The national title game. It is officially here. The Wolverines, a seven and a half point favorite total is 144 and a half. Yukon's looking for their seventh title since 1999 Dan Hurley would become the only active coach with more than two championships. Yukon and Dan Hurley. He's in his eighth season there. He's 5 and 0 in the final four, 18 and three in the NCAA tournament. And if he wins a title on Monday night, he ties Roy Williams in Bobby Knight and Jim Calhoun. He would then just trail John Woodens 10, Coach Ks 5 and eight offrups four championships in legacy Michigan on the other end is seeking its first championship since 1989. Dusty May has come out and said he will not be pursuing other jobs, which means the North Carolina job will go to someone else and he is focused on the task at hand, which is bringing a title to Ann Arbor. The last big 10 team to win it all was Michigan State in 2000, as Dusty May looks to break that trend taken on Yukon.
As the big east owns a perfect 8 and 0 straight up and against the spread record in the national championship since 2001. That trend courtesy of Steve McAnon at visa.com. Before you place your bets, go read his article up at the website right now with all of his trends like championship games. Favorites of three points or more, 15 and three straight up, 13 and 25 against the spread run in the national title game. We've seen the favorite win and cover the last three games. Ironically, two of those three was Yukon laying six and half against Purdue and Yukon laying seven and a half against San Diego State by my math. The under is on a seven and three run in the national title game. I would lean under in this matchup between Dusty May and Dan Hurley with a lot of pressure on the line. And I think Yukon knows if they're going to win this one, they're going to have to slow down the pace because they cannot run and gun with Michigan's depth of options they have offensively. We have a complete contrast in styles. Michigan speed dominates in the paint. Yukon efficiency intensity. I want to know who's going to guard Yaxl Lendenberg
and slow him down. I know he's dealing with a foot injury or a leg injury, but I still think he's capable of getting his and going over his 14 and a half points. Is it Silas Demory? Does Demory have enough size to deal with the versatility of Lendenborg? To me, Demory is Johnson, Jr. The transfer from Illinois is really the X factor in this game for the Wolverines. He is such an intense defender. And I think he's going to be a guy that's going to be tasked with trying to slow down Alex Carraban, but also trying to get in the way of Terris Reed, Jr. Underneath the basket. And if he can do so, it's going to be hard for Yukon to win this game if they can somehow slow down Terris Reed, Jr. Which part of that will be a day. Mara, who's coming off the game, rescore 26 points. I don't think that's going to happen again. I don't think they're going to catch Yukon by surprise. With those banks off the glass, using them as an extension of the lob game. But I think Mara, being able to body up read and get help from Johnson, that's going to be crucial for Michigan if they're going to end up winning and covering this number. When does Alex Carraban show up? Because I keep hearing about his experience and he's two of 13 from three
in his last two games. Is this the spot? Feels like now that I said that Alex Carraban's going to have a monster performance from three. And if he does, that will help Yukon in covering this number. Yukon, second most points per game off screens this year. So they're going to keep Michigan moving on that end of the floor than Michigan. Oh, and two in games when that with 63 possessions or fewer, Yukon averaging 67.9 possessions per game on the season, but 64.9 over the last three. If they make it a slow game, it's going to be difficult for Michigan to pull away. If the Wolverines can dictate the pace, make it a little bit more fast. Well, then it's tough for Yukon to hang with them. I don't have an official play on the game. I have 20 to one on Michigan that we talked about an opening night of the college hoop season. I will be hedging with Yukon plus the seven and a half and a little bit on the money line at plus 240, but I think Michigan's the right side at seven and a half were probably getting a little away from where I like it. I like to better at six and a half seven, but I also like the under. I do think we're going to have a lower scoring game when you factor in the pressure that is on these
teams playing in Lucas oil, the build up for this moment, the short turnaround from Saturday where there was plenty of a build up for those games. Now that emotional spot where you try to recapture your energy from the weekend, I just think this could be a slower start. So I lean under one 44 and a half with Yukon and Michigan. So that is where we stand with the national championship game. We also have a full card of Major League baseball that we need to attack here as part of the Veecin morning bet segment. Let's begin with a player prop first. And I'm looking at Seattle and Logan Gilbert taking on Texas and the Jacob DeGrom on the bump for the Rangers. Right now Texas is minus 122 Seattle's plus 102. The total in the game is seven and a half, but I'm going over six and a half strikeouts at a plus price, plus 117 on Logan Gilbert. I go to Veecin.com slash MLB props, look at our Opti AI player prop projections. They agree with me. Now it's not the biggest edge, but they do have a 3.3% edge to the over of six and a half strikeouts for Logan Gilbert
in this matchup. If you become a Veecin pro, you can see our player prop projections for the NBA for MLB. I like using it for the pictures specifically, but we also have hitter props available as well. It's Veecin.com slash MLB props. You'll get hitters and pictures top value plays and strong plays all powered by Opti AI. And I'm on Gilbert over his six and a half strikeouts plus 3.3% is the edge. The biggest edge on the website. I'll give that to you. Brian Bayo for the Boston Red Sox against Milwaukee. They have him going over the four and a half strikeouts at plus 111. The edge is 24.9% to them. So they really like him going over this number. Brian Bayo against Milwaukee. Now in that game, I like Milwaukee on the money line. Give me Brandon Woodruff minus 115. As we're already having chance at Fenway Park for for the fans wanting the ownership group to sell the team. This is not how things have, this is not how they wanted things to get off on this foot. The Boston Red Sox this year with postseason and penit aspirations. At some point, they'll
start winning. I don't love betting against a team that's looked this bad because they will come back the other way at some point. But I like Woodruff on the road minus 112. I got minus 115. There's a better number here at circa. Give me them in that spot. Atlanta. I'm going run line against the angels minus one and a half at plus 110 with Chris sale on the bump. I just don't see the angels offense doing much against sale, who's looked tremendous. His first two starts against Kansas City and the A's now taking on Jose Serriano, who's not good at home for his career or last year. Last year, he had a 590 ERA at home, verse 291 on the road in his career, 484 ERA at home, verse 296 on the road. For some reason, Jose Serriano is a better road pitcher than home pitcher. So I'm going to take Chris sale. I'm going to lay the run line and I love Drake Baldwin mashing Matt Olsen is starting to hit the braves offense might be too much for the angels to hang with on Monday night. I'm also taking the Phillies minus 120 at San Francisco, who's throwing Adrian Hauser. Hauser doesn't have overpowering stuff. The rookie Andrew painters, someone the Phillies
have a lot of belief in, but there's a lot of dissension with the Giants right now. Tony Vitello just got thrown out of a game on Sunday against the Met's arguing. Does that help clubhouse matters? I don't know. Matt Chapman who got called on a hot mic calling out his teammate Casey Schmidt. He also tried to steal second late in that game with a meaningless run got thrown out there. Feels like the vibes are a little bit off with San Francisco. And I love this Philly team potentially going on the road now, scoring San Francisco, who is not putting the ball in play, who is not scoring a ton of runs and not capitalizing with runners in scoring position. I'm also going to be on the Orioles team total over four and a half taken on the white socks. As of right now, Grant Taylor, a reliever is going to start, but I think he's opening and handing it off to Eric Fettie. Eric Fettie does not scare anyone. In fact, I would consider a Peter Lonzo home run prop once that is available. It was not last. I looked and if it is available right now, we are going to add that. I am looking. I don't see it. There's nothing up, but Peter Lonzo home run prop is definitely something to consider. He has very good numbers, eight of 22 lifetime against Fettie. Few other
home run props. I'm targeting for Monday, Brandon Lau of the Pittsburgh pirates. We're going to attack Hermann Marquez that way, and we're going to go on him to hit a home run plus four 25. I also like the pirates minus one 31 with Bubba Chandler on the bump taken on Marquez and San Diego. I'm also backing Ivan Herrera of the Cardinals plus five 75 for a home run for him as he faces Zach Latel, who's very prone to the long ball. Jordan Alvarez and Christian Walker plus two 16 plus three 26 respectively, playing in Colorado against Ryan Feltner. Then in the NBA, I'm looking at Carl Anthony Towns over 11 and half rebounds against the Atlanta front court that I think he should be able to feast against Mausole and Denny Ojveda against Denver, who struggles defending small forwards over 39 and a half PRA. We're going under 26 and a half PRA for Desmond Bain, facing the Detroit Pistons, who are locked down defensively. Tyrese Maxi under seven and a half assists against the Spurs, and then Stefan Castle over 31 and a half PRA against San Antonio.
