Water Polo Star Sues School for Alleged Abuse

An 18-year-old former Water Polo star from Harvard West Lake School in Los Angeles has filed a civil lawsuit against the school its officials. And a former teammate, Aiden Remain claims he endured sexual assault, harassment, and racial abuse from three teammates between August 2022 and February 20, 24. This suit was filed on Friday, February 27 in Los Angeles Superior Court. The allegations censor unrepeated attacks, mainly by teammate Luca Vander Wode, who allegedly ambushed Remain on campus, including in the pool, area. Remain says he reported the incidents right away, especially after learning of abuse against another player, but the school took no action. Remain, who was black, also accuses two teammates of using racial slurs daily for five months, in staging a slavery reenactment by whipping him in the wait room.
