He charged desperate folks up to 15,000 pounds per treatment, promising easy fixes even for terminal cases. He targeted patients the NHS couldn't help anymore. Another was a terminally ill woman with ovarian cancer, whose family showed up between 10,000 and 12,000 pounds after he bashed the health service for supposedly killing patients just to profit. Dr. Ali had worked in the UK since 2001, held a full license until 2015, but kept treating cancer patients into 20, 18, despite being unlicensed.
