VCU Stuns UNC in OT, Advances in NCAA Tournament

They were down 56-37 with about 15 minutes left when BCU flipped the script, outscoring the 6th Cedar Tar Heels 45. To 22 over the final stretch, that run forced overtime where the Rams sealed the deal. Terrence Hill Jr. led the charge with a career high 34 points, including 23 after half time and a dagger 3-pointer in. Over time. North Carolina's Henri Vissar fought hard with 26 points and 10 rebounds but it wasn't quite enough. BCU's bench dominated, outscoring Carolina's reserves 42-7 while the Rams poured in 54 points after the break to erase the deficit. This win marks their 17th victory in the last 18 games, boosting their record to 28-7.
