About this episode
Last week I read an article on how some people in America are denied the right to vote. Why? Because they have to show identification. I’ve been in 3rd world countries and even the poorest countries demand photo ID to vote. And the people in those countries have photo ID, and they vote. Every American CITIZEN has the right to vote - once. But without photo ID, a mockery’s been made of that right. Is it too hard for minorities to get photo ID for voting? Are we going to denigrate minorities by saying they’re too inept to get voter ID? Really? As America’s top sociologist Thomas Sowell asked, “When do we finally judge results, rather than good intentions?”
