UCF Stuns Utah in Salt Lake City

Themas folks topped the Knights with 24 points, and hit his only two free throws of the Knight with just three seconds left to seal it. Jordan Birch chipped in 14 points as UCF shot 53% from the field, including 44% from beyond the arc. The Knights now stand in 19-7 overall, 8-6 in Big 12 play, riding a two-game win streak after dropping three straight. Utah fought back hard with Terence Brown scoring 21. Don McHenry adding 19, and Keanu Dawes posting 15 points plus 12. Rebounds. The game seesawed late, with threes and free throws keeping it dead even until the final moments. This victory boosts UCF to four wins and zero losses all time against Utah, their first ever in Salt Lake City after previous meetings at home. Or, neutral sights. Last year, the Knights dominated 72-87, and the Big 12 tournament opener.

1:03No Big 12 team has missed the NCAA tournament after a winning conference record since 2009, so UCF stays squarely in the mix. They head to No. 23 BYU on Monday, while Utah welcomes No. 6 Iowa State on Tuesday.
