The Houston Cougars are plus 225 to make the final four. And I think a lot of it is being held against this team, the schedule that they just went on. It's the big 12. It's the big 12. Shout out to Dan Hawkins. The Houston Cougars just happened to get hit with the hardest part of their schedule at the worst time late in the year. You can get them 10 to 1 to win the title. I don't know if they're capable of winning the title. I just know that Calvin Samson's the type of coach. When March comes around because of the defense, the physicality is team plays with. I trust them to get to around the elite eight. So maybe I can head off this plus 225 ticket, but they faced at they went at Iowa State. They hosted Arizona and they went to Kansas back to back to back here in late February. They're going to finish their season now after beating Colorado with Baylor and Oklahoma State. They should be able to lick their wounds get things going back in the right direction. I like Houston at plus 225. Another team I'm going to bet to make the final four here is Michigan State at 10 to 1. I just think they're going to be a mismatch for a lot of teams with Colors ability to dominate the glass and shoot from the outside. Fears is fearless as a guard and
just feels like a guy could take over and iso in March January, February iso. This is what he does this time of year. Their defense is elite and because defense matters to me so much in the tournament, give me Michigan State 10 to 1 to make the final four and then two long shots out of the big 12. Texas Tech is 25 to 1. Grant McCastlin is a great coach. I believe he wins on the margins and I think without JT Topin, this team showing you what they're made of. They have the best point guard of the country in Anderson. They have an elite two garden at well who can shoot it beyond the arc. If he gets hot, he can carry this team as far as they need to go. Give me Texas Tech 25 to 1 and this is a real long shot. I'm kind of obsessed with Central Florida and Johnny Dawkins, not just because of what they did to BYU last week, but they can shoot the basketball. They have an offense and if you look at the schedule, when they've had to step up and play really tough teams, they have been ultra competitive. If there are teams in their path that are not as battle tested, specifically not from the big 12 or the big 10. I think UCF with the right draw can make a run here.
I'm betting 100 to 1, not because they make the final four, but if they can get to the sweet 16 elite eight, that's a ticket I can hedge against at such a monster number. So those are the final four bets that I'm going to add today after the show. With that, let's look at the Monday card in college basketball as we'll begin with Duke taking on NC State. This one has a number right now of nine and a half. Duke is favored on the road. I just want to get the updated number here. Make sure I have it as my screen just went away. Come on, click. Oh my god, you're killing me. All right, let me just go to the page on draftings. Duke lane nine and a half total 149 and a half. So a slight move up on the total from 148 in a hook. Duke enters this game on a six game winning streak. They beat beat Virginia by 26 on Saturday. There are two losses. Texas Tech on a neutral North Carolina on February 7. That matters here. This is a look ahead spot for Duke. They have North Carolina after NC State to close out the season. The wolf pack of lost four of five. Their only win is
in that span, verse North Carolina, who Duke lost to just a few weeks ago. Duke is elite defensively. The best in the country. The defense generates the offense, but the offense is just fine as well. History of this meeting between these two ACC teams. NC State's five and one against the spread last six. Eleven and five covering the number since 2016 against the blue devils. The under is on a five and one run recently, but 10 and six to the over if we go all the way back to 2016. John Shire seven and four covering the number nine and two to the under as a road favorite of six and a half to 12. We'll wait only one and three against the spread as an underdog with NC State. I lean under the 149 and a half and I'm going to regret this. Well, I swore off betting NC State. I'm back. I'm taking the nine and a half. Let's take the wolf pack in a potential look ahead spot for Duke, even though there's a chance they are look ahead proof because Shire is that dialed in as a coach. I just think I'm principle with so many of these situational spots coming home the last like seven to
10 days in college basketball. Unprinciple. I got to take NC State Iowa State is going to Arizona and the cyclones come into this losers of two of three. They're often nine point home lost to Texas tech, but really it wasn't that close. They got smoked by the red raiders without JT Toppen. Arizona's riding high four game win streak beat BYU Houston, Baylor and Kansas. They just took care of the J Hawks by 23 points at home over the weekend. I am going to take Iowa State. I'm taking the seven and a half. This is a bounce back. Perhaps Texas tech was a look ahead for the cyclones at home thinking about Arizona coming up on the schedule and they just didn't take the red raiders seriously because they didn't have JT Toppen. TJ Ozzelberger under seems to be the way to go with him in this spot on the road. He's five and two to the under as a road dog of six and a half to 12 19 and seven to the under in March with Iowa State 31 and 29 to the under on the road. He is 13 and three against the spread often upset conference loss as a favorite.
Tommy Lloyd eight and five against the spread seven and six to the under as a home favorite of six and a half to 12 16 and five covering the number 14 and seven to the over at home when the totals in the 140s for the Arizona head coach. But I'm taking Iowa State plus seven and a half. I might regret both of those bets, but I'm on both dogs in terms of those games. Let's kick it over to the NBA where I do have a bunch of player props that I placed last break. So let's begin with the Celtics and the box Boston's length seven and a half on the road totals 214 and a half. Joe Mazula 33 and 28 against the spread 32 and 29 to the over as a road favorite of six and a half to 12 61 and 45 to the under playing a second game in five days. Doc Rivers just three and five against the spread but five and three to the over as a home dog of six and a half to 12 in this matchup. I'm going with AJ Green under 11 and a half points and rebounds for the box. Boston allows the third fewest points to small forwards against Boston back on February 1st. He played 29
minutes. He had three points and he had two rebounds in that game and he's averaging just six points six points per game over his last five. Give me the under on AJ Green 11 and a half points and rebounds. You've got the clippers go in the warriors. This is the late night game where the clipper lay in one and a half on a back to back totals to 19 and a hook here. A couple of bets I like. I'm going Moses Moody under 18 and a half points rebounds and assists. Clippers allow the seventh fewest points, third fewest rebounds, ninth fewest assists to small forwards. Verse the clippers in just 19 minutes on January 5th. He had four two and one in 22 minutes. He had nine three and two back on October 28th. I think his numbers might be a little bit inflated because he has been hot lately. I think this might be a spot to fade him against the clippers team that is good to put in the clamps down on guys on the perimeter, specifically at small forward. And over I like in this game is Chris Dunn. We're going to go over on his 16 and a half points rebounds and assists. Taken on a team in Golden State that allows the fourth most points per game
to opposing point cards more importantly in the action on Sunday. Chris Dunn only played 22 minutes of action. He had nine four and three in that game for the clippers. Back on January 5th against Golden State, Dunn had 16, three and six and 33 minutes against the warriors in 26 minutes on October 28th. He had five and four and anticipate Chris Dunn to have a pretty solid game against Golden State. So let's go over 16, three and six or so I'm sorry over 16 and a half PRA and judging more on the 16, three and 60 had on January 5th and hope that Kauai Leonard on the second half of back to back does not play in this game because then we will end up getting a pretty good number. I imagine this will go up a pointer to once that news happens. I don't have inside information. I'm just speculating. It's a second half of the back to back and that is what he does. Finally, the last game we're going to look at the nuggets going to the jazz. They're coming off a loss a back to back where they lost a Minnesota on Sunday. David Adelman 19 and five as to the over as a road favorite six and two against the spread six and two to the over as a road favorite
of six and a half to 12 nuggets have already been better minus 10 and a half up to 11 and a half. I wouldn't go over 243 and a half though because Utah doesn't want to win because of that. I'm going to go under 23 and a half PRA on Kyle Phillipowski. Take it on this front court for Denver that I think is going to be able to limit him. Nuggets allow the 5th fewest rebounds per game, 6th fewest assists per game to centers and I'm not sure he's going to play a lot in the 4th quarter. So we're going to go under 23 and a half PRA for Kyle Phillip Powski. So you're listening to this podcast hoping to get an edge. But what if I told you you're only halfway there?
