Wake Up Tri-Counties RaeAnn Talks National Immunization Month, Mosquitos, WIC Program, Job Opportunity, and Insurance Navigators

RaeAnn joined Wake Up Tri-Counties to talk about National Immunization Month, the three R's to avoid Mosquitoes, the WIC Program, the Homecare Assistant hiring event, and Insurance Navigators. The Henry and Stark County Health Departments are highlighting several August services and reminders. A Homecare Assistant hiring and open interview event is set for Friday, August 21, 2026, from 10 AM to 2 PM at 110 North Burr Boulevard in Kewanee, with part-time caregiving jobs and training available. August is also National Immunization Awareness Month, and First Choice Healthcare offers routine vaccines by appointment in Kewanee and Toulon. WIC services continue for eligible families across Henry, Stark, Marshall, and Putnam Counties. Health officials also urge residents to “Fight the Bite” against West Nile virus and note upcoming Get Covered Illinois Navigator events for health insurance help.
