Good evening to women of fighting for life tonight. After their car was hit by a police wagon, the crash sending both vehicles into separate houses at Bosley Park. The officers were urgently responding to an emergency involving a child when the collision happened. The two innocent victims, a woman and her niece, were on their way to the shops. Rushing to save a young woman's life. I just heard a silent and I had a bang. A 21-year-old P-plater, T-boneed by a police wagon racing to a job at Bosley Park. The impact so violent, the red-keyers speared through a metal fence and into a house. We couldn't do anything because the car was squashed. The driver and her 50-year-old aunt trapped in the wreckage unconscious. Yeah, no talking, no crying, just bleeding. The police vehicle slamming into a neighbouring property police say they were responding under lights and siren to reports of a child on a road.

The driver and passenger, both constables aged 24, uninged. I said, are you all right? Is everything okay? Is all you? The two women were on their way to the local shops just after midday when they were hit, just 200 metres from home. The crash terrifyingly close to claiming another victim. The occupants of this household, Seven News, the room where the car landed, is their baby son's bedroom. And that it was only by chance they weren't home when it happened, otherwise the child would have been enjoying his midday nap. A critical incident investigation has been launched as the two women fight for life in hospital. Clementine Cunio, Seven News.
