Trump Slams NATO, Threatens Ukraine Aid

Trump also ripped into NATO allies for dragging their feet on sending warships to the Strait of Hormuz amid the ongoing war with Iran. He mimicked Macron with a fake French accent, begging for ships right away to secure the Strait where 20% of the world's oil flows daily, but getting a no-can-do after the war is won. Later that night in a national address, Trump said the U.S. military is close to crushing Iran and urged Europe to step up, grab and protect that, vital waterway themselves. NATO countries have held back, leaving the U.S. to handle most of the heavy lifting while Tehran slams ships with drones and missiles, sparking the worst oil crisis ever, with prices spiking toward $200 a barrel and recession fears growing worldwide.
