Virgo NM, Uranus Stations Retro, Active Mercury,Intense Venus ~ Weekly Intuitive Astrology Sep 9 to 16

0:00Welcome to Intuitive Astrology with Molly McCord. Thank you so much for joining me today as we discuss the astrological energies of September 9th until September 16th where we continue on through Virgo season and we have our Virgo new moon coming up. Plus we're going to see Uranus stashing retrograde, Venus and Mercury both change signs and so does black moon lilyth. We have quite a bit to cover in today's show as this is the Wednesday podcast that focuses on what is unfolding over this next week. The Monday podcast is where we have a specialty topic or theme and I hope you're able to listen to the themes of black moon lilyth entering Capricorn which occurs on September 14th and actually last for the next 9 months in June of 2027. This is especially helpful if you have planets or points in Capricorn. So do check out that Monday episode. It aired on September 7th and of course you can listen to it whenever you have time.

1:07Now we are still moving through the energetic cycles of the eclipses from August. The eclipses are a powerful initiation of energy and they change things up in our lives. We have two eclipses. We have that Leo solar eclipse and the Pisces lunar eclipse and even though those occurred exact in August they still have influence and ongoing energy shifts for the rest of this year. Do keep in mind that this can give you insights into what you are changing in yourself and your life in your world because eclipses are essentially accelerated timeline shifts. They push us forward. They ensure that we're not getting stagnant or stuck or bored. No, not on planet earth. There's no boredom on planet earth right now. This is about the next level changes that are coming through and when you're aware of how these energies are showing up in your chart you have a heads up on where those changes are occurring.

2:12I do need to point out that Leo solar eclipse is going to continue to be highly active because we're going to have Jupiter in Leo moving across that 20 degree point plus Mars in Leo also moving across that 20 degree point. So the Leo areas of your chart are going to remain active especially in October so just a heads up at what's to come but coming back into this week we certainly have enough going on right now that is continuing to keep us on our toes. So let's take a look at the four shifts that are occurring on September 10th September 10th is when we have the Virgo new moon at 18 degrees we're also going to see Venus enter Scorpio Mercury enter Libra and Uranus station retrograde at five degrees 42 minutes of Gemini all on September 10th. So it all aligns with that Virgo new moon which is a new beginning point in the Virgo areas of your chart where you have 18 degrees you would identify where you have 18 degrees of Virgo by house placement as this is where that Virgo reset is coming in a Virgo new moon is asking you to simplify to assess what you need and what you don't need to be very clear in what is working and what is not.

3:39And to identify where you can make small specific changes that shift the energy or move the dial in a way that supports you the Virgo new moon is where we're able to stop and look at what is supporting our energy improving our lives and efficiently working in the best possible ways. And so during the Virgo new moon you might see something in a new way that you're realizing I don't like this anymore I don't want this anymore I don't enjoy this I don't want to keep doing this and that is part of a Virgo reset is that you might have a critical eye around what you don't like what you don't want and what you don't need anymore. So this is where you can then have a new beginning make a new choice recognize where there can be an improvement this can even be as simple as tackling something quite small but it improves your energy it can be organizing that one cupboard cleaning out those two drawers in your closet recognizing where there's too much clutter too much stuff like in the bathroom counters or somewhere in the kitchen or wherever you have your stuff.

4:51Maybe you're just understanding there's too much here that I don't need and allow this a Virgo new moon to support you in decluttering simplifying and improving anything in your personal space that isn't good for your energy. Now the Virgo themes are also about support and often it's about supporting others or supporting something outside yourself but healthy Virgo energy makes time for what you need in order to feel supported especially energetically physically and mentally. So this is a beautiful time to establish a new habit or pattern that is good for you because it feels supportive and healthy this could be a great time as well to determine if you need to do any kind of detox cleanse or purge and you could even be surprised at what you see and realize because not only is this Virgo new moon about a new start but it coincides with mercury entering into lead.

5:57We're now going to exchange talk and share what we've been thinking about. We're searching for new information, new ideas or just simply someone to share your thought process with. And so the chatter picks up during the Virgo new moon and this mercury entering into Libra begins to make an air-ground shrine with Pluto retrograde and Aquarius and Uranus stationing retrograde and Gemini on the same day. So the Uranus energy is quite strong around the new moon and that is going to amp up surprises, breakthroughs and revelations and so there could be some fast moving insights here that you receive around what to do next where you might see this is the solution this is the direction it could come about through your conversations with other people that is often how mercury in Libra receives messages and it could also be something that clicks and moves ahead quickly because of the air-ground shrine energy which circulates information quickly.

7:10And so an air-ground shrine with mercury is going to bring about fast moving developments based on what you are speaking, sharing and learning. And so as this Virgo new moon occurs on September 10th there could be even more unfolding that takes things forward. This can be quite social and interactive, you might be ready to promote talk or share something that you've been working on or working through. There is more buzziness here which means it's time to get something off your mind to speak up to share it to reach out whatever it is for you. There's going to be a lot more that starts coming in with this air-ground shrine that starts on the Virgo new moon. This can even be great for planning purposes, for example the upcoming holidays. Maybe you're looking at where you're going to be on Thanksgiving or Hanukkah or Christmas.

8:11Maybe you're looking at where we're going to meet up, what are we going to do this year? Has everyone bought their tickets? Does everyone have the same plan? So this is where the energies are actually going to be picking up in our conversations, travel and planning agendas. And there is support here in the details aligning and a very clear solid plan to come together. So just one way the Virgo new moon and this air-ground shrine energy can be used. But I also want to dig in a little bit more to this year in a stationing retrograde at five degrees of Gemini. Because this is going to be an interesting time to reflect on your communications, on what you are learning and studying, like what you are focusing on, that your mind is gravitating towards. This could be a review process where you are newly discerning what is good for your mental self. Is this really what I want to think about or focus on?

9:11Am I really enjoying where my mental energy is going every day? Are these satisfying conversations and connections that I have in my life? And when this Uranus is stationing retrograde, the Uranus energies are bigger and it's the energy of disruption and liberation. It's awakening and shock. And in Gemini it is ruling how we think, speak and communicate. It also affects our bigger systems, which is Uranian of communication. So I think this is going to be a time period when people start reviewing how they interact and use social media, texting, email, their phones, and basically the new normal ways we interact with each other. I think there is going to be deeper reflection on what is posted and shared on social media. There has already been a trend of people posting less of returning to their life in real time, their physical life, their IRL priorities.

10:18There's even the need to touch grass and have a digital detox more regularly. This Uranus stationing retrograde in Gemini is going to bring into greater self awareness how you are communicating with others in all forms, whether that serves you, whether that is still correct for your energy if you still want to put your time into those habits, whether that is consciously interacting with others or if it's too much time doom scrolling, tapping and swiping. We're going to have some new understandings of how to use our energy that serves our consciousness and our intentionality. You might be seeing the bigger picture of your communication style and habits and wondering, is this really the best I can do? Is this the best way I can communicate and be really myself and really truly authentic? Is this how I want to spend my time, am I spending too much time on my phone or only interacting with people through these digital environments?

11:22Am I feeling mentally engaged and stimulated with the ideas, concepts and information that really speaks to me or am I just cycling through habits and patterns because they're familiar? I think this is going to be a big part of what we examine here during this Uranus retrograde which does last until February, February 8th when Uranus will then station direct at 1 degree 41 minutes of Gemini. This is a beautiful time to look at your daily habits, to look at how much you're connected to your phone, screens, technology and to be more conscious of when to maybe step away or put it down. Or simply looking at any other number of habits and patterns around what is draining your energy versus what is actually life giving. So then another theme that comes up here on September 10th is Venus enters Scorpio and she is going to remain in Scorpio for an extended amount of time because of her upcoming retrograde that starts on October 2nd at 8 degrees of Scorpio.

12:34So she enters Scorpio September 10th, stations retrograde October 2nd and then will voyage back into Libra on October 25th where she will also continue her retrograde journey. I'll be doing a separate podcast for you on Monday discussing this particular Venus retrograde which is complex, deep, emotional and intense. There's a lot here with this Venus retrograde that is important to have a heads up around because this is potentially a rocky road. It could bring up some things that you weren't expecting. This Venus entering into Scorpio is going to reveal truth and it's going to reveal what has been hidden, manipulated, light about and controlled behind the scenes. It's also going to reveal what needs to deeply heal in order to move on and move forward. And that's because this Venus is going to have three squares to Pluto and three oppositions to Kairan and in fact those energies start this week.

13:43So as she moves into Scorpio on September 10th, she has her first opposition to Kairan. Kairan is retrograde in Taurus at zero degrees. This is her only opposition to Kairan retrograde in Taurus at this time and it occurs at zero degrees of Scorpio and zero degrees of Taurus. And then the next two oppositions will occur when Venus is in Libra and Kairan is retrograde in Aries. So here we have the first opposition and what comes about is that the truth is going to hurt. Something is painful, something feels like an injury or emotionally difficult with this opposition. And this Venus moves into Scorpio and as she does so she begins a descent into truth, power, the hidden realms and her deeper psyche. This Venus is going to be quite influential over the next few months and this is where you're going to want to be highly tuned in to what you're feeling and why.

14:49And as she has the opposition to Kairan in Taurus, something hurts that you're meant to see and acknowledge. It's occurring in the two fixed signs of Scorpio and Taurus and it could even bring about a parallelization, numbing or coping mechanisms. And then Venus is going to move forward and she's going to have an exact square to Pluto retrograde in Aquarius at three degrees on September 15th. Now Venus is moving very slowly over the course of this next week. So even though she only has that opposition to Kairan on September 10th, she's already in a conversation with Pluto with that T square in the fixed signs. And so here we have intense complications around what is real, what is true, what is honest, what has been deceptive, what has been manipulated, where have there been many lies to serve certain people, especially to create money, control or power.

15:56And Venus is entering into again the territory that she's going to descend through in Scorpio and through her retrograde that is going to be uncomfortable. And I can't really make it sound any better than that because the opposition to Kairan and the square to Pluto, especially in fixed signs, means there's something you need to see. And then you have to face and it probably is going to stir up some things that are uncomfortable with Venus and Scorpio, bringing up the underbelly of your emotions, the shadow side of what you're truly experiencing and feeling. It could also stir up things that have been dormant yet are requiring greater truth and acknowledgement. Interesting because as I'm recording this, what's coming to mind is that there was just a second robbery from a French museum where the thieves stole two more Renoir paintings.

16:56They tried to get away with four Renoir paintings but they left two behind. They dropped two as they were fleeing the scene. And so this is very much this energy here, where people are stealing things that actually aren't being well protected. Because it's known that in some of these, in fact many of these French museums, there's a huge lack of security. These museums do not have video surveillance. And it's because the museum's lack resources to keep their possessions safe. So right here we have that opposition between Venus and Scorpio, Kairan and Taurus, revealing where you don't have enough to protect something. And so what are the weaknesses? What needs to be fixed? Because it's creating a crisis. In fact, it's another crisis. Because it's been nearly a year since the Louvre had over 100 million royal jewels stolen. Remember that? All those jewels were stolen from the Louvre. And those are items that are Venue-shan.

17:58Anything that we value that's beautiful, that we want to own and possess are Venue-shan items. And so there needs to be new solutions here around what is worth owning, protecting and keeping safe against those who want to steal. The criminals of Scorpio Energy, if you will. Because Scorpio does rule, crime, plagiarism, imposters, copycats, energy vampires, and those who are siphoning energy that isn't their own. And so these are big themes at this time and this Venus entry in Scorpio, where she will remain, is going to reveal who the criminals are, what they have been doing behind the scenes, what they thought they were getting away with, what they thought they were making off of it, especially financially, energetically and emotionally. So we're going to have big revelations during this Venus retrograde around people who are psychopaths, sociopaths, liars, criminals, highly deceptive, and even lifelong master manipulators.

19:08And so your intuition is going to sense and pick up something that's off first. And you're probably going to have that internal battle with yourself around no, they wouldn't do that. No, that's not possible. No, that's not who they are. And that's part of how the Scorpio Energy requires you to dig in to more of your gut level instincts and what you're feeling and sensing before it's logically understood. And so I feel like this particular Venus opposing Kairan and squaring Pluto is going to reveal to us even more of people's true character, their true motivation, how they operate from a dark psyche, and the damage that is done because of it. So that's partly how this energy is uncomfortable is that you're going to see people's true characters revealed it will be on full display. And there will be individuals who have a permanent fall from grace, who are permanently removed from their position, their profession, their home or community, like sent off to jail.

20:14I know this sounds extreme, but I just want to paint the picture here of the archetypal energies. Some people are going to need to take down their website. They're going to need to go offline and hide like they're going to be fully disgraced. And that is simply what is coming through here because both Kairan and Pluto are intense in what they reveal. And there's something here that's been waiting to come out and come forward, but it's already been felt and discussed. Now it's going to be even more evident. So in your life and in your world, this could be a tricky thing to navigate at times. If you're feeling and sensing where things are off, if you're questioning someone's motivations or intentions, if you find that things are actually more complicated than you first thought they would be. That is part of the homework of this Venus retrograde. Again, I'll be discussing it more on Monday show. But please know that you're meant to trust your intuition. And even if you're seeing things, you wish weren't true. You're meant to see it now for a reason. Now the other side of this is that you're not meant to be suspicious of everyone everywhere.

21:25You're not meant to think that everyone's out to get you. Everyone's a criminal. Everyone's a bad person. No, but you are meant to be trusting what you feel in an environment or in a conversation and just sensing where things are just off enough that you're inquisitive. And that is one of the higher ways of using Venus in Scorpio. She asks the tough questions. She wants to get to the heart of the truth. She wants to know what are you really motivated by? What are your true intentions? And you can't cover it up, especially during a retrograde. And so we will keep discussing that as we move through these energies every week. But just know that the energies definitely kick off quite strongly here. As Venus moves into Scorpio September 10th has that immediate opposition to Kairan and then an exact square to Pluto on September 15th. So this basically means that she's in this energy all week. And because Venus is moving so slowly, she remains in this square to Pluto into October. Now let's move on to our next planet here to examine which is Mercury.

22:40So as I mentioned, Mercury enters Libra on September 10th and then September 12th and September 13th. Mercury is fully engaged in that air grand trying dynamic with both Pluto retrograde and Aquarius of three degrees and Uranus now retrograde in Gemini at five degrees. So this is that energy of plans coming together ideas moving quickly fast happening conversations projects travel plans. There is an uptick in everything that is being discussed and shared. But it's happening in a supportive way. Now at the same time this Mercury and Libra also has an opposition to Neptune retrograde in areas at three degrees. And this means you could be waiting for the full story when Mercury is opposing Neptune in areas. There is a lack of transparency at first. You could be sensing weight. Is this all the information or these are the details. Something isn't quite adding up just yet. But then the next day on September 13th and 14th, it will become more evident.

23:48So if you're getting that gut level instinctual sense, I'm going to pause on this. I'm going to take a beat. I'm going to listen to my own energy here. And then I'm going to continue the conversation or then I'm going to get back to them after I have a minute to digest the energy and not only wait for more information to come forward. I'm going to start with the question of what to stop and listen to yourself because that Neptune retrograde in areas wants to bring you back into your intuition wants you to hear the messages that you're feeling within and to not be overly focused on what is only being said by the other person. Mercury and Libra is going to be very focused on the other what they're communicating what they're sharing what they're doing what they're working on. And this Neptune is saying now come back into yourself. Listen to what you need. So here your own wisdom and make sure that that is included in whatever you are solving, discussing or figuring out with others. So essentially this Mercury opposing Neptune in areas is ensuring that you do not abandon yourself, your needs or your wisdom.

25:02So you might have to again take a break or take a beat, give something 24 hours to process and settle, then return to the conversation with greater ownership of your own needs and your own desires. So a very active Mercury this week. That is great for getting back to people showing up for those calls going out to happy hour meeting up for brunch, whatever you do with your people. This could become a busy social time here over the next few weeks. So that Mercury energy is really strong September 10th through September 14th also on September 14th we're going to have the Sun and Virgo sex tile Mars in cancer at 20 degrees. This can be a very nurturing receptive energy where you're able to hear how you are truly feeling in your body and where you may need a rest. That's because both the Sun and Virgo and Mars in cancer prefer to go slower, prefer to move with ease and are searching for how to do that in a way that is good for your energy.

26:14This could be a day September 14th where you're like, I'm just going to do a little bit less today. I'm going to leave more open space in my calendar. I'm going to give myself a break and some downtime and just see what feels good because that Mars in cancer will be motivated to do something when it feels aligned. But if Mars in cancer is exhausted, tired, not sleeping well, or doesn't have a sense of what he really desires, he needs time to listen to his inner world to come back home to himself and hear what would be best for his energy. And so that Sun and Virgo will bring in those messages. This is what's best for you today or this is where you're going to feel the most supported and there will be more grace and easier. If you move in this direction in this way. So again, that's on September 14th, which is the beginning to the next work week. That's also the day that Black Moon Lilith enters Capricorn where she will remain for nine months.

27:16Black Moon Lilith is the archetype of rebellion, wild sovereignty, raw personal power and greater independence. This is the archetype of an energy that isn't here to fit in. She's here to break the norms, crash the systems, reveal what is no longer effective or purposeful. And in Capricorn, she stirs up how you feel around your own power, authority, goals and success. Do you feel worthy of being successful? Have you held back your goals for other people? Have you tried to be a little bit sweeter or softer in order to be accepted? Because this Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn takes no prisoners and she is here to push those limits and to be the best version of herself. She can be in the world, even when that involves her shadow expression. Now Black Moon Lilith is not an actual planet. It is a point on the Moon's orbit, on the Moon's elliptical orbit. And it's known as the lunar apogee, which is the furthest point from Earth that the Moon travels.

28:27And this is where her energy reigns and where she experiences more of her true self. This is the darkest point in the Moon's cycle. And it brings up the parts of yourself that have been repressed, that have been suppressed, the parts of yourself that you thought you had to hide, maybe they're shame there. Maybe it wasn't fully supported. Perhaps you received some early messages when you were younger around what it meant to be successful in the world, what you had to do, what was required of you, what the expectations were. And Black Moon Lilith says, I'm not having any of that. I'm going to live on my own terms. I'm going to show up in the world with my own power, gifts and goals. And I'm not going to hold back what I'm capable of doing to make others comfortable or to allow anyone else to dictate who I am in this role or in this space. So I discussed this more on again, Monday's podcast last Monday, September 7th, if you want to dive into more of the energetics of Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn.

29:35She spends around nine months in each sign and she hasn't been in Capricorn for nine years. So she is returning to the Capricorn areas of your chart. And she's going to stir up maybe some trouble, rebellion or resistance as she moves through this area of your chart. And so I think it's quite interesting when we look at this shift of Black Moon Lilith into Capricorn alongside this Venus in Scorpio that's moving quite slowly and experiencing the opposition to Kyron and that square to Pluto and how all of this means there's going to be very strong feminine expressions of wild, raw power being revealed and coming out into the collective. And there's going to be perhaps a lot of emotion, backlash, intensity and revelations around what has been suppressed. And so this could certainly relate to things that are very difficult to discuss, especially in proper society where maybe you don't bring up abuse, trauma, power dynamics, power struggles, control, manipulation and bribery.

30:47People who have been bribing others are going to be revealed. People who have been engaged in behind the scenes, dealings are going to be revealed. And this Black Moon Lilith, especially in Capricorn, is going to bring in the harsh consequences and the reality checks. It feels like something has reached its limit and it breaks down, it breaks apart, it's no longer effective. It certainly brought into the light of day, but it also reveals all the ugliness underneath. So do keep in mind that that is something coming up here, not only with this Venus retrograde in Scorpio, but with Black Moon Lilith in Capricorn, she's going to feel strong about what she has to declare and being in her authority. There could be a lot of cognitive dissonance, which comes about here with these revelations and developments. And there's also going to be people who feel newly empowered, who feel that justice is being served, and that finally there is a change happening.

31:49There is a turning point that is real and evident. So even though these energies are perhaps darker and even uncomfortable at first, they all are serving the light if that's what you believe. There's always dark and light, there's always an ongoing dance between the energetics of our consciousness and of our galaxy. And so it feels like there is something that has to come up and be seen in order to set people free. And I'm feeling too, like there will be beautiful gifts associated with these developments. There will be things that not only set you free, but also reveal the truth of your own character, integrity and self-respect. You could also see why taking the high road pays off, why elevating your own energy, consciousness and emotions pays off. You could have some validation here around what it means to hold a frequency and to remain in the truth of who you are.

32:52I'm getting the message that less is more and it feels like the people who are yelling the loudest. Like the people who are causing the most emotion, the most drama, the most intensity are the ones who are guilty, and they're trying to create either a diversion, or they're trying to spin the story or spin the information to keep lying or to keep something going. But I'm seeing it all crashing down, it's already crashed down and it feels like that's part of what we're sensing to globally, is that there's been a lot changing behind the scenes that isn't readily apparent yet. But you can sense there's been a shift, you can sense there's things that have permanently evolved, and it no longer supports those lower energies that have been able to be seen. It's not only like this week, it's already been unfolding, but it's something you could sense more intensely, even if you can't put it into words or fully describe it.

34:01All of this is going to make for a really fascinating Venus retrograde. Do keep in mind that this also means that Venus opposing chiron and squaring Pluto is going to have more global impacts. So not only is it about the ongoing trade and tariff wars that are happening, not only is it about resources such as gas, oil, and water, but it's also going to impact the economy as we move into holiday season. So I guess my heads up is the more you can do any of your holiday shopping earlier, the better off it's going to be because prices are going to go up, there could be more issues with supply and demand, and of course global trade that would increase what we pay online or at the store. So a good heads up here in September that if you can get any holiday shopping done sooner than later, you're probably going to come out ahead.
