Today I have the privilege of reconnecting with Danny Debron, Sovereign Magazine's Law of Attraction, Manifestation and Energy Alignment columnist.
She is the sole aligned mentor, supporting women to prioritize themselves while building their personal brands that feel like home. Danny teaches self discovery and social media as a spiritual practice blending marketing strategy with mindset, identity, and how clarity, calm, and confidence all start within. She is passionate about manifesting your dreams by living in alignment with your soul's purpose and the universal laws, mentoring women through intimate experiences and her mastermind to rise collectively and create a more connected high frequency world. Welcome back, Danny. Thank you so much. Today we're talking about building a legacy, which is the April New Moon Issues. And in your article, unlocking my soul's purpose and building a legacy, you really help us redefine legacy as something not that we leave behind, but it's this energetic imprint we're really creating every day through the things that we choose to be, who we choose to be and the frequency that we carry.
Perhaps you can share a little bit more about your article for those who haven't read it yet. Thank you so much. I think it was a really lovely experience for myself to be conscious on this because actually it did make me think that you can leave a legacy every single day with every different person. It doesn't mean we have to pass away or leave this earth plane live to leave a legacy. And I just quite like the concept that every time you put something out into the universe, whether it's a conversation or a piece of work or just a kind act for somebody else, you're leaving a legacy with them. It's like leaving a part of you and I see everything as an energetic exchange. And of course, every time you offer that to somebody, that is a part of your legacy that you're leaving out into the world, so being more mindful about what you're trying to create while you're here so that others can experience it as they experience you. I think was my general point of this one. I love that so much because I'm learning about this through this theme just like you because we always think of legacy is after we pass away. And I remember a contributor recently messaging me saying, hey, I'm just circling back on this. And I'm like, I answered that and I looked back at the chat in the long voice note I had sent her just was not there. I don't know what happened.
And I'm said, I'm so sorry. I respond very quickly. So if I'm not there, if I don't respond, message me again, because this is what happened. The voice note didn't go through. She's like, I thought that was weird. And that's part of the legacy that we're leaving behind is I always associate a legacy with a feeling rather than a monetary amount or the pictures that are there. Right. It's a feeling that we give people. And that's when we truly are our authentic selves. And so when do you believe that you started to feel more comfortable to be your authentic self to leave behind this amazing legacy that you are creating about called the awakening. And so yeah, share a little bit more about that. I think when I started realizing who I was underneath all the layers, all the stories, all the kind of little fragments of trauma that we collect over the years. That's when it started to unravel and reveal itself. I think we all subconsciously know who we are, but a lot of stuff weighs on top of that.
And sometimes it takes that real deep inner work to move through it. And because the universe delivered me these incredible women that I needed at that time, those that work in the Akashic fields, astrologers and birth chart and human design experts, I then was gifted the opportunities to explore myself. And only when I started to look at all these parts, did I finally give myself permission to lean in because I don't think we can do it alone. I think we need to learn these modalities. We need to explore our human design our birth chart. We need to understand what it means to have a rising sign or, you know, all the different things that you can learn, especially for me, the Akashic records was huge. So I had my first reading where I understood my soul gifts. And that just really cemented it for me because I always knew I was a positive person. And I loved people and I kind of shared healing just through my energy, right. And just being in my presence, I would help turn some of these day around. I always knew that about me. But when I realized that my primary divine soul gift is love, it gave me a whole new permission to lean into it and it helped me understand the reason I can ignore red flags, the reason I see the good in everyone.
The reason I don't mind getting hurt if it helps somebody else is because I choose love always because my gift here is to spread joy and to give unconditional love to remind people of the beauty sacredness of life. And then my secondary divine soul gift is communication. So of course falling in a world of marketing and social media, I was already living in alignment with that. But I didn't realize how good I was because I am somebody that needs external validation. And I need to be told to truly feel it like I have to show my brain, the evidence that you're good at that. Because I've just always been too annoyingly humble to know how good I am at anything, right. So all these things really helped me lean in and then I realized I'm supposed to speak. I'm supposed to share my wisdom. I'm supposed to share my lived experience because before that I was paranoid that I didn't have much to give and I wasn't trained in certain things. You know, I wasn't a psychologist or I wasn't, you know, I hadn't gone to you needs to do anything academic. I had a fashion degree and I played around on socials.
But actually what I learned was my career and my life and my legacy comes from who I am, not what I do. And that's a massive reframe for everyone and anyone that I meet. I don't care what you do. I want to know who you are. That's the difference. And when you lean into that and you uncover those layers and you reconnect with yourself, that's when those whispers come in and you realize, aha, that's my sole purpose. All those parts that make me who I am, not the things that we've created to protect ourselves, not when we're in scarcity mode, not when we're panicking or insecure or worried or anxious. And this is why I do a lot of work with my best friend, Sophie's a psychotherapist because she talks a lot about your survival self. Are you speaking from your survival self or your soul self? So your soul self is your pure aligned or authentic you. Your survival self is the version of you that you've created to show up in the world because you don't think you have what it takes to really be yourself. So all these things that I've worked over in the last couple of years have all helped hand in hand, me to have that confidence to do that.
And I think when I started talking about all this, that's why it's beautiful for me because my sole purpose is sharing sole purpose. And it's amazing because I get to lead and show others through my own lived experience because I will say, you know, I'm doing it too. I'm learning this. It's changed my life. Let's help you change yours. And it's just being that kind of connector in between it all. I am just like imagining myself years ago, listening to this podcast and going, yes, Danny, yes to all of this. I want to live in my sole purpose, right? And then saying, but I'm not where I'm supposed to be. How do I get there, Danny? How do I get there? Yeah, do you know what this is? This is the hard thing that we always put on ourselves and we talk about it a lot, trusting the universe and divine timing and taking that pressure off because as soon as you release the control or trying to be somewhere that you're not, you will get there. Like it just is divinely timed and that divine intervention does kick in. So when you trust, I'm exactly where I need to be.
And you create a bit of a mantra around it, maybe every single morning when you wake up, you tell yourself, I'm exactly where I need to be. It calms your body. And I truly believe the secret to all life's happiness is your energy that gets stuck in your body. So if you can show yourself, you're safe. Everything's fine. You've got this. You're exactly where you need to be. As soon as you start feeling that, you're going to start transmitting that frequency, that energy to be calm, to attract, to be confident. Then the opportunities will come. But when you panic and you stress yourself out and you freak out and you're in scarcity, it's a block. It's a massive block to energy. And it's a really hard thing to work around. But I think mindset reframes are really powerful when you can remind yourself to show yourself self love in those moments and compassion. Self compassion is massively underrated. We need to be so much kinder to ourselves because we juggle a hell of a lot. We do. We do. And I think for me, when I realized self care was not selfish and self compassion wasn't selfish, I was able to step more authentically into myself.
Even more than I ever have because I always found myself attracting people in my life that I had to walk on egg shells around. And it wasn't until I truly stepped fully into my authentic self. And I said, this is who I'm going to be and I'm no longer going to walk on egg shells. Those people naturally fell away. We've talked about this on your show. Regarding the love vibration and attraction and how when we're vibrating at a lower level and kind of dimming our light, we're attracting those types of people that kind of can mimic that same thing, right? And as I raised my vibration and was more my authentic self, I started to attract in amazing people like you into the business and really building exactly what my soul's purpose was here to be which was to uplift women and their stories so that they could step fully into their sovereign self.
And so that's just a perfect example that when you shrink yourself to make others feel comfortable, you're not going to leave behind the legacy that you desire. Inside the sovereign community, you'll find more than a social platform. You'll find many private spaces led by women who walk the path with you like Abby from Canada, connect with her in her sacred space called reclaimed and rise. Step into the Maven Haven with Ebony from the UK or join the open heart collective with Bonnie from the US. These are just some of the soul sanctuaries curated by conscious women for conscious connection. Come find your space inside the sovereign community today. Okay, let's move into steps to your sovereign self.
My next question for you is when did you finally feel like you were able to prioritize your own expansion over people's comfort of you expanding? What a good question. So I believe massively in friendship and community and I don't think I would have been able to navigate the loss of some friendships had I not had the new ones that had come through or the solid ones I had. I think life can be really lonely if you try and do this work on your own and you probably won't like the reality is you will not let go of people if they're all you've got. If they are the only ones that you have you're not going to let them go you're just going to put up with it and you're going to deal with it and you're going to dim your light to make them comfortable and you're just going to stay in that spiral. Because it's easier right and we just want life to be easy and we don't want to cause drama we don't want to cause chaos and we don't want to hurt anybody. So only when you can call in those aligned connections the friends that really see you for you and if you're lucky enough that you have those that say why are you allowing them to treat you like that why are you allowing them to say that about you.
Why do you spend time with that person why do you do that why do you say this only then was I able to look at it because I think I would have always just got on with it and I would have just put up with it because I can handle it and I always had compassion for other people and not so much for myself. So even if I knew it was wrong I would say gosh they're having a really bad day sucks to be them that they have to project on me but I can handle it because I have got a strong sense of self and a strong mindset and I'm fine. But I guess I didn't realize that was kind of keeping me small because it was subconsciously having me doubt my abilities and my confidence because even though I was saying I don't mind I can handle it it doesn't affect me it was penetrating and it was affecting my confidence it was keeping me still. And only when I stepped away from them and they fell apart did I start leaning in to more of my purpose more of my confidence speaking out online doing all the things that were courageous and I needed to be brave for because I had those lifting me up not putting me down and I just think the best thing that only thought sort of advice I can give that's through my lived experiences make sure you surround yourself with people that make you feel good and let go of those that don't and you get to choose and it's really hard and I totally get it and I come across women and
people all the time that don't let them go and you're only ever hurt in yourself and you're hurting them by keeping them there because they're not for you and you need to let them fly and it's sometimes it's that thing you know if you love someone let them go because you can love someone and know they're not good for you like it's really hard and this is why spiritual growth is dark it's not but of lies and rainbows it's gnarly it's inner work it's shadow work it's really difficult but you really will benefit if you can be courageous and brave and let people go because it is the surroundings that we keep up with. I love this conversation so much because I'm really feeling the energy of building a legacy is embracing and embodying the feminine which is more softness but also the masculine which is the strength right so we can go from a grounded gentleness to this fiery ambition as well and it gives us all a sense of let's build a legacy that we are leaving behind in this.
