京韵大鼓，清末民初形成并流行于北京、天津地区。由当时的鼓书艺人刘宝全等把原用河北语音演唱的木板大鼓改用北京语音演唱，广泛吸收京剧唱腔及北京流行的民间曲调创制新腔，并在木板大鼓原有伴奏乐器三弦外，增加了四胡和琵琶，形成了一直流传至今的京韵大鼓。
