The father of communist Russia coined the term. “Useful Idiots.” Lennon knew that the people wouldn’t improve their lot by exchanging the czar for communism. In fact, it would get worse. And it did. Millions died, and Lennon laughed at their stupidity. What are “useful idiots?” People who are bitter and aggrieved, and they follow a leader or a political party whose policies harm them, their loved ones and their neighbors. But they’re too naive or too stupid to recognize the damage that they’re promoting. Useful idiots are found at all educational levels, from the illiterates to the PhD. Some wise up, and some remained useful idiots their entire lives. In fact, useful idiots jump from one harmful cause to another. The screaming in the streets and on college campuses praising Hamas’ slaughter of Jews.
