Chinese supreme leader Xi Jinping recently launched a Maoist-style mass ideological campaign dubbed "research and investigation" to promote communism and shift the domestic and international focus away from his failed policies. The counterproposal examines a powerful spiritual alternative to communism and the news portion explores how China's communist regime continues to try and hide its crimes of using military force in killing thousands of unarmed pro-democracy protesters in Beijing in   June 1989. My interview is with former White House Deputy National Security Adviser Matt Pottinger who discussed the rise of communist ideology under Xi.
