It's a fresh spot for travelers to grab craft beer and good eats right in the terminal, run by a local brewer that's all about that regional vibe. This new eatery took over the space where Black Bear Saloon used to be. The Connecticut Airport Authority teamed up with Food Service Pros at SSP to make it happen, bringing more local flavor to the gates. Airport Boss, Michael Shea, says spots like this boost the passenger experience and highlight Connecticut brands. Urban Lodge co-owner Michael Garrity is pumped too, calling it a key part of the airport's big upgrade. On top of that, more food options are rolling in soon. West Hartford Sparrow Pizza will open a sit-down joint in the gates one through twelve concourse and Chick-fil-A is heading to the main food court.
