Victoria Cafasso and Nancy Grunwaldt

About this episode

We are headed over to the Beaumaris Beach section of Tasmania, Australia to talk about two separate unsolved cases. In 1995, a 20-year-old Italian tourist named Victoria Cafasso was found murdered on the beach. Just two years earlier, a 26-year-old German tourist named Nancy Grunwaldt disappeared around the same area. Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss these cases from Australia. The area was in fear that a killer or killers were roaming the area. The fact that both individuals were tourists from other countries made some think that the killer was a local preying on female tourists. Victoria's murder was brutal and the crime scene was very difficult for police to work. And the area was rocked shortly after her murder by the actions of Martin Bryant.
