Vernon Turner

About this episode

Please welcome Vernon Turner. Vernon Turner is a former NFL  football player who played running back for six seasons for the Buffalo Bills, Los Angeles Rams, Detroit Lions and Tampa Bay Buccaneers of the NFL. "The Next Level: A Game I Had To Play!" tells the inspiring story of how the now 44-year-old Turner moved as a young child from the mean streets of Bedford-Stuyvesant to a quiet neighborhood in Sunnyside, where he discovered a love for football that took him from Curtis High School to Carson-Newman (Tenn.) College to an improbable NFL career with four different teams. Turner also works as a personal trainer for aspiring young athletes and can be contacted at www.VernonTurner.com.
