Virgin River Losing Key Cast Members, New Season Seven Episodes

0:00Today is March 12th. Here's what's trending in Entertainment. Fans of Virgin River are saying goodbye to two key cast members. Marco Grisini and Lauren Hammersley are leaving the show before Season 8 kicks off. The news dropped right as Season 7 started streaming on Netflix. In the new episodes, Grisini's character Mike, a local cop, teams up with Brie to search for the missing Charmaine, played by Hammersley. Charmaine has a history with Jack from way back, and she only pops up in two episodes this season with limited time on screen. Grisini joined in Season 3 and built a romance with Brie over time. Hammersley has been around since the show's debut in 2019, starring through Season 4 and recurring after that. No word yet, from their reps on why they're exiting. The series keeps growing its cast, too. Season 7 brings in Sarah Canning from the Vampire Diaries, Austin Nichols of One Tree Hill fame, and Cody Kiersley as a shady rodeo rider named.
