The Tar Heels men's squad scooped up honors for the 2025 and 2026 academic years with players like Diego, Jerry, Nick Mangiapane, and Dennis Perumov earning Tar Heels Scholar. Delegate status for holding a GPA of 3.2 or higher. Diego, Jerry, stood out even more, landing academic all-district and all-Atlantic coast conference academic team nods while Nick Mangiapane, Anthony. Wright and Chris Shoe joined him on that ACC squad.
