Venezuela's narrow three-to-two win over the United States in the World Baseball Classic Championship game pulled in huge numbers. A total of 10,784,000 viewers washed on Fox and Fox Deportes. That figure is almost double the 5.4 million who tuned in for Japan's victory against the Americans in last year's final. The Tuesday night match of average 10,228,000 viewers on Fox alone. It beat the 4.48 million from the previous final and topped viewership for the first four games of the 2023 World Series. Meanwhile, the entire tournament averaged 1,294,000 viewers across Fox, FS1 and FS2. That's double the 506,000 from 2023.
