Heads up if you're heading to the University of Alabama for Golden Flake A-Day, or the concert at Savenfield at Bryant-Dinney Stadium. Several parking lots around the north and west sides of the stadium are shutting down starting Friday, April 10th at 5pm. All vehicles need to be out of those spots by then, including the communications reserve lot, behind the College of Communication and Information. Sciences, the Northwest BDS Aperin Lot, and the lots along Wallace Wade Avenue. This means drivers, especially faculty and staff who park their daily, will feel the squeeze during the big event week. UA safety is pointing folks to other options like the Tut Wiler Triangle Lot, Tut Wiler Parking Deck, Magnolia Parking Deck, North Ten Horde Deck, and East Ten Hore Lot to keep things moving. These closures stick around through April 13th to 19, so plan ahead and stay smooth on campus. From your city, powered by AI, this is Birmingham News Today.
