Communism’s theoretical founder, Karl Marx, believed communist revolution would not take place in China. To foment a revolution, Chinese communist founder Mao Zedong misled the Chinese people by incorporating elements of traditional Chinese philosophies like Daoism and Confucianism in using communism to seize power. The counterproposal section offers a new philosophical and practical approach to the problem that I call the Victory Over Communism worldview. The news portion looks at how the Chinese Communist Party recently began imposing new restrictions on American companies doing business in China. The interview portion presents excerpts of a major policy speech on Chinese communism given in July 2020 by then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo.
