On April 19th, U.S. forces in the Arabian Sea just seized an Iranian cargo ship called Tuska that tried to bust through their naval blockade headed for. An Iranian port on April 19th. Trump wrote the news on social media, saying a U.S. Navy guided missile destroyer warned the ship to stop in the Gulf of Oman, but it kept going, so they fired and punched a hole right in the engine room to halt it. Marines now have full custody of the vessel, which has been under U.S. Treasury sanctions for years, due to shady past dealings. A defense department video captured the whole takedown with warnings blaring over the radio before the USS Spruins opened fire to disable the engine. This massive 900-foot container ship had sailed from a Malaysian port and got stopped near Iran's border with Pakistan. And so far, no word. From Tehran as the standoff simmers in these tents waters.
