It is an entire ecosystem: enormous manufacturing capacity, dense supplier networks, huge domestic market, abundant engineering talent, affordable component costs, patient capital and a government willing to make long-term inputs.

The point is that more and more developers treat Chinese models as building blocks rather than merely products to be consumed.
