Now, back to Kentucky and a gardening brought to you by Nans and Craft Forest. Have a question for Ray? Welcome back to Kentucky and I'm talking about the maintenance of plants. Got a collar on the land. Good morning. How are you today? Oh, yeah. You know, I'm wondering if you know about the quality of water, especially fracking water. I noticed recently the state of Texas is going to allow fracking water to be used in agriculture. And if I understand right, every different county or every different region of the country that does fracking, the stone is different in every region, right? And so the fracking water of one county might be totally poisonous versus another part that blind stone might be totally different than quartz, right?
So do you have any idea of what's going on with this fracking water in agriculture and whether or not we're getting suckered into allowing polluted water to be used in agriculture? Well, the moisture is there and no matter what, regardless of whether it's in the fracking part of it or you know, it's kind of like in the older days they would have a weld. They would dig the hoe, go down so far and the water would come in and it's purified and for drinking. I'm sure that probably they've taken all of that into consideration. I don't think that they're going to our government would set us up to fail or to be able to do something. You know, as like I was watching on TV this morning, they were talking about, you know, your health and the types of foods that you need to eat and moderation as far as eating if you're dieting and, you know, the fast foods and all the different things or whatever. But I made this comment to a lady that was in the store yesterday and you know, I said,
the thing that amazes me is, is 10 years ago something was good for you and 10 years later today, something's bad for you. So you know, I think they're always going to find something good in anything and everything that they want to promote. But until they've got a period of time or whatever of which they can do the testing of this and I don't know how many pollutants or whatever go into our surface water depending upon, you know, the agriculture and what they're spraying and what they're doing and what moisture is coming in or whatever. I can only hope that the people that are in charge of that smarter than I am and you sound like you're pretty intelligent to be even caring about something like this. So that's, I guess that's my answer. I just hope that most of these people are qualified to be able to do that. So, but anyway, I appreciate your question and going back, I guess, to where I was and talking about, kind of like what I was just talking about, you know, the 10 year thing and,
you know, it's good for you 10 years ago and it's bad for you today after they've done all these different studies. You know, it's always interesting. I guess we're kind of at the mercy of, you know, all the different organizations and things out there, you know, that we put our lives in every day. It's just like just going to the fast food place or somebody else to fix your meal and, you know, I was watching a commercial this morning and they was doing a tall salad and, you know, was watching and they didn't have any gloves on. And I think, you know, about all the times that we take the risk of the foods that we eat and the different things that we put into our mouth about hoping that the people that are in charge of doing that are taking that into risk, but anyway.
