UCF Knights' NCAA Loss: A Tough End to Season

They failed to the UCLA Bruins 75-71 in Philadelphia, marking their only game in the big dance and ending the year at 21, wins and 12 losses. The Knights jumped out fast with the first six points, but UCLA quickly tied it up and built a lead. About half time, the Bruins were ahead 35-27 after heating up from the field while UCF struggled to keep pace. Fans saw some fight from UCF in the second half as they clawed back within three points at one stage, sparked by key plays from their guards. But UCLA regained control, pushing the gap to 14 late, forcing the Knights into comeback mode that fell just short. Standout Jordan Berks led all scores with 22 points, including some big threes, while UCLA's air daily junior had 20. UCF hurt themselves with just five of 16 free throws and 37.5% shooting overall.
