UK Equality Watchdog Keeps Eye on McDonald's Harassment

Earlier this year in November, they extended a legal agreement because more problems popped up. That deal started over three years ago, right after a big BBC report in July 2023 exposed issues at the company. Over 100 workers came forward back then, talking about harassment, assaults, racism, and bullying. Some as young as 17. McDonald's admitted they fell short, apologized deeply, and set up a special unit for complaints. Now more than 700 current and former staff are suing, saying the company failed to protect them.
