Good morning, Kathy.

Good morning.

We are going to be, I think this is the day you return, right?

It is.

It is.

It is.

It is the day you come back from your-

I am Alaska to warm New Hampshire.

Maybe not.

It is cold to cold, but that is okay.

Yeah, that will be fun to-

It will be a big adventure.

I would love to hear about it.

I have watched, interestingly enough, I have actually done quite a bit of dog sledding

and up an Aspen Colorado.

Oh yeah.

And they have a whole, you know, operation up there that you can go dog sledding.

It is really fun just to be in the sled and have the dogs pull it.

Right.

Yeah, we are excited for it.

But it will be fun.

I avoid it.

And because of that, I have watched the I did a ride on the TV and it is always fun to,

you know, and I think it is like a thousand miles that they go over several, maybe a week

or so, you know, they got to deal with issues and snow and storms and that kind of stuff.

So it is really fun to how, you know, what stories the winner has to do to do it.

And so it will be fun for you to experience that and love to hear about it.

Right.

And actually that they have a big festival the day before it starts.

So we'll be there for the festival and anchorage and then we'll be there for the ceremonial

start.

But then the actual start of the races actually takes place a little bit further out.

But there's a ceremonial start and anchorage.

Right.

And then after the ceremonial start, we'll head out to Gerdewood and we won't actually

see, but that is where where the actual race goes through.

Yeah.

Yeah.

That's neat.

So we're talking about, you know, we all are called to be prophets.

We're in lesson two where we're talking about specifically now what does that look like?

We talked about lesson one, we talked about that it's because you're walking with God

in the kingdom.

You're in the heavenlies.

We have the privilege of him speaking to us and revealing things to us and receiving

from him.

And then he says, your role is going to be a priest.

And then we're talking about what does that mean specifically for us.

And last time we talked about that we are to demonstrate to principalize some powers,

the supernatural work of God, because we're experiencing it and you properly hell it

has to understand, it's really to be in community doing that.

Absolutely.

Which means, and we would keep encouraging you.

And by the way, if you're struggling with that is you can be happy to, you know, send

build that community and we have people all over the country that are operating that way

that you might be able to connect with even now, you know, and so we say don't neglect

the beautiful thing of having community around you, it'll it'll mean all the difference

in life if you do.

So as he, as we say that, okay, you demonstrate to principalize some powers, a natural question

comes up.

Does that mean we're never going to have trouble?

No, unfortunately.

Does that mean that if we're demonstrating that principalize some powers, we never

are experiencing anything negative?

No, that doesn't mean that either.

So how does that, and the question is, well, how does that all work?

Interesting enough, it's because in a big way, because of the trouble that we're all

in, God's supernatural is resolving that trouble.

And it's actually where the more beautiful stories come from.

Now we get the privilege of, you know, just like what's happening with your kids, you

know, they're led out to Oregon, it's not out of trouble that they're experiencing

supernatural.

It's that in this place, that's a normal way of life.

Now, will they have trouble, sure?

But we get to express that supernatural in just everyday life that happens to be joyful.

But we still have, we still have difficulty.

Okay.

So let's look at this.

So first of all, let's go to Colossians 2, 11 to, 11 to 15.

Sure.

Says in him, you were also circumcised with the circumcision made without hands by putting

off the body of the sins of the flesh by the circumcision of Christ, buried with him

in baptism, in which you were also raised with him through faith in the working of God

who raised him from the dead.

And you, being dead in your trespasses and the unsurcondcision of your flesh, he has made

alive together with him, having forgiven all your trespasses, having wiped out the handwriting

of the requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us.

And he has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross, having disarmed principalities

and powers.

He made a public spectacle of them, triumphant over them in it.

Yeah.

So he reminds us that, yes, you are dead in your trespasses.

But as you've come to receive me, I've given you the privilege of raising you up with

me into the heavenlies where I want you to live.

Now, keep remembering we're both physical and we live in a life of circumstances and reality,

and it's a world of trouble.

Jesus said in the world, you're going to have trouble, but I've overcome it.

Okay.

So we're not absent of that.

But he says, I brought you up with me so that you can continue to live the life of victory

in spite of that trouble.

And he said, the basis for that is a number one, I forgave you all past, present, and

future sins at the cross I did at once and for all.

And we know something about that.

Could we actually did a series on forgiveness and reconciliation is that, did he forgive

everybody?

Yes.

Yes.

Did he reconcile with everybody?

No.

No.

So he's implying that since I've given you that privilege, make sure that you stay with me

to receive the benefits of that.

But you're going to have to choose that.

I can't force it upon you, but I gave you the privilege of it.

Right.

Number two, he said, what that meant is that I remove the requirement against you.

Mm hmm.

Okay.

Now think about it.

It's really simple.

What was the requirement against me?

I have to be what?

I have to be holy.

Yeah.

I got to be holy and perfect.

Okay.

How well can I do that?

You've got a lot.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And that's why, you know, that's why when you think of the simplicity of it, is that's

a requirement, but nobody can meet that requirement.

Right.

And if I didn't do something about that, then nobody would ever have relationship with

me.

Right.

So what I did is I went to the cross and I nailed that requirement with me when I died,

that died too.

Mm hmm.

And no longer do you have to be perfect.

The requirement now is because I offered you forgiveness and I took away that requirement,

I replaced it with what?

Grace.

Mm hmm.

Which is what you now are called to believe what I just did.

That's all you got to do.

By the way, if you don't believe it, you can never go any further than that.

It's true, but you never experienced that truth.

And you'll die eternally separated from me or your live a life as a believer, not experiencing

the beautiful life that I have for you.

So he set that up.

Then he says, number three, I have disarmed principalities and powers.

Mm hmm.

Okay.

Now, think of that word disarmed, you know, what does that mean?

I've disarmed principalities and powers.

You've taken away their power and you think they have to be able to come against you.

Yeah.

Yeah.

And so think of a lot of us, you know, lived through the missiles that we used to put

remember in silos, all around the country, there were silos, you know, dug, dug holes

in the ground.

And in those holes were people that could push buttons to send it.

And they were there, armed, so that at any point in time, if they said, hey, we're being

attacked and we want you to push that button, you don't have to arm it.

That's already armed.

Just pull the trigger.

Okay.

Now, you know, we had, this is actually through Reagan's period, he established a level of both,

we don't need this anymore on, and two, we have other technology now.

So he said, okay, let's disarm all the missiles.

Okay.

Now, this is cool.

Did he actually remove the missiles?

He did it.

No.

What he did was remove the trigger.

There was nothing you could pull to set it off.

I disarm, that's what they said, I disarmed it.

In other words, it's there, has the potential, but I took away its ability to be fight.

So when Christ says I've disarmed principalities and powers, it's one of those both ends.

In our analogy, it would be like, well, that missile that was disarmed under certain circumstances

can be rearmed.

And he said, yeah, I've disarmed him, okay, where have I disarmed him in the kingdom?

In the kingdom.

Right.

Is that they're real.

And outside of that kingdom, they have power against you.

So they're still active.

There's still ability to do things against you as operational.

And I have never taken that away, which by the way we'd like him to, but he says, that's

why he said, you know, hey, Lord, you know, why don't you just end all disease.

I could, he said I could, but the world, the way it was set up, as I gave authority to

you, you gave it to Satan, he's got control of that.

And you live in that awful place.

Now in my kingdom, I can solve it.

So in my kingdom, it's disarmed, it has no power against you.

Okay.

So if the enemy who has power against me and is not pleasant, doesn't have power against

me when I'm in the kingdom, probably where would it be good place to be in the kingdom?

Yeah.

So he said, you know, health people live there because there it's been disarmed and he

said, matter of fact, he said, I have triumphed over them.

So it's not any longer a battle to be won.

And we got to be careful here because that's where a lot of people say it's a fight.

And the enemy's winning the fight.

He might over prevail over me because he's fighting and we have a tendency to think

he's equal with God.

He has the same power as God.

Right.

And God said, well, first of all, he's created being.

He doesn't have my characteristics.

And two is actually, I've already defeated him so that when you're in the kingdom, you

need to understand that.

You have the right to rebuke that and to say, I don't need to put, now, are you going

to have trouble?

Yes, because you're walking in enemy territory.

Right.

You have the right to say, wait a minute, I don't need to put up with this.

You've triumphed over it.

So father, have me come to you where they're disarmed and I can experience your covenant

blessing.

He said, because in the world, you're going to have it, but you need to understand the

truth about it.

So then he says, you need to understand what has happened.

So go to Revelation chapter three, verses 20 to 20, you know, this is interesting.

This verse is used as a verse for unbelievers.

And the pastors teach it as a passage to unbelievers.

It's not, it's a passage for believers.

Oh, interesting.

He's in this discussion of addressing the churches.

The churches are believers.

Right.

And he said, you know, I have a few things to show you is that, you know, you're doing

this well, but hey, you're, you're not doing well here.

And I need to help you understand something.

And so these verses are, remember, spoken to me as a believer.

So go ahead.

Go ahead and read that.

Hold.

I stand at the door and knock.

If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come into him and dine with him.

And he with me to him who overcomes.

I will grant to sit with me on my throne as I also overcame and sat down with my father

on his throne.

He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches.

Okay.

Yeah.

Keep, you know, remember thinking how simple a scripture is.

Mm-hmm.

What's that last sentence?

He who has an ear, let him hear what the spirit says to the churches.

To who?

The churches.

Is that the unbelievers?

That is to us.

That's to us.

Okay.

So remember in scripture, be careful that because somebody else has spoken or said something,

that when you get led to this, mm-hmm.

If you look at it, wait a minute.

That says to the churches.

Mm-hmm.

So aren't I part of the church, yep?

Does that mean it's for me?

Yes.

And you would have conflict with that.

Well, wait a minute.

People were saying that's for unbelievers.

But this is said to the churches, father, would you show me the truth?

That's the wonderful beauty of abiding.

Let's go find out.

Okay.

He's not upset with you that you're understanding something isn't true, but I'll show you

the truth.

And I always look at, you know, I keep telling people the Bible, isn't that complicated?

Right.

It seems that way.

But when you look at it, you say, well, I'm speaking to the church.

Does that mean it's me?

Yeah, I'm talking to you.

Okay, good.

He says, now what I do, now he's speaking to the church.

He says, what am I doing at the, at the behold, I do what?

What does he do?

I stand at the door and knock.

Okay.

Who's door?

My door.

Are.

Yeah.

Okay.

So you're a believer.

Just because you're a believer.

And the reason I'm knocking is that we're not in the same place.

That if you were and walking in the kingdom, who would you be with?

You'd be with him.

Is there a door, is there a door between us?

No.

No.

He said, I'm not knocking.

If you're with me, we're not, I'm not knocking anything.

You're already with me.

I'm knocking on a door because you're not with me.

In other words, you're not in the kingdom.

And I'm at the door saying, here I am, here I am, and he says, if anyone will do what?

If anyone hears my voice and opens the door.

So it's not just knocking.

He's talking to you.

Mm-hmm.

Hey, come on.

Come on.

Let's have fellowship together.

Let me show you the answers that you're seeking.

Let me overcome the trouble you're in.

Come on.

Mm-hmm.

I'm speaking, and I'm knocking, and you're saying, I recognize that.

And not my role is, okay, I welcome you now.

And think about it as we say this all the time, the kingdom of God is what, just to step

away.

Right.

Well, and that's really the verse before that we didn't read, verse 19, as many as

I love.

I repute and chase him.

Therefore, be zealous and repent.

Yeah.

When he's knocking, it's an invitation to repent.

That's it.

Come back into the kingdom.

That's it.

So let's have fellowship together.

And then he says, what will I do?

I'll come and dine with you.

Okay.

Now, think about it.

If you have friends over, we came to your house.

We sat out on the porch, the very beautiful new porch, I had fellowship.

You invited us inside and Dan barbecued.

We dined together.

What did we do?

And we dined.

Just enjoyed conversation, enjoyed each other's company.

Yeah.

See, we're in each other's presence, and we're just in dialogue together because we're

dining.

And the experience, particularly in the Eastern mentality, was when you dine, you have fellowship.

Right.

It's not just eat.

It's that you have fellowship.

He said, okay, so let's have fellowship together.

So in other words, yeah, just relax.

Let's enjoy each other first.

And remember, you're back in the kingdom.

You have the privilege to just forget not the benefits.

And then he says, let me tell you something.

And then when he says, the one who has what?

Where am I?

It's ears to hear, basically, but let me find it.

To him who has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit says to the churches.

Yeah.

And go and go one verse ahead of that.

Oh, okay.

To him who overcomes, I will grant to sit with me on my throne.

As I also overcame and sat down with my father on his throne.

Okay.

So he's saying that in the world, you have a need to overcome it.

Never come what, trouble, adversity, conflict, tough decisions.

I have not been able to resolve this on my own.

And he said, yeah, you can't.

So that if you have a heart to overcome it, now let's just stop there for a second.

I've got a problem.

And by the way, we all have and we know.

What would we like to have happen?

That to go away.

It'd be resolved.

I want victory over this thing.

And again, it can go all the way from, you know, we just went through this with our leadership.

It could be a poor identity.

It could be I struggle with what it means to hear your voice.

I struggle with a pattern that I have or I tend to get angry all the time or I'm frustrated

or I go to fear or anxiety or I got this awful thing happening to me.

He said, I need to overcome, he said, he who overcomes, he's saying, you will overcome

it.

Okay.

Why?

Because I've done it for you.

And if you come with me, I'll guide you into the overcoming and the requirement is,

you're going to have to be with me.

If you do, I will.

And we will and it'll overcome.

You're not exempt from trouble.

I've disowned from supplies and powers.

When you come with me, I'm going to overcome it.

So as a as a prophet, as a priest, help each other come.

Okay.

Now go to Psalm 54, 4 to 7.

It says, behold, God is my helper.

The Lord is with those who uphold my life.

He will repay my enemies for their evil, cut them off in your truth.

I will freely sacrifice to you.

I will praise your name, O Lord, for it is good.

For he has delivered me out of all my trouble.

And my eye has seen its desire upon my enemies.

Okay.

Now we know, remember in the context here, the fundamental enemy is who?

Of our enemy, spiritual enemy.

Who's our spiritual enemy?

Satan.

Satan and the demon.

And so they're working hard to prevent me from being in a place where he's disowned

from supplies and powers.

And I can demonstrate to them, I've got power over you.

So the enemies at work to try to thwart that.

He says, no, come to me and recognize that I will and have delivered you from what?

From all your enemies.

Okay.

And all your trouble.

Mm-hmm.

Okay.

How much of your trouble?

All.

Okay.

Does that mean some?

Maybe yeah.

Maybe no.

Nope.

See, the word there is purposeful.

Because every single problem you got, and again, are you going to have trouble?

Yes.

Are you going to continue to have trouble?

Yes.

I will overcome all of them and deliver you from all of them if you walk with me.

And your enemy, who is the first of all, a spiritual enemy using fleshly enemy, people

against you, and thwarting you circumstantially, I will deliver you from that.

That's why I've disarm principalities and powers.

I've overcome it already.

I have the answer for you to overcome it.

And if you follow me, you will be delivered from that trouble.

So it's not maybe perhaps, or I'm just supposed to live with it.

That's why he says, I circumstantially will get you out of this trouble.

Now our desire would be to do it immediately.

Right.

And God said, well, this may take a while.

But in the meantime, if you're with me in the kingdom, you have what, righteousness, peace,

and joy while you're walking through the trouble.

But you recognize that my role as a prophet is to help you understand that why you're going

to be in trouble.

You are going to be in trouble.

And when you're in trouble, it's hard to see the answer.

And you have a tendency to get kind of heavy-hearted with it.

Like I don't know how this is going to work, and this may be, maybe not resolved.

Okay.

My role as a prophet is to do what for you.

To lead you back to the feet of Jesus and basically remind you to get, rather than feel

defeated, to get curious, God, what do you have to say about this?

How are you going to resolve this?

I know that's who you are.

So let's go there.

Yeah.

And to encourage you to say, no, it'll be resolved.

No, it'll get resolved.

No, it'll get resolved.

That's why I say, when people, particularly, are starting with me, they come to me with

really difficult things, well, I guarantee you God will resolve it.

And they say, well, you can't do that.

I said, yeah, I can.

And I can point them right to this verse.

I'll deliver you out of every one of them.

It's not some.

It's all up.

I don't know how.

I don't know when.

And I don't know his answer to that.

But I do know he will.

My role as a prophet is to encourage you to do that one.

While you're doing that, I'll walk with you to hear what God has to say to lead you out

of it.

Right.

And our role is to help you and your role is to help me.

So Heavenly Father, we thank you for this piece of it that we're going to have trouble.

You've disarmed principality and powers.

You have overcome it.

We will be overcomers as well.

And we will be delivered if we have a heart to stay with you and serve our role as prophet

and let other people serve their roles as prophet to us.

And we pray that we'll recognize that and begin to experience that where we get delivered

and then we help others to stay in that same place.

And we thank you in Christening.
