SUDS Episode – Yes, it’s summer camp for adulting, Beer Camp. We needed a way to kill an hour with beer and decided to take it international with Sierra Nevada Beer Camp 2017.  Possibly a new rating, “That smells like a truck stop bathroom.” We go through this 12 pack and pick our top 3 beers. No travel ban was in effect for this beer and all beers, both good and bad were welcome.

Fullers, from London, UK — Atlantic Vintage Ale SUDS - 3

Avery, from Boulder, CO — Dry-Hopped Barleywine Style Ale – SUDS - 3

Surly, from Minneapolis, MN — Ginger Lager, brewed with ginger and cayenne pepper SUDS - 4

Saint Arnold, from Houston, TX — Dry-Hopped Berliner Weisse – SUDS - 4

Tree House, from Monson, MA — East Meets West IPA, a slightly hazy IPA, with low bitterness, and high hoppiness (Citra, Mosaic)- SUDS - 4

The Bruery, from Placentia, California — Raspberry Sundae, brewed with raspberry puree, cocoa powder, lactose, vanilla, and oats – SUDS - 4

Kiuchi, from Ibaraki-ken Naka-gun, Japan — White IPA with Yuzu – SUDS- 3

Boneyard, from Bend, OR — West Coast DIPA - SUDS - 3

Garage Project, from Wellington, New Zealand — Campout Porter, made with malt smoked on Manuka wood, Beechwood honey, and Tahitian vanilla – SUDS - 4

Mikkeller, from Copenhagen, Denmark — Thai-style Iced Tea, made with wheat, oats, puffed rice, tamarind, star anise, black tea, orange peel, and lactose – SUDS - 3

Ayinger, from Bavaria, Germany — Dunkle Weisse – SUDS - 1

Duvel, from Breendonk, Belgium — Hoppy Belgian-Style Golden Ale brewed with lemon peel- SUDS -1
