Here's a shift worth noting. Better health care is care that meets patients where they are. United Health Group is bringing it directly to living rooms. This is a win for patients managing chronic conditions. And here's the interesting thing. By closing those care gaps, administering in-home exams and identifying risks earlier, more diseases can be prevented and patient outcomes can improve. In 2025 alone, United Health Group patients received over 19 million home visits. Learn more at unitedhealthgroup.com slash commitment. Good job, go back, watch, listen, listen. Wherever you get your podcast here to be some by the books and you can check out the section there of the Washington Nationals. We'll do that with the Boston Red Sox coming up a little bit later on in this program. Modern news, certainly in the NFL in college basketball and the PGA tour. Let's get to all that right now with our highlights and headlines. I think the Colts are hoping that Danny Dimes is going to have a good help because if he does, Danny Millions would be apropos. Two years, $88 million from the guy that was on the scrap people of the NFL. Oh, just about a year ago, Jensen and then a year later, even with the injuries. He gets a pretty sweet deal here. The Colts, Alec Pierce and not Daniel Jones. Some would say they overpaid to keep their own guys. But they kept their big too and that's going to be a good look or a big part

of the Colts office this year. Just wanted to look and see. So Daniel Jones eclipsing Matthew Stafford on average annual value just by $2 million, $4 million total there in total. That's a couple of million. It's, it is unique though. And I'll harken back to to what I set off the top of the program for those just joining us. You can't discount with a healthy Daniel Jones, what happened in the first half of the Colts season. And I think that's what this leadership and this ownership group are banking on. Plus Dave, I don't think they would hand this out. If they didn't feel confident on the rehab timeline and knowing that a return due is close to 100% if not 100% dance with the devil. You know, I think they felt much more comfortable. And let's be honest, Dave, we've been in plenty of locker rooms. I've been teammates with lots of guys. When you rally around someone who inspires you and that was the case. This past year loved what those guys were talking about. What they wanted to do for him, you need that.

And I think that is well worth the money. I'm sure in the Colts front office is mine of why you go bring him back with that contract. Well said. I think that's one of the biggest misnomers. And you know, a better than most is that athletes, once they get contracts, they really don't care. They want to be led. They want to be inspired. The money be damned at that point. Maybe Daniel Jones is that right guy in the Napa 71 before he got injured last year. One of the very best teams in all the NFL until that injury. I think if you ask 10 people about Kyle Murray, you might get 10, 10 different opinions. He is, he is a very polarizing figure certainly in the NFL. But we've been saying it that he's going to have a market out there. And it feels like the Vikings right now are the leader in the clubhouse, potentially to get a deal done as soon as today is going to meet with KOC in the brass there in Minnesota. Jensen, I don't know if it's a move that I would make, but I'm not a GM. I'm not a head coach. It doesn't matter what you and I would do. It only matters what the teams will do. So you can hate on Kyle Murray. All you want if you want out there, people I understand it. But it does look like he's going to get a home and a new one relatively soon.

Checking some of the prediction markets, Dave, as we've moved overnight, it looks like Kyle Murray upwards of a 71% chance to have Minnesota be his next team. The irony of the, if you had to get wild guests, if you had to guess through the second team, at least in the sweepstakes and the percentages, the Rams are actually second to 10%, which I find just fascinating knowing the Matthew Stafford timetable here. So yeah, it looks like at least on the prediction market standpoint, a Minnesota, yes, and the overwhelming favorite for Kyle Murray's next destination. Yeah, some things I heard about that, particularly take there for the Rams being the second betting choice, is that Tyler and his people are obviously getting Minnesota as a spot they could maybe start right now. And if that doesn't work out, where could I go and wait a year, wink, and then potentially be the starter next year. And that could be in LA if that works out.

Interesting that you'd want to go be a backup when there still are potential starting spots open. Maybe it's just Minnesota. And we'll find out if other teams do come calling if it doesn't work out with the Vikings today, we'll keep in an eye and ear and what's going on there in Minneapolis. Team USA, we are so back, baby, come on. Don't worry about it, Mark Dorosa. Don't worry about the rules. We're in. Thank you, Italy, beating Mexico yesterday. So Team USA does advance going to take on Canada. And now, Jensen, I wonder if the boys do feel like there's kind of a new recent life in the WBC. They'd better be because that's a moray for you Italian lovers out there. My God. What a performance from Aaron Nola. We joked the Lunguidi arm of Aaron Nola was what was holding the hope for Team USA. And it didn't matter because it was Vinnie Pasquantino with a pool play, home run barrage to remember a lot of power from team Italy. You and I need to get whatever that espresso is that they've gotten a dugout there. It might be a shameless plug for

what's upcoming and stock up, stock down. But hey, we're in. And yes, it sets the stage, Dave, for a rematch with a nation, we have some history with. Oh, not so long ago, I gave it out before pool play started. Canada had even money to make the quarter final cash that ticket. And then if you took any of the 50 to one to win it all, you're sitting on a, I'm not saying this is a miracle scenario where you've got college kids against professionals because Canada is going to come with it. You are going to be in for a treat tomorrow night in Houston, Texas cannot wait to see that one happen. We are back to where we should be with the betting favorites here, US of a plus a dollar 40 here, Jensen Dominican Republic. Now sweats to the second betting choice. Japan. And this was interesting very quickly. They're plus four 50. They're about three to one before the tournament started. And yet they drifted. Does that surprise you that Japan's drifted a little bit in the marketplace? No, I don't think so. And boy, they could not have gotten a worse draw,

man. Venezuela, they were nine to one to win it all before. And Ranger Suarez is going to get the ball there against Yoshi Yamamoto. So again, think about the potential. And if the chalk were to hold the US and the Dominican could match up for the right to go to the final there, it is Puerto Rico too. And Italy is going to be a force to be record. We could not have had a better set up here for the drama and the intrigue that all begins there tomorrow night. Very interesting to see these price points here, but we are back to being the betting favorite. Punch those tickets. If you're a McLeese, if you're Lehigh, if you're Idaho, they get it done in the big sky, the Patriot League and the Southland respectively here, Jensen again, you kind of look at it and say, I don't know that I'll be looking at these teams next week, but these kids are going to be excited. They know they've got their one shot. That's why they do one shining moment. So I wonder if any of these big dogs will be barking in about a week. And it'd be so fun to see some of these great stories. A couple of few bets that I was able to get across the line yesterday. McNeese and the money line never a doubt. They beat a really good

Stephen F. Austin team Idaho late night for you. Staying up twilight on the East Coast. They get it done the vandals all the way through and Lehigh over Boston is such a unique part of that tournament where you're playing in the home gyms there. It is kind of cool to see. They take out a Boston university team who I actually thought was pretty live as a lower seeded club to be able to win that tournament. But other way, either way, more of those mid majors punch today and we get some of the other big boys starting in action in the high majors today as well. We know the the crown jewel of the PGA tour is underway. By the way, Max Homa out early here to under he eagles the first hole that he sees out there. So Max Homa is your rabbit early here. Just one hole in, but they have begun play here at the players championship. If you don't know who Brian roll app is. Well, normally this time of the year when you get to the PGA to the to the to the players championship rather on the PGA tour, it's kind of like their Roger Goodell state of the union on Super Bowl week. And that's what they're doing right now in golf. And Brian roll app

comes over from the NFL model and now is the new PGA tour CEO Jaymont hand still the commissioner, but Brian, Brian roll app now really is the guy in charge. So he held his first one of those type of state of the unions. Here's what Brian had to say about maybe the new book and the new changes coming to the PGA tour. It comes back to what I talked about scarcity. I think there's a bit of a misconception that scarcity means a dramatic cut in the number of events of the PGA tour as we know it. As I said in my remarks, scarcity is about making the events we have matter more. So I think there will be a place for most of our events in our new model. Well, you'll see in the model, it's more of a rationalization of the competition to make those events more, more meaningful. And what he was getting at, he specifically, specifically mentioned Arthur Blank that he's taking input from and obviously these people are investors here in the PGA tour.

European soccer model that we might have regulation here, a relegation rather coming to the PGA tour and that there could basically be Jensen almost like two tours where it's going to be the elevated events. Now they're going to make these instead of say 80 80 players. He wants to make these about 120 players, but unlike the field this week, we're getting north of 140. He's going to shorten that up. So the rich, make it richer. What would it be elongated in these elevated events? But he, he wants to make this more of a football model. And if you're not good enough, you're going to get cut to the B Lee, if you will. So maybe some of these smaller tournaments go away, but he definitely has an NFL model that he wants to bring to golf. This is not a lifelong golf guy. This is a sports guy coming in to try to fix the PGA tour. What was your sense here early in the Brian Rolap era? I think that it bargains back to where you and I joke about, Hey, do we, did we know when baseball season started? It just kind of got here. Same with golf, right? If you're not in the West Coast, if you're not kind of in tune. And I think he understands,

I mean, there is absolute crescendo to that Thursday opening game. It'll be a Wednesday this year in Australia. There is an absolute pop and circumstance. And so why not make that NASCAR? Does it's their biggest event? It's the kickoff to their season. It's the Daytona 500. I think there is a sense of not only bringing added exposure, but really creating a crescendo around the sport, find a jewel event, find something that everyone can sink their deep into. I think people are going to be excited about this new era of the PGA tour. The aromas are the, that could be at the players, the people's championship, if you will, there at the Phoenix Open. The kick started here the week before the Super Bowl as the rollout. Great analogy there with NASCAR. You will save money at the pump. We had a great conversation with our steam producer Joe Frieso in the during the break here.

And do we owe Mark DeRosa an apology for everybody that clowned DeRosa for not knowing the rules for the WBC in his defense and his mock defense. It is it is confusing as to know exactly how the pool plays were we're going to be laid out. Look, you should still know that if you're the manager here of Team USA, that is first and foremost here. But now that we move on and USA does advance last night with Italy's victory over Mexico. And I think that's where the confusion started to sit in. If it had an earlier that maybe we didn't put our best foot forward against Italy thinking in Mark DeRosa's eyes, that we had already moved on. And we're going to be okay. When lose your draw and then we find out that is not the case. This is still a new thing, right? Relatively new thing with the WBC. So Jensen, is there room to kind of make the rules a little simpler here? So it's not convoluted like what is a catch in the NFL? I think the only issue would have been the tie breaking scenarios where you have,

you know, earned runs over outs recorded things. I mean, there was still a situation watching, you know, the Italy and Mexico game last night that if it went to extra innings, the US could still be in peril, even though Italy had scored the five necessary runs for how those tie breaking procedures were. So, hey, all small that ends well, doesn't matter. That's a more a for you Italian Americans, American Italians, everyone to look at it. Okay, knock out round matchups are set. And for those not familiar with how it all works, we get the quarterfinals underway tomorrow, three PM Eastern first pitch, that's Puerto Rico and Italy, Italy undefeated in pool B play. They are the pool winner. They get to draw the Puerto Rican team who actually advanced, but finished second to team Canada, a remarkable run for that group and a lot of familiar bigleaguers on that team, most notably the Naylor brothers, Josh Naylor and Bo Naylor. They've got a lot of guys that

have had great starts to their year. And remember, it's still spring training for everybody, but that will be the the first quarter final underway. Then it is going to be a really intriguing one with Korea and the Dominican Republic. Tomorrow is going to be fascinating because the Dominican and Adam Bert told us yesterday, I mean, it's going to be the scariest lineup you've seen. And I would agree that it is a bit scarier than than where the United States are. They go undefeated in pool play. If you did not see the atmosphere at Marlon's Park yesterday for the Dominican Republican Venezuela, Holy hell, it felt like something that you could only dream up with how amazingly passionate those fan bases are. The bat flip from Fernando Tati's junior, I mean, it is just the flair that these Latin American teams play with and it is a lot of fun to watch. So the DR, they are going to be one of those favorites to to be

able to get into the semifinals. That would earn them a date with the winner of team Japan and Venezuela. And that is a dandy right now on paper, Dave. It's Yoshi Yamamoto who will get the start for Japan and then Ranger Suarez who would just come over in a free agent deal. The Boston Red Sox will get his second outing for team Venezuela. I can imagine that that one might be a pitcher's duel. There's a lot of depth on both sides as far as the arms go there. I do think Japan finds a way to get past Venezuela in a really well played game. That sets the stage. Now for the United States against team Canada. And yes, just a few weeks ago, it was the rekindling of one of the most hated rivalries in North American sports. If not the entire hockey world team USA, the golden goal from Jack Hughes to win in the Olympics. I don't know if it will have that kind of consequential feel, but there will be an elevated element of motivation for team Canada just because of what has

transpired in these handful of weeks. They've heard all about it. They are probably being told the same thing that you said, Hey, if US new lease on life, they're in good shape. It would make the year. And I think it would make maybe the sports calendar at this point. If team Canada somehow some way finds a way to shock team USA. Now, I don't believe we have Mark DeRosa, whose name to starter yet 14 USA, but that is going to be in prime time on Friday night cannot wait to see what this will look like. Expect to sell outhouse, expect a lot of emotion, but I think you will have the focus of team USA from pitch number one knowing that they had a little luck on their side to get to this point. If you're listening, we appreciate everybody that listens and watches to us here. If you're watching on Fando Sports Network, we're going to make jokes Canada. They're just jokes, okay, about maple syrup and everything else and mooses and whatever. This is just what we do when we play sports against you guys. All right, nothing personal. We are eight dollar betting favorites against Canada, eight dollar betting favorites here,

Jensen. I don't know without knowing the starter that I want to lay eight dollars in anything, but because again, you got to think that the Canadians here at plus five dollars years, what I'm seeing in the marketplace, that this is their Super Bowl right here for the WBC if they could beat us. That wouldn't mean a whole lot on the heels of the Olympics. Let me ask you this about perception. And sometimes I always say like you should know whether it's the reality or not, what the perception of you is. And I think our perception is that we're not only with the Yankees, you know, we're the Yankees here for the United States, but are we the quote unquote Yankees that the corporate type, the button ups, you can't have a beard and you got to be everything's tight left. And you mentioned all these countries like the DR and Venezuelan, Puerto Rico, and they're all having fun. They're bat flipping. Do they look at us as the United States as the buttoned up baseball guys? Is that our, is that the real perception that the other countries, how they view the United States? But he this goes way back to when you're a kid and your taught sportsmanship,

or at least they used to teach that. I don't know if they do that in youth sports anymore. This is just a way of life. And it is that as much as soccer or football around this world is the number one sport in Latin America, man. I mean, you, you play tape ball. You find a stick like it, you are born with it. You are born with the fever. This is the way you do business. There are towns, there are countries that shut down for these games. Day, I say for anyone that wants to take a vacation in the winter time, if you're in a cold state, you want to go down to the Dominican, you want to go to Puerto Rico, you want to see winter ball. I've had former teammates that have come back and said, it is unlike anything you will ever experience. It is a party. Imagine NFL Sundays, Dave, where they tailgate at 7 a.m. That is what it's like in Latin America for baseball. That is the fever they have. That is the fervor. And we will have our hands full, even with team

Canada, because if you think about where their roster is, and really how well I think they've been able to swing the bat, a couple of names to keep an eye on here. Oh, and Casey, one of the big prospects from the Cubs that was traded in that deal with the Marlins, and we'll preview the Miami Marlins coming up tomorrow. He has actually been arguably their best bat right now, leads the team in RBI with five. He's hitting a cool 500 Abraham Torell, if you remember some time with Houston Astros and the Seattle Mariners, they're big bats really have kind of yet to get going. Josh Naylor right now just four for 16 hitting 250. Bonaylor has been okay, but it's going to be about the pitching. We know that you're going to have to find ways to be able to limit this team USI lineup, but you're going to get Dave. You mentioned kind of their Super Bowl. This is their world series. You saw what just happened with the Blue Jays. They would love nothing more than to feel euphoria of knocking off the United States in our sport. That's the thing. This is our sport.

Team Canada wants nothing more than to absolutely embarrass us, embarrass us on our home soil and to do it in our own backyard. They will come with a fight that you haven't seen from a team like that in quite some time. You know, my buddy Brandon Gyar play down there and he told me, I'll never forget the stories coming back saying to me, DR, you've never experienced, you can't even imagine exactly what you're talking about, Jensen, the passion that is played down in some of these countries. We are going to have our hands full here, whether it's with Canada or moving on because there is a different level. Look, I'm not saying we're not passionate. We are. And like, you know, you see with Aaron judge, some of the emotion that you know, we don't see, you see with the saluting. So maybe we express it differently. So maybe the perception is not reality, but that is the way we looked. We're we're the kind of the button up guys and some of these other guys are out there seemingly, quote unquote, having more fun. Well, that translate to the winter circle. We shall find out how about our buddies over at sharp plays. They were founded back in 2011. Ah he eagled his first hole the the 10th hole out there starting off on the back nine and then birdie the par 5 11 so 300 through two. Gents and could I interest you in Max Homa live 14 to

one to be first round leader with some guy named Scotty Shefford who hasn't teed off yet and Max is spotting you three to the field. Wow. Here we go. We talked about the early early tea time today. Calm, you know, elements trying to take advantage. We'll see what happens and by early tea time we mean guys going off before 10 a.m. We'll see if the weather impacts any of the later round guys as well. I'd really like one of my guys to get off to good start. That would be Michael Thorough Bjornson even par through two. Let's go Michael. Go Patriots. Speaking of the NFL because Michael Thorough Bjornson is a Patriot fan as we go aren't here on Vison by the books before the Super Bowl. I'm going to talk about the Denver Broncos the team they beat to get to the Super Bowl here. The Patriots did and that's where we're going to begin today's edition of the daily grid iron. This is the daily grid iron.

What did what was the song? It was all a dream. I kind of looked back and go 14 and three was that reality for the Broncos? Was it really just a dream here, Jensen? I mean, it felt like outside of Jared's did them. I didn't think played terribly in the title game here, but maybe if Bo Nix doesn't go down, this could have been a Super Bowl team and dare we say who knows what would have happened had they gotten to the Super Bowl. But when you lose the AFC title game, just a couple years into the Sean Payton regime, if you will, it's got to feel like man, does feel like the future right now looks really bright in Denver. What do you see this year as we get ready for the April draft next month? Yeah, we've had a pretty aggressive off-season so far, right? I remember George Patton, the GM and not the Pat and you're thinking of from the movies in real life, but I would say it's been aggressive just on the moves so far. And when you think about the coaching staff, remind me was Pete Carmichael who was the OC who left said to go to

Buffalo now and it would be Davis Webb promoted to do the play calling duties in Denver. So we've got just a little bit of change internally. They do keep what Vance Joseph instead of him moving on as well. So that also accrue. So guys that remain there from what happened, as you mentioned, a 14-in-3 team that I think a lot of people on our network looked at and said, yeah, they could take a major move last year. I don't know if you would have expected them to be the number one seed in the AFC postseason. We get JK Dobbins back two years, 20 million. I believe it was 8 million guaranteed there. A lot of moves here in the linebacking core. They did release Drake Green Law, but Alex Singleton, Resign, Justin Sternid, Resign as well, a couple of tight ends in there. And then I think the other minor moves would have been just kind of around the edges here. What I would look at, and we mentioned some of the cap space that's still available here after some of the

moves that we've seen the first couple of days of this free agency period. If you look at where Denver is right now, they're kind of in that middle to bottom third, about 16.7 million seeing on spot track here available. So not much wiggle room, Dave, but I would believe that as long as Bonix's rehab is where they believe it should be. And if they feel comfortable with where they are on the offensive side, I guess my weakness is if I'm looking at it, would be the trenches, and maybe even more so on the defensive side. Is that a spot where do you address it in the draft? If there's still some guys out there so far, it feels like an aggressive offseason, but a pedestrian one day, not a lot of shock factor as far as those are moves that you look at and say, okay, let's kind of continue this momentum for what we had just a year ago. Yeah, George Patten, the GM, and there was, of course, the general George Patten who helped us World War II immensely there. So I'd like to be, by the way, there's two T's in general Pat

and just one T. So they're not, that was not a birthright name to go to the general. But I do look at that and I go, I do like the way they're run. If we want to keep that analogy going here with Vance Joseph to the defense. So when you think it's Sean Payton, you think offense and you should, right? When you win a Super Bowl in New Orleans in the manner in which he did it. And then he did kind of put his neck out there and say that, you know, in the great quarterback class, the sixth quarterback taken in that first round was Bonix, both overall. And he wanted Bonix. And it didn't feel like Jensen at the time that people were clamoring to go get Bonix out of Oregon and the running jokes of, you know, 12 year senior or whatever you wanted to say, the guy was sold even at Oregon. And I think that's exactly what Sean Payton liked about him was that he was mature and that he felt like he could come into Denver and have a grasp of that playbook, use that mobility. And it doesn't always look great with Bonix. But with Vance Joseph running that defense. And we've talked about this a lot on these mother books when you're handy capping teams here before the year and you're looking at this defensive coordinators that you trust

and maybe even want a Minnesota that you go, man, I know that defense is always going to be good if I could trust KOC offensively. You got something that feels like the Denver template, right? It's going to be like Vance Joseph is going to be able to control that defense and Sean Payton with whatever he has offensively will figure out a way to get the most of it. And so a lot of times Jensen, yes, of course you're going to look at the personnel, but I am betting on coaches in this week more than any. And if we'll go win total sit and nine and a half, it does feel high, especially the Raiders floor has come up that division might just be getting better. I think that the chief's clearly had gotten better when you go out and get the Super Bowl MVP to be your new running back next year in Kansas City. I think we all think the chargers with good health and the offensive line is just going to make Harball and Herbert better. So why I really like the makeup of the team, the division, Jensen, it's going to be a gauntlet. I think for Sean Payton, and I don't think he bats an eye at all when he looks at the competition. He goes, you know who I am, you know, I think

Sean Payton will tell you very quickly that he is a pretty good belief, a self-belief, and what he gets done is head coach. So it's almost like I have to trust what I've seen in the Sean Payton era in Denver more than actually liking the players versus some of the other rosters in their own division. They have five draft selections in the top 130 and including three in the top 94 and I'd be hard pressed to think that the Broncos don't go defense there at the end of the first round and kind of try and fortify through the draft some of the losses that they had in that front seven. When you look at also Dave where they are and this division, hand, we talked about the NFC West being arguably the best or at least top heavy. This is going to be one two with the steps forward the chargers took. Imagine if the chargers have been healthy on their own line for the majority of the year. We would believe in a bounce back from Patrick Mahomes and company. We shall see with an actual off season the first time missing

the postseason in quite some time. Do you have any if you and I again will probably do the sex exercise with every club? If we're advisors in that room and I ask you this question yesterday, I ask you again, is there would you rather get an offensive weapon? Would you rather fortify the defense to me and if I'm looking at the hierarchy of what you have to go back through in the AFC picture? To me, don't you feel you got to get at least another offensive and I don't even know if it matters in the running back of the receiving room. You have to get one, right? Oh, you and I think exactly the same way with this team that I'm not going to say it was smoking mirrors and again, kind of some of the questions we might have about the Patriots. When you win 14 games in this week, you're good. And the way that they did it in the comebacks that they had, go back to the Eagle game here. Bonyx kind of has that something about him in that fourth quarter. They were down in a lot of these games and they pulled rabbits out of the hat. I don't, again, I don't know that

they're actually good enough to run that back with the same group and do this again. So I do think they have to get better skill on the certainly the outside. I think the wide receiver room would be one I'd look at. And yes, the running back room as well. If you could fortify that in the draft, which I think that's exactly what George Patton and Sean Peyton might be looking at here. And again, I do trust the defense. I think the defense is absolutely one of the top units, singular units in the NFL. So if you can get a little bit better offensively and Sean Peyton, they're not going to take any steps back. I don't believe with Bonyx feels like he's just evolving even more in the past game here. If they get actual better skill players, I don't know that they can do better than 14 and three. They could actually be better this year. Jensen and I have a worse record if that makes sense because I actually think they got a lot of this done here with a little hooker by crook. And I don't know that's sustainable, but I do trust the brain trust here. And certainly that starts with Bonyx and quarterback. And it goes to Vance Joseph and to Sean Peyton

as well. When we come back, let's get into stock up and stock down a little bit of what goes up must come down. And one of those might surprise you a little bit here. And it could be in the world of golf. We'll get to that update. What's going on to the players next right here on these some other books. The new LinkedIn hiring pro can't undo your last hire. We mentioned Max Homo was 14-1 to be the first round leader tied with Scotty Chef who has not teed off yet. And that's because Max he got off to an eagle birdie start after the first two holes Jensen. Oh disaster on his third hole of the day the 12th

hole double bogey. We got a 10 way tie at the top here at one under par and Max just went from 14-1 to be first round leader to 70-1. So quickly things can change at sawgrass at the players championship it's wild and the guys are out there firing right now. The big suite is just teed off as as Brooks kept going to keep you updated here as the show goes on the big guns getting ready to get out there. Okay, we do have a lot to get to here. Certainly next hour to talk more daily diamond with the Boston Boston Red Sox and dive deeper into what we think they might be this year. But what goes up must come down and let's get into it today's edition of stock up and stock down. By low sell high as long as you have a reason why and goes reputation is sorry and who's on the vertical apps? It's stock up of stock down. Tested I've won the coin toss. I have elected to receive today here on this Thursday and I'm going to start off with the boys in the silver and black. The the rater was an autumn wind.

I believe is what jump the sun to set back in the day. I do like what the kind of like the the craziness is what's happening here in the last 48 hours with Max Crosby going back to the raiders. And I know that that wasn't was not a happy day here for L.A. because or for Las Vegas rather because they were thinking we've moved on from Max and we're going to get to first from draft from the Ravens you don't get that so you don't have the draft capital but you have money and they had some of the most money to spend so there's somebody that could absorb kind of having reshuffle their books. It feels like the raiders and with some of the other moves that they've made and I'm specifically looking at the linebacking court. I'm specifically looking at this defense to getting back to what the old Oakland raiders were really known for and that was defense. Justin, I think they've got a real shot and you're bringing in now a Super Bowl champion at least offensive coordinator that could be act to run your offense and you're going to get Fernando Mendoza as the number one pick in the draft their win total has gone up at least the juice has now flipped here with what's happened here in the free agency period for the raiders.

I don't know that I'm ready to get to the window on this football team yet but I got to think that you know you saw the tweet from Max Crosby let's run this blank back and he doesn't want to go anywhere and maybe you can just keep beefing up that defense led by Max Crosby again and all the reports are he's going to be fine come week one. So I don't know why those reports in Vegas are different from the ones in Baltimore but that's what we're hearing out of Vegas is that he's going to be okay. Don't worry about Max in the knee. So if you've got a healthy motivated again and I don't think we ever questioned the motivation of guy like that and elite past pressure and obviously the biggest dominoe to fall in free agency and you have him back whether that's was not by design clearly doesn't I think you look at this as glass half full in Las Vegas and if Fernando Mendoza and you sign the biggest free agency contract ever given to a center to help your rookie quarterback to be in next month's draft that's going to help out action genty as well you would think

it's a really talented tight ends all of a sudden I look at the raiders and I go I kind of like the makeup quickly of this football team. So you know one man's trash is another man's treasure it's certainly not trash when it comes to Max Crosby but the ravens clearly did not want to do this deal in the end. I think this could be a win-win for the Raiders because they have the money to absorb it. I think their stock right now in the desert is on the way up. All right it's a great time to be an Italian American, American Italian. Have you want to look at it? Grazie Matalia and God it's so amazing to see after you hit a bomb you come in the dugout you're throwing in our money jacket and you slam an espresso shot. Is there anything more quintessentially Italian other than Vinnie Pasquantino coming in after a win and saying where's the blank and wine? I mean, hey credit where it's due an undefeated pool play job well done. Now let's see what they do in the knockout round. They'll have Puerto Rico coming up and they'll be the home team as the pool

winner there for pool B. So just a cool thing to see in a really, really fun group to watch here through pool play. Yeah, absolutely love it. And again, if we heard that they've been saying that coffee it's not a drink. It's a way of life for Italian Americans. I know that I can relate to that. I mentioned it here with the new leadership that we have in the PGA tour and you heard kind of some of those comments will hear a bit from Rory McRoy later on in this program. But I do think right now the stock of the PGA tour as a whole is going up. There was not a lot of talk yesterday Brian Rolap who's now running the PGA tour about live golf. That's been all the questions about live golf. Good golf. And his answer was you know what? I'm focused on this tour. I'm focused on making this tour better, making it more watchable to non golf fans like I'm a golf fan. Jensen, I'm going to watch anyway. It's not to get me. You already got me. You already got the long shots groups of the world. How do you make it more interesting for people that might you know passively. Oh yeah, golf. Why do I want to watch that? I think they're going to give you a reason to watch it.

And when you watch it, you bet it. And we know that here. That's why we're a network here at Visa. I think all those necessary changes are coming. And I think the playoffs are playoffs. I think that's a big thing in the PGA tour. How do you fix the FedEx Cup playoffs? And I think he's going to do that. I really do think he is the opportunity to be a transcendent leader. Like we saw on the NFL back in the day. If you remember when Pete Rossell and the NFL back then they weren't kings. That wasn't the number one sport in America baseball was. You know what it takes? It takes leadership to grow your game. And I think the PGA tour right now, Jensen, is it in as good a spot with the leadership that they have that we've seen in quite some time. You've gone out of the think tank that is just golf. And you brought in a guy that looked at the success of the NFL that worked in the NFL to try to bring that business model as best he can. There's going to be pushback from the old guard. That's why they're the old guard. But I think he's going to get it through, Jensen.

And I think the PGA tour specifically the playoffs stock is going to go up. Stock couldn't be higher in my eyes and I'm sure in millions of Americans eyes than that of United Airlines. And they did something that I can't believe it took this long to do. But now threatening removal of customers from airplanes because of playing music or phone calls without headphones on. Thank you, God. Someone finally did it. And United, if you want to sponsor by the books, we are happy to share the friendly skies with you because we know it'll be with the slight hum of the airplane engines. I don't have to listen to some idiot on speaker phone or at least while we're in the air, someone playing some cartoons without their headphones on. It is a beautiful policy job well done. My oh high salute United Airlines, your new headphone

policy. Love it. And yeah, we will certainly be happy if they want to sponsor this program. We'll make sure everything is calm here when you fly the friendly skies of United. I'm looking at what goes up must come down. And certainly this has been fun for me as a Dallas Cowboy fan and as a backer to watch what's happening in the city of Broadway show. Now look, this arrow can certainly go back up to the green with Harry Roseman, right? So this is I'm passing judgment now on the free agency period of the Philadelphia Eagles because your defense has been decimated. Oh, I love to see it. Philadelphia. Now look, do I trust how he roseman to get this right? Yes, I do. So always makes me a little bit weary of banging the drum against the Eagles now. But when you lose guys like Jalen Phillips to a record contract, you lose the Kobe Dean going there to the aforementioned Las Vegas Raiders. And you start to detect Reed Blanket ships to the world. Three starters, you only have 11 and you start to deplete, you know, one side of the football like they have right now so far in Philadelphia, you gotta replace those guys. So one thing that

how he does is he trades very well and he normally drafts very well. He's keeping his powder dry. So it makes me a little bit nervy, but right now as it stands today, stock is down on that Eagle defense. That's for sure. Howie, because I trust you and I'm watching you like a hawk. I know you're going to do something. I hope it's not something too good. And I hope that arrow stays down. All right, I'll just do both of mine at the same time. They kind of envelop each other. Bad looks and bad optics. One from Eric DeCosta. Again, I can sympathize to a certain extent, but oh boy, you are really in some trouble now. And it's just beginning. My second stock down is the NBA. And I've already said it's an unwatchable product. The professionalism is not even there. It's hard to call this league for real some nights. And that's even with your marquee teams playing against each other. So we'll have more to say this later on, but the NBA way stocked out. Yeah, I'm with you. It's kind of Eric DeCosta related. It's a handshake deals, right? Hey,

it's like Jerry McGuire. You've got my word. And my word is stronger than oak. And then that deal is gone. What happened to handshake deals, Jensen? Look a man in the eye. And you say your word is what you have. If you don't have your word, you got nothing. Yeah, Eric DeCosta, we're talking about you there in Baltimore. So there's handshake deals right now. Sadly stocked down. We need to make the stock up again so we can trust people when they say and do what they say. Let's get an update here of what's going on. The PGA championship, excuse me, at the players championship on the PGA tour. We'll do that next right here on DeCosta.
