Elvis movie is like, man that was a slur back in the day, because Elvis movies are so sucky all of them. Yeah, it's not like there's a new blue Hawaii sequel that's come out. Oh, there's a new movie. A documentary about Elvis. It's called epic Elvis Presley in concert footage that's never, it just got discovered has never been seen before. Here's a little clip of it. There's been a lot of rhythm and lots of, there's never seen my side of the story.

4:11So it's from 1970. It's a back when he used to play at the Hilton every single night. And it's just a bunch of 60 hours of concert footage that they've got. Also stuff from the practices and the rehearsals and everything like that getting ready for it and it looks pretty cool. So it's like free, fat, super drugged up Elvis. He's still drugged up I think. But thin, good looking could still sing and had his wits about it. Kind of the last gasp of his greatness. Yeah, absolutely. So that comes back special from 1969. Was it 68 69? I wish I was a tenth that cool on the coolest day of my life. And that's when I saw him in person as a little kid living in Memphis at Graseland. But I've told that story a million times, so I won't do it again. And of course, I know better than a strain at stool too. You can't do that as an older fellow. He's got to eat your prunes and let it happen.

5:12My favorite Elvis story. And I wasn't going to get off an Elvis story. But I was telling the same about this just a... All right, I told Henry about this the other day. Read the girlic books about Elvis. Last training in Memphis when the Pulitzer Prize. Great book. Great book. And then the next one about the down years, which is more funny than inspiring. But anyway, story about when he was at his drugged up fattest. So I saw him at Graseland as a little kid. He was out riding his horse and we pulled up the Graseland because we just lived a couple of blocks away. And they opened up the gates and he rode up on his horse and talked to some of us. And there was like five or six of us standing around. Me and my dad and brother and some other people talking Elvis. And he was in this cringey jacket and everything like that. Right around the very arrow we're talking about. Yeah, 69. So anyway, that was very, very cool. And but when he got fat and everything and he would ride his horse around Graseland, he was a fat guy in horse. And he had a bag of hot dog buns that he would tie around the horn of his saddle. And then he'd just have his hot dog buns with him all the time.

6:20You're telling me that guy died straining at stool? I don't get it. That's a funny story. Two other slow verdina. It's not important. Our three other. Only seconds into the movie I regretted leaving my porch and pitchfork at home. My torts are pitchfork at home. But thought it was just awful. Like beyond awful. Like can't even believe it was made awful. And then this final celebrity note. So Christina Applegates getting lots of interviews right now. She's dying of MS. It's quite a story. It's quite a story.

7:20She's got a memoir out too. Let me just read a little bit from her memoir. She's been through so much. I know. She also lived quite. She was a child star. Super hottie. Everything like that. This is from her memoir. In her new memoir, Christina Applegate divulged that she once left Brad Pitt for Sebastian Bach mid-date at the 1989 video music awards. Sebastian Bach was, what was he? The one of your hair band drummer or something like that. He's the skid row. Skid row. Yeah. I had spent all night staring at Bach. This is at the video music awards in 1989. I hate to put it like this, but Brad back then was still making his way in an actor and he wasn't yet V Brad Pitt, the man of so many's dreams. She's at the video music awards with Brad Pitt as her date in 1989, but she's staring at hair band Sebastian Bach. And it gets worse. Brad was left, so I just left. I went over to be with him after the show was over to during the party. Brad was left to solemnly drive my mom home.

8:24Then apparently at a gas station on the way, Brad almost got into a fight with a bunch of gang members and not surprisingly was subsequently very mad at me for many years. Applegate said she regretted the decision as soon as she found out that Bach had a long time partner in a one-year-old child. She also said Pitt didn't talk to her for many, many years. She leaves Brad Pitt at the awards show for a hair band singer who's got a girlfriend and a little kid. Brad Pitt has to drive her mom home, which just makes him a pretty decent guy actually. That even though his girlfriend left him for someone else, you all drive your mom home. I'm not going to leave her here. And I've seen that Sebastian Bach interview for something else and struck me as a real half-wit. So well done, Christina. It's a nice move. There you go. There's our celebrity update of the day. Yeah, and unfortunately, I need to jet. This is going to be a short podcast today because I got a jet off to the doctor. So Joe has left the building, tying it all together. There you go.
