2:03Boone came out and said Aaron Boone manager the Yankee said that judge is not going to play in the wildcard series. The initial plan when they put them on the 10 days in injured list was to activate him game 162, which is already a stupid idea. And for those who missed it, Aaron Judge had an injury, rib injury, you know, he was gone for two and a half months. They bring him back no rehab, basically no rehab assignment and then he gets hurt, you know, 10 hours. And now he's heard again. And it sounds like what they said today, Boone said the plan is for him not to be available against most likely the Red Sox in that wildcard series next week. The Yankees listen in that Al, they're going to have a chance. Let's call it one without him this year. It's caused me to spade. They got great starting pitching. A Yankee fan would disagree with me, but I like the bullpen. I think they got great arms out of the pen. And I think the one through nine is decent enough. Does Aaron judge make them different gravy? One of the best swuggers of all time. Absolutely. But it's Colin.

3:03And I love my New Yorker fan that's listen, you know this. I don't have them coming out of the a.o. I don't have them coming out of the a with judges that change things. No, he's heard. I agree. He's not going to walk in a fully healthy judge. We have a conversation. Keep in mind though, Aaron is struggled in the playoffs. That's been his stick. I'm not going to really last year. I'm not going to pin this on Aaron judge. If he walks in in the division series and you know, he goes to for 30. I'm not going to pin that on. He's hurt. Guys, guys hurt. What are you going to do? I think it's a rough calf injury. They gave him like some peptides in plant, something like that to try to speed up the healing process. I think what is that? Tell you though, Kyle, that tells you they want. They know the a.o. is weak. The fact that they're speeding them up that he didn't do a rehab assignment that they're already dealing with experimental peptides for, you know, the lights. I don't know. It just shows that the Yankees know that this is a week. This is a week.o and that it's very takeable.

4:03The Yankees, the red socks, the Indians, the white socks, the rays. It's not great. Dude, it's wide open. And that's why you know, all my Indian fans out there, they're really excited. They think they think they're, you know, our Cleveland team has a chance. They, they, technically they do because it's so wide open. Yeah. And listen, Tampa Bay rays, they've had an excellent season. They had a lot of guys who could hit. They put the ball in play. They're doing it intentionally and excellent baseball team. They're good at all the little stuff. They nobody develops pitching better than Tampa Bay. Just ball non throughout the league. But another thing about them is, you know, always trust some in the postseason. They were a regular season dominated team. They always have been. It has always been the Yankees that have been that thorn on the side. And all of a sudden, if we get into a playoff series in the Yankees pitching versus the raised pitch, that's favorite of the Yankees. But the Yankees hitting with especially out Aaron judge and no stanton. That makes it difficult because you're going to need a postseason riser. And we don't really know who that is on the Yankees.

5:03None of the young infielders forget it. And you're, you're asking, you know, Belinger and Grisham to start, you know, raking. It's not going to happen. What are your thoughts there? Well, it's like, you know, probably hours go by, you take a break from working, you take a look at the ESPN app and I'm like, oh, the first two stories, dark injuries, worst and expected and judge going to miss the first series of Yankees in the darkness. It's like the dark is far worse because like you, you hope it's not a lost season.

9:05But the Yankees, it does feel like a lost season if they can't do anything like they're expected to make the playoffs and now, judges in there, they're, they're, they're toast without him. The lineup just has no, has no protection. Very, very upsetting on both fronts. Now, Steve, the, the A.O. is weak though. The A.O. I mean, you see, they got great pitching. They got great pitching, great bullpen. You don't think they get sneak maybe to a world series, even if they're without judge. I don't see without judge. I just don't think there's enough eating there. You know, and we were going through it yesterday. One of my kids and I like, who are you even playing? Like it is Anthony Volpe or jazz chism or like, do you start to say we have no bats, put rice back at catcher, put jazz back at third because we got to get any kind of offense in like there's so, you know, because you still have, you have bulge mitt, you have Garcia, Spencer Jones, it's just really, really scary.

10:09I will say Ben Rice, he's going to have 40 home runs this season. Steve, you know, Belinger has the home run threat. You have boppers in the lineup. The only reason, the only reason I'm still on this is that the cast members, the white socks, the Indians, the red socks, not that much more threatening. I think the raise or the team to beat, give him credit. They're going to 100 games are going to win the A.O. But like, Steve, the A.O. is wide open. So that's true. I talked to think that the Yankees could get there without judge. I didn't probably be more of a statement about the A.O. And it's kind of this situation on baseball where you just have this lights out, itching and just a handful of guys that can really, really hurt you. And I mean hurt you in all ways, guys at home runs, but guys track out. Very few. The Yankees have not played well without judge. And I don't think they believe in themselves without judge, no matter how many fiery speeches

11:10they're in, Boone wants to make. You're right. The whole league is down. The whole A.O. is down. You've more strength in the national league that I agree with. And baseball is funky. It isn't just like, okay, this team on paper and that team on paper. It's who's hot at the right time. Who's bullpen is rested. I'm with you. I'm not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but I think very few people would say without Aaron Judge, the Yankees chances of making it better. You could also say that perhaps there's going to be a little bit of an alleviated pressure on the Yankees knowing that they don't have judge. Maybe they can play a little bit more free. When you have judge in the lineup and judges, especially that hitting coach has been a lot of his postseason career. The rest of the lineup kind of shriveled because they realized that, you know, we need to pick up the slack. That would be a string Aaron along. If he's not in the lineup, nobody's really expecting them to be as dangerous, perhaps not a World Series. So maybe that takes a little bit of pressure off them. If I'm looking for a silver lining here and that is just me.

12:11No, but yeah, you know, that is an angle. Colin, but you know, we talked about the other day. Like when the Yankees were celebrating, making the playoffs, I know that's a baseball tradition. It's an expectation. I know they've been through a lot. They've also had lights out pitching. I don't think there's any kind of relief. Oh, judge wasn't with us here. I think that's more like, okay, where was it? Where was the hitting from everybody else who was signed? And I know we can battle to the Yankees. What level of quality of team was this? But look, you guys risk. I mean, you're a guardian fan. You hate the Yankees type of like what they stand for. Right? You're not saying, oh, you know, they didn't have judge. So I give them a pass this year. Ironically, I am. Steve, I am. So it's, it's to the point though, where I don't think the seasons over like I think they could make a world series. I think if they could get past Tampa Bay race, they could get lucky with a Ben Rice homer,

13:11a belly homer, Trent Grisham, they have guys. Got to be sat in the management. Correct. I don't know if they're going to get that from Boone or not. At the Yankees get to the world series out of the A.L. without judge. That's an accomplishment. Even if they get swept, if the Yankees get swept by the Dodgers or by the Brewers or by the Cubbies Atlanta, whoever it may be, I still think it's a successful season. Yeah, I don't think you're getting there. No, no, let me ask you this. Let me ask you this. If the Yankees aren't coming, going, coming out of the A.L., who do you think has the best chance to? Can I, can I go in that one? Well, he got his uncle, Steve, it's why I ask it. You know what I mean? If it's not the Yankees, then who is it, Tampa Bay? I mean, yeah, I think it's a race. We sleep on the race. They do this every year where they're just competitive and they get the timely hitting and it's not sexy. And they have strong, they have strong hitting when it matters to have a bullpen.

14:14Whoever, and you're right, it is still circumstantial of who's out at the right time. But I would think the Braves, I think the Brewers, I think the Dodgers. I think the Clubs, I think the Dodgers, they're all there. They are. The Phillies. Yeah, the NL's going to be a Gauntlet. NL's going to be a great. There's not that of a thing. I can't wait to watch it. But it's seriously though, someone has to come out of it. You know, that's a hysterical part about it. I'm a Boston. They got, are they going to beat the Yankees in the win? Yeah, that's the thing. Are they going to beat the Yankees in the Wild? It's an emotional win over the Yankees. That will be a pesky series, then, versus the race. That would be that right now, right? That would be it. That'd be a pesky series. I think that that emotional high, that's getting hot. You know, that's a, that's a dangerous team. But that would be it. It would be Yankees versus the Red Sox. And then the White Sox would play the winner of the ALS. The White Sox or the winner of the AL Central, depending on who has the best record. The, the Central is going to have the better record. Yeah. So it's going to be the Central. So I'll be the Guardians in the squad. Okay. Okay.

15:14But I mean, that's just how it goes. Yep. Steve, to the Giants, did you think the season was over when the Dart play happened last night early in the first quarter? I didn't initially because it's just the angle of it looked more, oh, that looked like a bad game. Maybe I was just hoping, but we were all analyzing it from every way. And what are they whispering in hard buzz here right now? And other dart, they haven't ruled them out. They took a while for them to rule out because he said it was guess who was trying to come back in the game and trying to come out of the game. Maybe that's positive. And this news that the injury could be worse than initially feared is just devastating because we'll not know. Now everyone was hyped about the Giants after last week. It's a long time fan. I was like, I'm not going crazy here with a very good win. Let's let three weeks settle in so we can get a, so we can get enough exposure on all these teams to see what they're like. Like I don't know if the Cowboys are good or bad after that one week.

16:15I assume I feel like they're better after we do. So the problem though is did you see Winston, of course you saw Winston, it was hard to watch. So I love James Winston big fan. Way back, you know, in the heyday of the Stephen Craig show, James Winston was the quarterback at Florida State. We love those times. You have so much to talk about. He's a character off the field. And he just, he is like he had a dead arm. He threw 180 innings somehow this season. It's hard. No, it was a, that was a, it was, it's time to hang him up game. That was a time, it's time to hang him up. Let me hope you, Steve. It looked like he's got to get those first team reps. Oh, stop. And let's see what's there. Obviously you got to go out and sign somebody and I wake up and I say to my Sunday, is it odd that I'm saying, I wish we had drew lock who is worthless as a giant. And then I'll look at that guy. Now, Steve, it looked like James Winston was focusing on his broadcast and career in

17:17the off season. That's exactly what he was doing. I'm at your mercy, Steve. I watched that game. Dark God hurt Winston came in. I'm like, wait a minute. This guy's still in the NFL. He has done, he has been relevant in every verse, but football for the last 12 months. I know I, I, I could have sworn I saw him on the Thursday night broadcast last week. That's where I am at with James Winston. No, it wasn't. Is it? You get what I'm saying? Those Steve, it's been everything but football with him. Yep, it has been and, you know, the giant's been bringing like a tall enough competition for him, you know, to beat out this year. I think they look at him more as a really good veteran in dark ear, which he is. I mean, James is like easy character. You love him. I'm not saying they I'm not ready to annoyed the giants after week one. I'm not ready to say the Rams were done after week week one. I'm not ready to say that James Winston can't be competitive. If you remember how bad Russell Wilson was last year, do you remember the first two weeks

18:19how bad Russell Wilson was? And then he had he threw for a record record 450 plus yards in a giant game against the cowboy. Yeah, it was great. It can happen. It can happen. So I'm not ready to say that he is completely toast. Quite yet. Steve, can I sell you Shedore Sanders for a third round pick? Come on. You watch the door. I don't think in any scenario, John Harbott, yeah, I watch the door. All right. All right. Third round pick was passed on to Sean Watson. I'll go see if I was reaching with the third round pick. How about a fifth round pick for Shedore Sanders? You know what, Dylan Gabriel is available as well. Any interest? That's it. Yeah. Why are you trying to trade the shot? I don't want to hear one fool for Dishon, watching on Sunday. You want to say that? I mean, I would disagree with that. A fan has every right to do what they want to do. He's your coach. He's your coach. See what do you say? You can't criticize your coach. He's your coach. If he comes out and said that, what would you recommend to fans to do? You say that's our coach. I would recommend the fans to do whatever the hell they want because that's for their prerogative. But my take on it is dude watching and booing him. What's that going to do? It's probably only going to hurt the team in the end. I want to win. Steve, there are a lot of factions with brown fans. And this is the plan team. There's the, there's the fact there's the Shadour Sanders faction. There's the, the, I am the faction that just wants to win. Give me the people that are going to give me the best chance to win. It this guy thinks that Dishon Watson who has all those issues is the best player that

As a fan, should you be rooting for your team until you're mathematically eliminated? Should you say, hey, we're playing the games. We're left eye checked. We're only two weeks into the season. We're not out of the playoffs yet. Why are we supposed to root to lose every week to maybe get archmanning? Yeah. And just fan. It should have a job. It should have a job. Steve. No, is it is it to is it? I should be like, should we have this debate yesterday? Should dolphins fans should brown fans? Anybody who looks terrible right now? Be rooting against their team or should they say, hey, wait, anything can happen. You're mathematically eliminated or until it's apparent that this season is a wash.

22:26Why should I on a Sunday not wake up and say, hey, I'm rooting for my team to win today. So that's, you know, that's where we are now. I always move from my team to win. I went, Steve, I went to every brown home game for four years of my life. And sadly, two of those years was one in 31. You know, I'm the fan that roots every week for us to win, but I'm also realistic. And I know it's few and far in between is the smart move to probably try to position yourself to get your pick of the litter of a quarterback probably. But Steve, I ask you who the hell is the go to quarterback in this loaded quarterback track class? Five foot 10 Trinidad, John Blitz in the AFC Nord show some respect. Dude, I'm all good on the short quarterback. I did Johnny Manzell. I did Baker Mayfield. Steve I'm with you. I root for my team to win, but I'm a realist as well. Yep. Now, I heard there was some story. What are some, was there a story you were trying to withhold from me?

I think teams pulling the plug on these out of conference matchups means that they need to expand the playoff quickly. You're going to give us a little bit of protection here. And once they do that, I imagine they'll stick with these lines because then seating will matter a whole lot more to resume and they will need to create resume in order to create seating.
