The TENE film club meets again to take on the dreaded Black Legion! The boys watch two films, Legion of Terror (1936) and Black Legion (1937) starring Humphrey Bogart, as well as two radio plays, an episode of True Detective Mysteries (1937) and another entitled "The White Legion" (1938) on the original superhero serial, The Shadow. They compare these representations to the actual white supremacist terrorists and examine how each piece of media reflects the political culture of interwar America in its own way.
