VFTB 178: Youth Apologetics Training

THE NAME could use some work. "Apologetics" sounds like what you do when you say you're sorry for hurting someone's feelings. That's not it at all.
Apologetics is the field of study that prepares one to answer questions — specifically, in this case, questions about why Christians believe the biblical accounts of the life, teachings, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ (and by extension, all of the things that He attested to in the Old Testament).
Michael Boehm recognizes the desperate need for students to learn about the evidence for the faith. For example, studies show that most teens who go off to college leave the faith within two months. His ministry, soon to be renamed Answer Ready Ministries, addresses the questions teens are likely to face.  Michael joined us to explain why he felt called to tackle this important challenge.
