Warriors Face Uphill Battle for Playoff Spot

The Golden State Warriors suffered a big loss on Saturday, February 28, falling 129 to 121. It was a misshot at closing the gap on the loss Angela's Lakers for the six seed in the Western Conference. After the game, Coach Steve Kerr was candid about the challenge ahead. He said the team faces a tough fight to skip the play and tournament this season. Interestingly, Kerr noted that seeding talks don't happen behind closed doors with the players. Injuries have hit Golden State hard lately. Stephen Curry and Seth Curry have both missed several games in recent weeks. The team needs his full roster back soon to have any real shot at climbing higher. These setbacks come at a bad time with games running out. The Warriors sit in a tight race and can't afford many more slips if they want direct playoff entry. They get another crack at it on Monday, March 2nd, hosting the Los Angeles Clippers. The Clippers are 27 wins and 31 losses holding down 10th place in the West.
