Few things are as uplifting as the greatest moments in sports, and nothing brings us together quite like Team USA at the Olympic Winter Games. From NBC Universal's iconic storytelling to the innovative technology across Xfinity and Peacock, Comcast brings the Olympic Games home to America, sharing every moment with millions. When Team USA steps onto the world stage, we're not just watching. We're cheering together. This winter, we're all on the same team. Comcast, proud partner of Team USA. Gambling Problem called 1-800-Gampler.

Cleveland, Ohio, both of our Alma Mater's Jensen are on to the round of 32, and everybody else has got to fight their way to get there today here with a full day two of game set for today. Would you make a day one? The overview of it, would you say on a 1-10 as much chaos as you thought about the right predictable amount, some chaos, and some chalk? Yeah, did not expect to sweat TCU and survivor as much as I did, especially with them up 15 and half time. And boy, the meltdown was on. I thought I was going to be out early. And I'm like, you know what? Hey, it's the first game of the day, at least I don't have to worry the rest of the day. And thank you, Hornfrogs for rescuing. So I am going to start looking though into, I mentioned to you yesterday, I was leaning towards wanting to take a U-com today because of the issues with two seeds overall, not only getting farther into the tournament, but their real inability to get to the final four. So we'll think through some strategy for people just tuning in that have survived

in day one. Now have to make another selection here in day two. Well, Duke had to survive in day number one. And boy, was it really a fight to the finish there? That's where we begin. Now number two, our highlights in headlines. Help your bottom line with today's highlights and headlines. There was a pivotal point around the 12-minute mark of that second half. Prasiana is going up for a dunk. They miss it. They get the rebound go for another dunk. You get a block. Duke comes the other way. And what should be a 15-point deficit right around that under 12-minute timeout, turns into an 11-point deficit and kind of looks around on my boys and we're like, all right, here it comes. The comebacks on. Even Joe Frieza, our esteemed producer, said the same thing to his boys. Like, you kind of knew in that moment that Duke was not going to be denied. They come back and get the win. Look, this was a 27-and-a-half point favorite. They win by six. They trail by 13 at the break. So, Jensen, the, the, the, the dramatics were real. This is not

something like, ah, they were never really in it. I mean, CNN had a real good shot to pull off a big shocker as a 16. What, what does it say about Duke? Does it say, all right, we took CNN lightly and that won't be the case going forward or there really are some holes in the overall number one. Yeah, I, I could see some holes and perhaps during McNamara's crew exposed a little blueprint. Whether that is at the hands of TCU to try and dethrone them or should Duke survive to the sweet 16 and the road only gets tougher and if this was the struggle that they had in round one, what does that show you moving forward? So, I hate credit where it's due. Both the, Sienna, a group and Howard against Duke and Michigan respectively, they cover with without really any issues and shout out to people and we say this all the time, shop around to books, take advantage of promotions and boost. If you're at Bet365, if you're at Fandall, getting paid out for the up 10 promotion. If you play, Sienna, you are on house money already

for the rest of the bracket, brackets are paid for, pools are paid for, you're all set. Man, what a start and what a win for those that took advantage. Apparently, Sienna on the money line first half, Jensen was around 20 to one. They were up 11. Could you imagine having those tickets? I would would not have had the foresight to say, you know what? Let me take Sienna on the money line. First half, that cash with relative ease as they up double digits. So there's 20 to ones cashed as well. You mentioned TCU. That's going to be next up for Duke 11 and a half point favorites here for the dookies in around number two. So we're going to run it back today. We will get the rest and we'll be down to the round of 32 after today's action is done. So wall to wall basketball today. Jensen again, I just as an overview, we'll get breaking down each and every game as we did yesterday in the program. We'll do that again today here in general. We mentioned the high point win. That was a big shock or to some certainly to me that they beat Wisconsin yesterday. VCU. My I'm a moderate coming back from 19 down as an 11 C to beat six seated

UNC. Not a massive upset, but in the manner that it happened, it might have been. Do we think we'll get even more chaos today with double digit seeds? We got three of them now with Texas being the third double digit seed to at least get to the round of 32. Yeah. Okay. So I look to my man Dennis Gates, former head coach here at Cleveland State in Northeast Ohio. Now the head coach of the Missouri group, they're taking on Miami. So it could be a smaller upset if you will a 10 over a seven. I could see that happening today. Santa Clara, I think it's going to be very trendy over big blue there in Kentucky. But for some reason, I think Mark Pope's crew might be able to find their way through. If we're looking for some other big boys, Akron is going to be the one I'm looking for Dave, you know, Texas tech. For whatever reason, people just discount how they looked and even with JT topping out, they've shown some flashes. Will it be enough to take on the zips and get through it? I think those are the ones that certainly stand out selfishly the one for me in my bracket.

I have Northern Iowa over St. John's. That would probably be the shock of today. If Rick Patino's crew and the biggest champs in the Johnny's do not find their way to the round of 32. Very quickly on that front because I do get the feeling that a lot of people like Northern Iowa until they saw that it was St. John's that they'd be playing in the first round. So some people feel like they're still under turd are going to go with that match. Other people believe that because St. John's is under seeded in their eyes as not only the biggest term of champions, but also the regular season champion that it might be. Swicky Ricky. The boys that we're going to wake up tomorrow and go why did we back the dog here? It's all going to be a wrap about Rick Patino and St. John's. Well, that's going to be a very interesting match up later on today. So far, Sanjay Im is leading the final tour stop here in Florida. The four to stop will be done this weekend. Of course, we'll get ready for the Houston Open in Texas. And then we're going to get there to Augusta National. So with that golf calendar, it's starting to speed up as well here. Jensen's sung Jm started off birdie. Eagle birdie on his way to his seven under round as I mentioned here now. Number one,

it does feel like the conditions might get a tougher in this sense of there's no rain forecasted for the weekend. What that means is those greens could really bake out. And so they could be really fast greens. You're going forward. So you're hearing some people in the know engulf saying, hey, maybe 10 under 11 under could win this thing. Jensen, how are we positions? I know my max home ticket is dead. I'm hoping it'll done in McCarthy. The best putter on tour these days. But maybe with Jacob Bridgman, one of your guys, we might be looking at two putters here in Bridgman and McCarthy. And hopefully those guys can hold serve here this weekend. Yeah, also a Matt Fitzpatrick. A nice start for me. Got a top 10 ticket on him at about plus $1.54. You mentioned Bridgman, both top 20 and top 10 tickets. Real who's not today, I actually appreciate. It was is tough sledding for him. You know, these three birdies in the first nine and then a couple of bogies had bogie bogie part to finish his round. So we'd like to see a little momentum from him could be one of those dark horse guys. Only two strokes out of being in the top 20.

So like his positioning there, but you're right. By the way, shout out Vandy boy, Brandt Sennetaker. You want to talk about best putter and Danny McCarthy, best pace on tour. If you are ready for ready golf, Brandt Sennetaker is your guy. 12 30 16 off here, former Vandy boy in second place at the Valsper. And Sun James is now the live betting tournament favorite at plus four 70s Andrew Shelfley, who was the tournament favorite. Second choice there at plus seven 70. There's your guy. Maddie fits at plus 10 50, not too far down the beaten path there. You mentioned this to great foresight. And you don't wish for these things to happen, but you just know as a pitcher that they can happen. And it has happened to tray a savage. It's going to start off the year here on the I L. He's got a shoulder impingement. Jensen, not exactly sure what impingement means. Just sounds painful to me. So how long can we expect this savage can be can be down here? And what do you think this is? The prognosis for the blue jays. If they're favorite to be rookie, the year is going to be on the shelf for a while.

Well, it's the issue and shoulder injuries, even impingements. Never a good thing. Rest and then the rehab and the return to throw. So they will not rush him. He joins a triumvirate. He chained Bieber and Jose Barrios, who will be unavailable for this Toronto rotation. Now, trooper told Dave, look at last year, April and May, the offense was crap. This team was like middling at 500. They were thinking about John Schneider. Is it over? Is it time to move on? And then this is why we respect the marathon of the season. They get hot after the all-star break. They end up winning the American League East and root to getting to the world series. So you can't win the division in April. You can certainly lose it. So they're going to have to tread some water with significant injuries already to big boys in their rotation. Very quickly here. Just want to give out a couple plays for be some pro-subscribers. You're going to have access to this information as well. First strike is out wherever you get your podcast. Me and Rob Marano had Jordan Sherwood on the program from Chicago this week. Great

insight from Jordan as well. I did get home on a couple plays. I am going to go with Sam Patterson. And this is more of a price point play here to plus $1.55. Yes, sometimes that chin is up as Jordan alluded to in the broadcast. But, you know, I'm just not a big believer in Michael Venom Paige's power. I think he can walk through him. And I think he's got two ways to win this. If you can catch MVP here, possibly get a knockout himself or win this fight on the cards. If he can muddy this up, close the distance in the 0-2 in England, I like the price point here for Sam Patterson. Main event. Both guys undefeated and they look like right now with Laurent Murphy and Mazavari Avoyev that somebody's always got to go. And normally what I see here is I've got two way action to get the under at a really good price point at $257 under four and a half rounds. I think Avoyev could take down Murphy to the ground. And that's not somewhere we've seen Murphy be before. And I don't know if he's going to be able to defend off his back. So for that reason, Jensen, I think we might get a stop. It's in if not and in keep the fight standing. Maybe catch Avoyev. And I got two way action here, maybe a knockout for the Murphy side.

And maybe it finished on the ground for the Avoyev side. So plus $257, a really juicy price point here to get those tickets home. Speaking of saving some money here, a really good price point. So if you're filming up at the tank, you might as well get paid to do that. We've got a free upside app that's at your disposal. So right now, just download the app from the App Store or Google Play. And it's something I've never done before to be honest with you. And that is Joe Frieza, our steam producer, had a selected seed tournament for you and I. And so it took some strategy involved in it. Basically you got to pick a number 16 seed 15 so on all the way down the board. We've given out the point system here as the week has gone on. And basically you're going to get 50 points for the winner. 25 points for each national championship team. Final four, lead eight and so on. So there's a point system for each round that you get to. So we're not done obviously with the first round as of yet. But a couple of seeds have already been determined based on the results that we've already had. So I got the jump here with Sienna. Thank you very much. Sienna College. They helped me out. Boy, it would have been massive. They could have held on and got that win and actually got to the next round. But still, they helped me win the 16 seed bracket if you will. And right now I've got a small lead here. But as my junior high basketball coach, Ron Jenkins said, an early lead is a dangerous lead. So I'm up 42 28 on your gents. And that's buoyed by the head to head wins. And those count for

10 points, if our teams happen to go up against us. And I've got 12 teams remaining, and you've got 10, but some of your picks. And you see, I've been knocked out here with Hawaii, Penn, Sienna, and Wisconsin, which I'm the most disappointed about. Didn't really expect some of those 13, 14 or 16 seeds to get through. Obviously, but the Wisconsin Bucky Badger one could come back and bite me with that first round loss. You have had some other teams already knocked out, but you almost did it strategically that you had teams Oppo to make sure that you had another team advance. So there was certainly, I think, a strategy as to why you might have more excess today, but that does not mean that it's going to be a shortcoming in the future. No, the Texas A&M, St. Mary's seeds were strategically picked as well as St. Louis and Georgia. So now no matter what, I'm going to get either Michigan or St. Louis into the sweet 16. Also looking at some of the other regions, I think what's going to be unique about Illinois's

path now against your VCU boys is we may end up having a head to head there just in the bracket. And that's not necessarily in the seed head to head. But that's part of it here too is, you know, Gonzaga. If Gonzaga does not find their way past, you know, the sweet 16th and Illinois does, I'll get that one too. But also predicated off of I had Michigan winning in my bracket, winning the whole thing. I had Iowa State also meeting Michigan the elite eight. So that Midwest region, Dave, could catapult me into a really unique spot here. That if those teams end up matching up, I'm guaranteed to advance so excited to see how the rest of this weekend plays out. I've already wrapped up the 11 seed bracket victory with VCU my homo moder getting through. And that is again, on the heels of that South Florida loss, although South Florida still got us the cover, which was nice. So that would be nice. Now look, I could do my alma mater could help me win this thing and knock out your fight in a line. I

the three seed if VCU is the 11 could pull that off. So again, as you continue in this selective bracket, the points just keep to magnifies. We get to the sweet 16th, the elite eight. And then of course, the final four and beyond. So that could be a very pivotal one. I'm looking at the big board a little bit. And I think if I had my brothers and could do over, because remember, I had I had the honor on the even numbered selections. You had the honor on the odd number selections. I chose Alabama over Arkansas. And I could rue that decision in a couple days here. If Alabama can't win a couple games, because I think you're sitting pretty with Arkansas all of a sudden, especially the way the bracket has started to fold out here with Arkansas being a double digit favorite over high point in the next round. You could be looking at Arkansas potentially as an elite eight dare I say even a final four bid. And that's going to get you a lot of points. If Alabama, I can't match what Arkansas could potentially do. Yeah. So some of the higher seeds that was also

part of my strategy to if you look at a potential, you know, down in the South region, I could have Vanderbilt and Illinois matching up in the elite eight for the right to move on to the final four. Similar idea with Michigan and Iowa State. Arkansas also just just trying to get, you know, footprints in as many of the different regions. I did not want really anything to do with the East state because I don't think anyone could accurately predict. If you give them true serum, that's as difficult a region to predict. So excited to to see on Monday. If there are more axis, if we find some of the Cinderella's the way through to the sweet 16, but either way, a lot of fun to do did what to bring up some survivor ideas because I know and shout out again. I don't know if it was the ground swell from everyone tuning in to buy the books each and every day and yesterday trying to get your last minute bracket picks and maybe some some bettable plays in

the round of 64. We got over the threshold for the splashboards pool. Congratulations to everyone there at Veson as well as all those participants. We hit that quota we were looking for. If you survived yesterday, Dave, I made that last minute switch between St. Mary's to TCU. Very fortunate that I did that. So on to day two and I will tell you from looking through, there is going to be a lot of popularity on the Kansas J. Hawks today. I would say again back to that East region. When you look at that potential round of 32 and if it is St. John's getting through, I think a lot of people like the Johnny's to make it to the sweet 16. So that's why you're seeing Kansas with really a lot of support for people and I would tend to want to stay away and still kind of zig when others are zagging at this point. I'll tell you a lower seed and one that you have a future on. You mention

it in kind of your mid to longer shots. UCLA might be a way to differentiate yourself from the field and just remember that's a that's a stout UCF team that they're going to go up against. But remember the second round matchup should you can take care of business is with the Huskies and that might be again back to the idea if you want to pick a team that you feel is going to lose immediately in their next game played. So I think UCLA, if you are in Survivor Pools, Dave, where tie breakers at the end are the sum of the seeds that you've selected. Very nice to get a seven across if you're looking to differentiate from the field. I would say in that lower threshold, UCLA is a seven Missouri as a 10 would also be one that again, you're going to take a little more risk. But if you're looking to try and get through with with teams that are probably not going to have a lot of future value, those are some higher seeded teams that I think that might be good ways to go. UCLA, by the way, it's down to five and a half against UCF. UCF is one of the oldest

teams here, you know, in this day and age of NIL and transfer portals and all that. So they've got some kind of senior citizens in college basketball parlance here on the floor. And we know the micron in there. This game isn't Philadelphia. I believe they're two and six in central and East Coast time zones. So micron is kind of put it out there in the ether. They don't like some of these early starts. Well, they're going to have to face one of those at least earlier or at least on the East Coast, but it's a little bit later in the day today. So it shouldn't be that too big a problem here in the body clock for UCLA. I do like them today. I don't know if they're going to cover that number. I do think it'll be a tight game, but I think that's a good strategy. Jensen is sometimes kind of zig where others are zagging. If you're again, and you know, Gil Alexander talks all about this in survivor for the NFL at circa is you're trying to win. You're not really trying to survive. You're trying to win. So I know people are going to go wait a minute. You got to in order to win. You got to survive. Yes. But you want to make sure if you just tread and water eventually, that strategy is going to wear out. You're going to have to take some bold moves. And maybe that would be a bolder one today. Go with UCLA. If you don't think that they're going to make a deep run

in the sense, he double determined, you mentioned Kansas today. And you know, we mentioned a cuff at Arkansas, whether he's the singer or best player here, Peterson, it Kansas might have that distinction as well. Where are we on them? Because they have other health concerns, not just Peterson, whether he's going to play it or not. And it just feels like with this Kansas team, if they could ever get their full complement of guys out there. And I'm sure other teams are going crime me or river Kansas. But if they did, we know why they were up there with Purdue as preseason number one, Kansas preseason top five. Like could we be getting as a foreseed some value here? The 14 point favorites today against Cal Baptist. I'd be laying the points. I think that you're not going to get resistance today. I think you get resistance in the round of 32 and more to your idea of, okay, where do we feel that their runway ends? Again, I am really intrigued by Northern Iowa against the Johnny's. I think that that pace, the molasses of pace offensively could really upset the

Johnny's tempo. But Kansas, man, they should have no problems today with Cal Baptist. And by the way, in our select to see tournament, Jensen, you already wrapped up the five C with your alma mater Vanderbilt. And ironically, I wrap up the 11 C with my alma mater VCU. So our boys did not let us down in our respective brackets there. Juice Reel, they're not going to let you down. They're going to link all of your sports book accounts. All of the terms and conditions back alongside Jensen Lewis Dave Ross here with you as we start to preview the Friday slide here in earnest taking a look at some of these numbers and some of these games and you know you mentioned I thought it was good point to an hour number one about Saint Mary's in that when you look at the WCC with three bids. Remember two auto bids or excuse me one auto bid for Gonzaga winning the conference tournament. And then the at large bids did go to Saint Mary's and Santa Clara. Santa Clara is going to be taking on big blue nation

today in Kentucky. Now I don't want to throw in you know throw the baby out with the bath water however they got that expression and say all right because of what Saint Mary has done the transit of property will then now transfer over to Santa Clara. But I do wonder do we start to worry because the ACC hasn't exactly got off on the good foot so far Duke struggling. We've seen you know some other schools in similar conferences that you go you know Louisville struggle but they got the one like do we do that now with Santa Clara against Kentucky because of what happened to St. Mary's or we can can we put those schools in a vacuum and say no let's not do that here with Santa Clara because St. Mary's laid it laid an egg yesterday. Well listen Santa Clara can make shots and we said a three bid league out of WCC would not surprise us the way that Santa Clara finished that tournament they were very respectable. When you look at and great job again shut out our our visa.com staff every single round of 64 game has a preview for it and I want to harp on

the last couple of paragraphs of this particular match up. Herb Sendeck's offense there for Santa Clara. They are a borderline top 15 team and adjusted offensive efficiency powered by 20.1 percent turnover rate that helped them crack the top 80 and adjusted defense defensive efficiency a top 20 offensive rebounding percentage and an ability to make shots at a high rate top 50 in two point percentage all season. Okay what does all that mean? They have a strength there that goes up against a real strength in Kentucky. Kentucky can lock down when they need to I think they need to be much better about possessions and not turning the ball over in their own right. Dave that got me to an under at an elevated total. I played the under 160 and a half minus a dollar 35 that total is now down to 157 in a lot of spots. I just would look at where strength on strength

is going to get me to Kentucky's athleticism member. I said I I have Kentucky is slightly as a favorite here. It won't shock me if this comes down to the final possession. I do think that Santa Clara though enough offensive firepower to make this one very very interesting. So I agree with where the line is, but I think we get a little bit more offensive limitations with where Kentucky can really be athletic on the perimeter. And if Santa Clara has a little slow start, I think our under is very much in play. Another game, by the way, that's the first game on the board today here. We'll be watching here with the boys here. The mint gaming hall. Very excited for that. And again, this is the first foray for March Madness here at the mint gaming hall. It's here if you're in the area, come on over and say hi today. It's going to be a lot of fun. The excitement of watching all these games. That's going to go in about three and a half hours right now for that first tip of the day. The second game on the on the docket is the Akron Zips taking on Texas tech guns up in love it. But here's the interesting thing about TJ Toppen that we talk about a lot

with his absence here for the red raiders. Yeah, of course, we all knew he was the leading score on that team. But just I think people have forgotten he was also the leading rebounder north of 11 boards per game for Texas tech. So you're not just losing, you know, wasn't necessarily a one dimensional player. This was a kind of did everything for the red raiders. I mentioned that I do think they're well coached Texas tech. But I do feel like Akron, I don't want to say feels very public because again, we talked about this in context with Miami of Ohio sometimes being public doesn't mean it's the wrong side. But the Zips getting eight today, do you think that that that numbers come down because of the Texas tech not having TJ Toppen or is it really an affinity that they actually leave Akron can really give a puncher's chance today? Yeah, they've got a puncher's chance, my friend. And if you're ready for a track meet, let's go. The efficiency profile is our our friends and our colleagues at visa.com. Right. Top 10 offense and expected field goal percentage top 15 in both two point percentage and three point percentage. You look at the

shorthand in this of Texas tech. Of course, no JT Toppen, but it's the guard play that's going to have to come up very big for them. Here's the thing. Dave, if you like some threes, you're going to get some and Akron has had a real tough time defending the perimeter. So I would expect to track me that got me to an over on this game over 155 and a half at minus a dollar 15 seeing it up to 156 in some places. So I like a high scoring game. Two offenses that can get up and down the court. Long Island is a long shot. That is for sure getting about 30 and a half today in a 16 one match up here against Arizona. And you know, again, Sienna probably is the blueprint to say we shouldn't just kind of chalk these up as auto wins at least not auto covers because Duke never even close to covering surviving basically just to win the game. And Michigan really struggled never really were inside with the potential to cover against against Howard yesterday. What do we make Arizona because Tommy Lloyd. I'm sure he knows or you kind of hear the stigma of coaching in a big time

tournament like this. We don't expect this to be in the balance today. But do you really want to wait 30 and a half with Arizona? Absolutely. Oh my God. The battle of the ice teas. Are you a long Island ice tea in Arizona ice tea? I mean, come on. This is I don't expect the long island sharks to be one of those up 10 promo plays for people. I'll be at it 70 to one. You know, might be might be attractive to some. I just I do not see that that this gets really anywhere in favor of long Island to cover the number. I actually really do like the under here Dave. 151 and a half is the number that I got. It's down the 148 and a half in some spots. So I think that's still playable. I don't know if you want to go much further than that. But I think there's an ability here for Arizona to absolutely overwhelm a team in Long Island that is just not going to have the firepower. So I don't think we overthink it. I'm comfortable laying the spread. Maybe no

further than 31. But this one should be a real interior. I mean, overwhelming. I mean, Arizona's big should have their day. They're elite defensively. This one should never be in doubt. Oh, we talked to Thomas Gabel in the last hour wherever you get your podcasts. Like, subscribe to these and buy the books. We'd appreciate that and you can listen to that conversation. I found it interesting that he mentioned that Wright State has been taking some money here against Virginia. And again, I got some some Wahoo's coming up here. They're on their way right now to get an early bird jump here for their Cavaliers against Wright State today. So I'd like to see my boys happy, but they're laying 18 and a half in this matchup. We mentioned how the ACC kind of underwhelming to begin this NCAA tournament. Kind of like we talked about in context with Santa Clara and St. Mary's that should not be a referendum on the rest of the teams that haven't played yet from your conference. But should we be a little bit nervous if we're on the side of the Cavaliers today? I think you can. And it won't shock me because, you know,

the champions of the horizon league in Wright State. Their offense is legit. And they'll be right there. If they need to battle inside, they can do it. If they got a shoot from the perimeter, they can do it. Top 60 and expected field goal percentage and three point percentage, Dave. So Virginia still a team that likes to shoot from the perimeter. If they're not hitting, oh boy. Oh boy. This one could be very tight. This has the feel of high point Wisconsin. For whatever reason, it feels like the shopmaking is there for Wright State. It's got a little feel to that upset that we saw yesterday. All right. For my boys, I hope that's not the case, Jensen, because I don't need these guys frazzled on day one here of our our john to NCAA tournament land here in the national area. Very quickly, after day one, now that it's in the books, is there any teams perception positively or negatively that has changed the most for you as those teams that have at least gotten to the round of 32?

I think by default, everyone was on South Florida. I was included. And Louis, even though they didn't cover it, most of that game they handled, yes, turnovers at the end would have you. That would lean me more to feeling bullish on Michigan state for that lineup and how they can beat you inside and out. I would say that I look at at St. Louis mentioned, I think they could provide some issues against Michigan. I mean, you have to say Nebraska haven't won a tournament game. They end up going away. They hit threes from every point in the court. So I think that is the one tomorrow night 845 Eastern tip time vandy Nebraska. Wow. What a battle that one's going to be. I got to tell you, I wish I had paid more attention and took heed to Arkansas in the warning, because now when I look at them after day one, and not because of the victory, because they get high point next, they could be in a showdown with Arizona in that sweet 16. And all of a sudden, Arkansas, John Calibary, they might be where we thought they might have been this time last year,

looking pretty good this year. But let's break down some more games here. What's on the docket for today? That's next right here on piece of other books. And then bam over the weekend by the time you and I talk again Jensen on Monday will be down to 16 in the blink of an eye so looking at some other games here and again Tennessee state against Iowa state. I think we would believe that 15 is not going to be or two would be in jeopardy of losing a 15 here with Iowa State. This is an interesting team. I don't know that I'm fully there with Iowa State who was and did have a track to be maybe potentially a number one seed in this tournament. But they're going to have to settle for that number two twenty four and a half point favorites over the Tigers of Tennessee state today. Where are you on the cyclones big picture because I don't know that I trust them to make a super deep run in this tournament others have them all the way to their final fours. I do trust them again they were a one seed line at one point this year and I know they had a couple of debilitating losses that you kind of scratched your head about and you're am I really buying into them. I would buy into the under actually in this matchup with Tennessee

state and again a little afternoon tip time here at the Enterprise Center. Remember Ohio's Iowa State really good at generating turnovers Tennessee state has actually been pretty solid at being able to protect their possessions. I think that's kind of where I fall is that I would think this is kind of a tough you know ability for the Tigers to be able to shoot from the perimeter. I think they are going to have some check and second half chances with their offensive rebounding. But I just think the physicality and the skill set of Iowa State makes too much said I don't know if I want any part of the spread here Dave but I certainly am going to get to an under here. I played under 149 and a half seeing it down to 148 so that's my official play for Tennessee State and Iowa State. It was interesting because we had a great conversation go back again. Listen, listen, listen on your time here to the Visa by the Bliss podcast with Tim Doyle

at the beginning of the week and I asked him if you gave him the one and two seeds and you'd be done with it versus the rest of the field. I mean I would stay clearly in that that two seed line here if you really think they're good enough to cut down the nets. I don't know if I'm there as far as those two seeds that I trust could I think I trust Houston more on that two seed line but I do get a chance and some of those scratch your head moments with the cyclones team. I don't think to your point that they'll be in jeopardy here of being knocked out early. I just don't know how deep a run they can actually make Alabama is the ultimate head scratcher and again Aiden Holloway unless I've missed something in the last 24 hours. He's not going to be suiting up anymore for Alabama in this tournament. Second leading score is out with some serious off the court issues they're going to keep him off that team and out of this tournament so they're going to take on the Hofstra pride here in a 413 matchup. I do think that people will look at this and go man Bama you talk about a team you don't trust this is a team we don't trust Hofstra getting 11 and a half could they really make it dicey for eight oats and company in their first four rated

of this iteration of March Madness. I mean they certainly could but it doesn't feel like they have the size that Alabama does and I think that's where I get to looking at Alabama and I would believe that they're probably going to be decently popular albeit if you look at survivor right now David and if I'm just going off of projected popularity. Alabama is actually in single digits and a lot of that predicated off of not only the ability to get out of round one here in the round of 64 but I mean let's say acronym sets Texas tech I think a lot of people would look at Bama to be able to get to the sweet 16 it should Texas tech win then maybe you make Alabama a slight favorite and people might still want to have Alabama alive. I would I would say that's a great pivot if you wanted a little bit of a higher seed and as far as you know being closer to a one without getting into those top those top couple of rungs. Alabama is actually not a bad pivot now that I'm kind of

looking and seeing where potential future value is if you don't want anything to do with cider total here and you're in survivor I wouldn't mind I wouldn't mind the crimson tide here to get through and and and maybe maybe you do you know catch them napping there in the round of 32 and they just don't have what it takes without a knowledge. Something tells me we're still going to be talking about NATO it's on Monday I don't know that that's going to be the case but something tells me that they might be I don't want to say okay with that Aiden Hawley but I do feel like sometimes you know this Jensen when the public doesn't necessarily know about a player on the inside you do and not to say good riddance but sometimes you can be better with less I wonder if that's going to be the case that death will be a problem without your second leading school or certainly that is not optimal here to make a super deep run in this tournament but I do think of the short term Alabama might be would have been better off than people suspect nine eight matchup is Utah State against Villa Nova this is not I don't think Ed Pickney and Gary McClean and those type of guys are probably

Massimino back in 85 winning the national chip chip or even Jay rights boys from not that long ago program is not the same they're actually two point dogs to the Aggies of Utah State do you think that the odds makers have that one set correctly I don't have a great feel on on this one a full disclosure I believe I had Villa Nova in my bracket but I I could make an argument for either side here this gives me very much at least beforehand St. Louis and Georgia vibes and then obviously we saw Georgia be a no-show last night late so I'll defer to you man I don't think I've got a really strong take and I think if I'm just looking at some of where the market has moved and if you want just a little idea of some of the money there this has been pretty stagnant maybe a little bit in favor of Utah State they opened it one and a half you're up to two maybe the total day but it's kind of fluctuated it opened 147 and a half it was down to 146 and a half

it's back up to 147 147 to half in some spots so this is probably a full stay away from me and just kind of be a fan this was a Utah State pick for me and this is we talk about engulf terms all the time right sometimes I'm going to look the head head matchups engulf and I'm going to fade a golfer versus a play on somebody else this is a play against Villanova so that's why I'm going to follow that line movement here on the Aggie side and I do think that the rightful play today and with all due respect to the Big East and I love that old conference it does not feel like this is the best iteration of the Big East right now so you know maybe a week three from the Big East I'm going to play the Aggies here in this spot here and I've done that in most of my pools so Utah State is the official play for me a play against the Villanova Wildcats Tennessee against Miamiville Hio now I during the break you said something that was very interesting we'll get to that here in a second I do feel like you can make a case that Miamiville Hio is the best

story in college basketball if you're looking just from a story perspective I never thought we'd be talking about Miamiville Hio as much as we did in the regular season to have an undefeated regular season and then the consternation losing in the first round of UMass should they even get into the tournament then they get in and they go great in running SMU at a Dayton and they're kind of a really fun team to watch if you haven't paid attention to the Redox this year Jensen I think you make that case I think Rick Barnes with his poor tournament history is going to get a lot of people to the Miamiville Hio side here taking the 11 but maybe not you what do you see in this one? Yeah I've learned my lesson no longer betting any unders whatsoever that involve a Mac team because they play absolutely no defense and I would absolutely look to lay the points with Tennessee I actually jumped in on them at ten and a half and played that at a dollar 20 on hard rock I'm telling you if Miami has this shooting efficiency that they had in the first four fine I'll go down

swinging but they've never seen the physicality and the defensive pressure they're about to get from Rocky Topp so I know the prevailing sentiment the history for Rick Barnes ATS is what it is I defy that I always hate betting on Tennessee because we hate them as Vanderbilt Commodores but today respect my money Tennessee and do what you're capable of doing and let's put this Miami story to bed Tennessee minus ten and a half to cover against the Redhawks you know that's interesting because if Virginia gets by right state today giving truth serum to my friends here coming in 10 to watch this game who would they rather play and you would say of course you'd rather play the higher seed or the longer seed if you will Miami of Ohio but you would think that would be the team you want to play but Jensen I don't know that that's the case I really don't know that that's the case like if Miami of Ohio somehow wins this game against the balls and I mentioned it with Andy Enfield and SMU they threw multiple defenses at that team and they couldn't figure them out right they played man in the first half that didn't work out down nine they switched to his zone

it worked early and then you felt like Miami of Ohio figured that out started doing some rim runs rim runs and uh back door cuts and getting to the rim there so I don't know what the best way to play this team is it's going to be fascinating with a traditional really good defense and Rick Barnes against one of the prettiest offences you're going to see we'll see if we see it past today with Miami of Ohio all right let's continue it here in hour number three breaking down every single game in round number one here of the NCAA tournament it's all straight ahead on these about the book the new LinkedIn Hiring Pro can't undo your last hire the empty seat who is actually just that an empty chair in your office because you couldn't find someone to fill it so it's just that they're costing you money with all its fancy ergonomic features but LinkedIn Hiring Pro can make it easy to fill that seat with the right candidate with nearly 60% of businesses finding someone to interview in the first week alone hire right the first time with LinkedIn Hiring Pro post a free job today at linkton.com slash
