Von Miller Prefers Washington, Open to Broncos

Von Miller wants to keep playing in the NFL for his 16th season and his top choice is staying with the Washington commanders. The 36 year old edge rusher had 9 sacks for them last year and hopes they bring him back this off season. If the commanders pass, Miller is open to returning to the Denver Broncos where he started his career. He mentioned this recently on a podcast, saying he'd love the chance to wrap things up there properly. Miller got drafted by Denver with the second overall pick back in 2011. He earned Super Bowl MVP honors when they won Super Bowl 50 after the 2015 season, cementing his status as a Broncos legend. He never got full closure in Denver after getting traded, so a reunion would mean a lot to him and the fans. That emotional side adds a personal touch to his free agency plans. Still, Miller gets that the league is a business. He's ready to join whatever team wants his experience and play his best wherever he lands.
