They are taking on St. John's. The total is 141 and a half. Look at this matchup. I think there's a lot of elements that play as to why one would like St. John's. And by the way,

2:03I'm not going to Oki-Doki here. I do prefer St. John's and the points here, but I'm on the under 142. When I think about this matchup, it's the age of St. John's. It's the size of St. John's. It's the style at which the Johnny's play with. That I think is going to control how this game is played. Tempo wise, attitude wise, physicality wise, and that's why I like the under 142. It's at 141, 141 and a half. I still like it at that point, but you think about the length that they have in the perimeter with guys like Edgerford and Hopkins and sellers and Mitchell, who's six foot eight. And by the way, those four guys I named are seniors. They're not ready for their college careers to end. And I think that this is where the veteran-ness of a squad can really show itself in a pressure-packed situation. Take it on a Duke team. Have you been overly impressed with them during this NCAA tournament? Shore and Gogbo came back. He will be limited in some sort of capacity for this matchup. We'll see if they get healthier here coming down the road and get foster back. But the reality is, even with those guys, it's a very young team.

3:10Sorry, it takes a swig water. It's a very young team for Duke. And because of that, I think St. John's controls the style for the fight. Give me the under, especially when you start looking at the number. Rick Patino, two and oh, this run in the tournament with the Johnny's John Shire, nine and four overall to the under in the NCAA tournament, seven and four. When seated four or higher, I like the under a lot in Duke and St. John's. Now, as far as the other games are concerned, I don't have official plays as of right now. But let's run through them and see what I do like. Michigan's laying eight and a half. Total's 172 and a half. And this could be a spot where Michigan misses case on. He is an elite three point shooter. He's a guard. Guards tend to be the guys who go off and games against Alabama with the pace that they're going to play with because bigs don't run like the guards do. The guards can get up and down the court a little bit either easier. That's why I'm concerned about laying the eight and a half with Michigan. This, though, does feel very similar to what we saw with Arkansas and Arizona. You have one team that pushes the pace. One team that is all gas, no breaks. Arkansas, Alabama, both out of the SEC. So perhaps we do what we did

4:14with that game and we attack it from a team total perspective. Would you want to do something team total with Michigan over 90 and a half? A little high. A little high. A little high. A little high. That would be my lean though over 90 and a half with Michigan because I do think they are going to run with Alabama and they have better scores. So I lean over 90 and a half. It's just a little bit rich for me right now. That might change for a tip off, but want a little action. But I'm not betting it as of right now. You've got you kind of Michigan state Huskies are one and a half point favorite. Your total is one 34 and a half. These two teams are mirror images of each other with the defense, the size, the tenacity to coaches who have won championships to coaches who coach hard who are very animated on the sidelines. Michigan's 22nd and offense, 13th and defense, UConn's 11th and offense and defense, 30th and offense. And the one element I play here is that Michigan state has an offense this year, whereas Tom iso doesn't always have that and that would be an X factor for me. They're also way more battle tested at least the last few weeks than UConn is.

5:17UConn early in the year had a great out of conference. They played amazing then. Once it got into league playing Big East, I was not overwhelmed with what I saw from the Huskies this year. If I was doing anything in this game though, I would lean under 134 and a half and that is a very low total. Tom isos 11 and four to the under when playing in the sweet 16. Dan Hurley is 12 and six to the under in the NCAA tournament. One guy that I think would be the X factor for me if I was going to back aside would be Michigan state's Jackson Kohler. If he goes off, I think Spardy wins this game. If he doesn't, I do think UConn advances. That's how thin the margin is for this match up between these two teams. Then finally, Tennessee is as taken on Iowa State. The cyclones are three and a half point favorites. The total is 140 and a half. We don't know the status of Joshua Jefferson. He's their best rebounder. He is their second leading scorer. He is their best overall player. Now, Iowa State still has plenty of weapons. I'm not worried about that. They'll have enough offense here. The problem is, I think that Rick Barnes has a group that's going to be really physical and very competitive. Nick Aiment is a stud. He's a size mismatch with what he can do.

6:21Gillespie can score with the best of them. They do have a bit of a counter-punch for what Iowa State likes to do offensively here. If I was going to bet something, I would lean under 140 and a half in this match up as it features two elite defensive coaches. Iowa State is fifth in defense. Tennessee is 14th in defense. Rick Barnes in the tournament is 12 and 9 to the under. Ozzleburgers, 8 and 3 to the under in the tournament. Two and 0 to the under when playing in the sweet 16. My lean would be under 140 and a half in that game and said, I hope my Iowa State 28 to 1 ticket advances to the elite 8. With that, let's look at Major League Baseball because we've got a pretty solid card for Friday and I have a bunch of bets that I do like. I want to start with the late game first. It's Cleveland taking on Seattle, George Kirby on the Hill minus 171, Gavin Williams plus $1.41. The total in the game is seven. Now, first blush, I would think about taking the dog and Gavin Williams plus 141 because this is the guy who finished the second half of last year on a heater, 17 to third innings, 12 starts, 7 and one record, two eight, two one eight

7:25ERA, 78 strikeouts. But I don't know if I want to go with Cleveland back to back nights where they won on opening night. I don't know if they win the second day here in a row. Kirby doesn't have great numbers against the Guardian hitters, but it's mostly Ramirez and Kwan who've done the damage, not the rest of the lineup. So while I lean guardians plus 141, I am instead going to take Gavin Williams over five and a half strikeouts at minus 130. The last time he faced Seattle was back in August of last year, seven innings, eight strikeouts for him. And I think he's really found himself as a pitcher. So I'm going to go over on Gavin Williams strikeouts against Seattle. The next play that I do like here is we're going to look at the angels and the Astros where I'm going to go team total on Houston over four and a half runs. You say Kikuchi has really bad numbers against this team overall, even though he spent some time with them. Houston's 10th and OPS against lefties last year. A lot of those guys are back. Kareya and Paradez and Pena, who's healthy and Yordon Alvarez despite being a lefty match as lefties. And Kikuchi's career ERA

8:26minimates 506 in 15 starts. Remember he played for the Astros briefly. And I just think they hit him around. Last time he saw that was in September, the Astros scored five earned in five and two-thirds just off of Kikuchi alone. So give me the over team total four and a half for Houston against Kikuchi and the angels. Now, I'm also going to be on the team total over for the A's and their matchup with the blue jays. You know, Kevin Gossman 35 years old. He was solid last year, 359 ERA. But you know, the last two times that he faced this team was last season in Sacramento, five innings, five hits, three earned. And then in Toronto, four and two-thirds, eight hits, three earned runs. The Toronto hitters have a combined average of 340 against him and 840 OPS. A good chunk of it is Brent Rutgers, four for eight with a dinger. Jeff McNeil's four for nine as well against him. But I think this A's team total is a little bit low at three and a half. So I like the over three and a half on the A's team total. Now the the odds are Toronto minus 168. Athletics plus a dollar 39, the totals eight and a half. I'd consider the dog here too with

9:30Severino on the bump plus 139. Last season Luis Severino was terrible in Sacramento. He had a 601 home ERA on the road. He was 302. Now he hasn't faced Toronto since 2022. But I would think about the A's here as the dog that could be live on the opening day for both of these teams. And we saw a few dogs that ended up cashing on Thursday's card. So that is something that I would consider. But I'm not quite there yet. Instead, I think that team total is just the tad too low at three and a half for the A's. I'm also going to go with Chris sale under 17 and a half total out for courted against the Kansas City Royals. They don't really strike out. That's a sign of this team. Bobby Whitt, Mike Elgarcia, guys who put the ball on play. I'd also point out that in the offseason, Kansas City added a couple lefty killers. Lane Thomas, notoriously good against South Paws. Blanking right now. There's Lane Thomas Starling, Marta. Marta is the other one really good against lefties. So I think that Chris sale, who his K prop six and a half, I don't want to fade that just because he can pick up seven in the first two innings of this game. I'm going to go under

10:3317 and a half out for courted because Atlanta's going to treat him with kick gloves. They can't afford him to throw too many pitches to get hurt because they're running out of arms already. So I'm going to do that and go under there. And then I'm going to take the dog Detroit, Framber Valdez, plus 104 on the road at San Diego. You know, he had a down year last year, but he's still three six 60 array and 187 strikeouts was awesome against the Paws last season in one start in April, six innings seven hits to earned two strikeouts.
