Warriors' Richard Sprains Ankle, Out Early

Golden State Warriors' rookie Will Richard took a tough hit during their game against the Los Angeles Lakers on Saturday night. The young guard sprained his ankle in the first half and had to leave early. He only played five minutes before heading to the locker room. Richard has shown real promise this season after a standout college career at Florida, where he helped win a national title. Which Steve Kerr has trusted him more in the rotation as a solid two-way player on both ends of the court. In that short time on the floor, Richard scored four points, grabbed one rebound and added a block. It was a quick end to what could have been a bigger night for him against a tough rival.
