On April 2nd, Turnstiles' former guitarist, Brady Ebert, got arrested on charges of second-degree attempted murder and first-degree assault after. Allegedly running over the father of the band's frontman, Brendan Yates, with his car. This went down on March 29th in Maryland, leaving William Yates with serious leg injuries, but he made it through surgery and is on the road, to recovery. The band put out a statement saying they cut ties with Ebert back in 2022 because of his ongoing harmful behavior that hurt him, the group and folks around them. They tried everything to get him help, but threats of violence forced their hand. Ebert showed up at the family's house honking and yelling at Yates' daughter and her husband as they grabbed their kids. William came out to warn them, and that's when Ebert swerved his vehicle right at him in the driveway, striking him hard before veering toward the. Daughter and her three-year-old son, then speeding off. Ebert helped star Turnstile back in 2010 and stuck around through their big album Glow On before leaving.

He tried a new project called The SET, dropping in debut EP in March, but even they fired him earlier this year. The band says they've got no words left forever after years of his public rants in escalating threats, and they're just focusing on William's full.
