Ja: 夏の京都、祇園祭で町はにぎわっていました。
En: In summer Kyoto, the Gion Festival filled the town with excitement.

Ja: 提灯が輝き、甘いお菓子の香りが漂います。
En: Lanterns shone brightly, and the sweet aroma of confections wafted through the air.

Ja: そんな中、ハルトは初めての京都を歩いていました。
En: Amidst this, Harto was walking through Kyoto for the first time.

Ja: 彼は日本の伝統文化をもっと知りたくて、旅行に来たのです。
En: He had come on this trip wanting to learn more about traditional Japanese culture.
