UCLA football media day, Cronin interview, Tim Harris

In this edition of the BROCast, Dave and Tracy talk about what they learned from UCLA football media day, the latest on the Trent Hendrick recruitment, their interview with Mick Cronin, and the news that Tim Harris is evaluating UCLA athletics. We led off with a discussion of media day. It was the first time UCLA has done a media day in years, and it was a great event. We talked about some of the things we learned from talking to the players, and what we might glean from who was available. We then talked about Trent Hendrick, the former JMU linebacker, getting added to the TRO and presumably gaining eligibility for this coming season, and what factors might play into whether UCLA has a chance to get him. We switched gears to basketball to talk about our interview with Mick Cronin (Part 1 and Part 2), and some of our key takeaways from the hour and 20 minutes. Finally, we ended talking about Lakers exec Tim Harris being enlisted to evaluate UCLA Athletics by Julio Frenk, and what that could mean for the Athletic Department.
