This message comes from NPR sponsor Paramount Plus and the new original series The Madison. Taylor Sheridan's most intimate story yet. The Madison follows a family raised in a world of digital distraction, forced by tragedy to truly see one another and come together. Starring Michelle Pfeiffer and Kurt Russell, The Madison, new series streaming now only on Paramount Plus. Secretary Hexeth said that this morning when he was giving his speech on the Monroe doctrine that this is not a forever war and providing relief and and and hopefully regime change the Iranian people is a noble cause and it has a direct impact here in the United States. I think the challenge from a messaging standpoint to me the biggest challenge is connecting all of this back to China because that's really what I think is the heart of of this entire fight. It puts Venezuela in context and it puts Iran in context and and that's the piece of this

puzzle that I'm waiting to see I'm hoping that the administration will do more of this next week to really explain that this was about putting China in a corner strangling their hold over oil and beginning to not only use the diplomatic and the tariff side which we know is is a part of this plan but now boots on the ground so close and and notice who hasn't come to the defense of Iran. China. China is not bombing Turkey. China is not bombing Sri Lanka or these other places, the UAE, these other places in the region that have been hit and I think that's also very interesting. So I don't know that the messaging arc has done yet I think we'll see a lot more this week and I'm really hopeful that they'll connect all the dots back to China. All right guys good Thursday. Wow do we have a lot to break down? I ran the Texas primary, the dishonesty of Abigail Spanberger in Virginia. No shortage of things to get to and we are going to have some fun. President Trump though despite all of the talk from the media is actually flying high

CNN forced to admit that President Trump has an 86% approval rating among folks in the party that is higher than Obama and Bush both enjoyed during their thing so when CNN has to admit it you know that you're doing well the press the White House obviously very much in full court press mode by the way getting it all out there speaking of full court press. If I didn't tell you before I've got a brand new radio show on Sundays at 10 a.m. on sub 77 W ABC you can check it out download the app if you're not in the New York City area but I'm going to tell you we've got a lot to break down because the coverage from the media both in Iran and of what's going on on ice and illegal is just downright despicable and we're going to show you a couple examples because these guys are so out of touch it's it's I mean I get the TDS part of this but it is pretty unbelievable. Tomorrow by the way John Solomon joins us I know Steve Bannon was here but I think he's whining about the I'm kidding he's having he's down in Texas dealing with this whole primary I have a harder time getting Steve Bannon to lock in on a schedule than I do getting the president on

the phone if that tells you anything but on Monday by the way an unbelievable show that you'll see nowhere else. Adam King Cade is going to join us once again to break down where we are state by state in redistricting. The whole show this is something you will not see anywhere else trust me and then on Tuesday the folks from media research center will break down a lot of what's happening in the media and Seth Kesel our buddy who is so great about understanding redistricting will join us on Friday so a huge week by the way my book is out there Trump 2.0 go to Amazon and order it now before I get into bringing the panel in though I got to tell you I look forward on Friday to having Glenn's story on the CEO of Patriot Mobile I tell you guys this all the time we vote with our wallets every single day obviously November is when we vote for candidates but who we choose what brands we support what brands we don't what we tune into and I am so excited to be partnered with Patriot Mobile because they are not just a great wireless provider but they're a great company that stands with us when it comes to our values they support using their profits to support second amendment issues and groups veterans organizations pro life organizations this is the kind of stuff

instead of seeing the profits from the big companies go to woke ideology and and causes you know that with Patriot Mobile you're getting a great wireless company great service you can keep your phone you just give them a quick call literally it's it's the same network that everything else runs on they've got international roaming hot spots all that kind of stuff but you are literally supporting a company that aligns with your values you can probably upgrade your phone if you want to but you get to keep all the stuff that you love about it right now take a stand today go to Patriot Mobile dot com slash spicy or give them a call at 972 Patriot Patriot Mobile dot com and here's what I'm going to offer you right now if you go do this I'm going to give you one month free yeah that's me offering you something for free one month of free cell phone service you go to Patriot Mobile dot com slash spicy or give them a call at 972 Patriot I told you guys time and time again that I've made better sleep part of my wellness journey because it's at the core you don't get a good night sleep you it's it's nothing that's matters and beam stream powder has been at the core this this is my favorite you guys know this the cinnamon cocoa flavor the bag is crushed

this one brownie I love love a good brownie I've crushed that bag as well but it's got five amazing ingredients Raci Apigen El Thin and Magnesium and Melatonin all in one amazing little blend here and every night 30 minutes before I go to bed I take it I live putting it in the microwave some people don't like it when I travel I can't there's no microwave in the hotel but I'm telling you every single night is part of my routine and then I fall asleep stay asleep wake up feeling refreshed because it is all natural that's the way to go and right now if you've been waiting for the perfect time to say I want to be like Sean I want a good night sleep then beam stream powder is giving you that opportunity they're giving my listeners the ultimate Patriot discount go to shop beam BEM shop beam dot com slash spicy or use code spicer and get 40% off whoa yeah I said it 40% off you're not going to get that deal anywhere else so go to shop beam dot com slash spicy or use code word spicer and you will remember you will thank me for this a great night sleep is coming your way or someone that you know has a horrible time sleeping it's a great gift for them all right this episode is brought to you by colaguard do you know what's really scary not screening for

colon cancer when you turn 45 the colaguard test is not invasive requires no special prep or time off work and shifts right to your door in just three simple steps colaguard takes the scare out of colon cancer screening if you're 45 or older and at average risk ask your health care provider about the colaguard test colaguard is available by prescription only learn more or request a prescription today at colaguard dot com slash screen let me bring in the panel to break it all down our good friend at the Sentinel action fund Jessica Anderson for the first time I didn't believe this when we talked about this but Elizabeth Pipco former national spokesman a former colleague on the 2016 campaign up there in New York and now all over the internet doing commentary and my former colleague at Newsmax who's got a brand new book out which is so timely America leads the world in medicine development it matters we get new medicines first nearly three years faster five million Americans go to work because we make medicines here at home and not relying on other countries keeps us

but China is racing to overtake us will we let them or will we choose to stay ahead when America leads America cures let's tell Washington to keep us in the lead learn how at america cures dot com paid for by pharma uh John Bachman the book turning point how Reagan liberated Grenada and won the Cold War John Bachman good to see you good to see you all panel by the way I didn't mean to just limit that to John Bachman great to see here yeah yeah I mean I forget by the way I was out last night and I had this I won't even tell you who uh John I'll get this and it's funny we're talking about being on the show and we're I was at the journey concert not to name name drop here and so instead like uh you know it's been so long since they've been on the show and I was like well you know you've been on it since I left Newsmax like they were like you're right I they've forgotten I guess no one pays attention to the backdrop anymore um but anyway just you know John I want to the thing that's so timely about your book right now is on October 25th

1983 president Reagan launched probably one of the most successful invasions in modern history right it was called Operation Urgent Fury and here we have opera you know epic fury I mean like I don't know if somebody was like hey we've got a good example what what now that you've looked at this and can see and report as you do all the time in your Newsmax show like what what are the similarities or the differences between what happened in Grenada in 1983 and right now well I think you know one of the interesting things about both being named epic fury versus urgent fury is you know we've been told Sean so much that there are basically only two options when it comes to Republicans and foreign policy and that is isolationism being one of the options and then these forever wars being the other completely opposite difference and what we learned about Operation Urgent Fury is there's a third way you can go into a country you can liberate that country from a brutal Marxist dictatorship and also restore democracy without doing all the things that we did wrong in Iraq and and that I think is one of the one of the main similarities we see

with Ronald Reagan's foreign policy and Donald Trump's foreign policy we also you know had the operation in Venezuela where we went in there removed the Maduro and now we are kind of changing that country as well the key take away I hope everybody gets from this book is the importance of upholding the Monroe doctrine and the Roosevelt corollary which basically says you know we have to control the entire western hemisphere we have to make make sure that we a fight for western ideals otherwise somebody else is going to back then of course it was the Soviets now it's the Chinese which is our main adversary but a lot of the themes are the same in the book and it's you know it was it was fascinating to write you know it took me four and a half years I didn't plan on coordinating it with Operation Epic Fury but here we are it's funny you mentioned that because I always tell people you can hit you can either launch a book and it's perfectly time for like circumstances or you can go into a black hole because you know something happens you know and

circumstances just don't you know allow Elizabeth one of the things that's interesting I mentioned you and I were on the 2016 campaign the big division in the media right now is trying to talk about there's massive divisions in MAGA and oh my god all this I agree with what John Bachman just said which is this I and here's the thing Trump is three for three like this isn't just the first rodeo he's basically shown in an epic fury midnight I mean a midnight hammer an absolute result that like you go in you accomplish something you get out it doesn't mean that you've got to be there for a hundred years or you know this idea that they're trying to claim that it's a forever war it's six days old how can it be a forever war at six days old but but you have your finger on the pulse of MAGA you talk to a lot of these folks you've been very outspoken on the defensive Israel like what is your take you know I think when it comes to MAGA I don't know how many people want to recognize it because it helps you know that narrative in the media that claims that we're divided but the reality is there's really only one divide and it's a really really tiny one and it's

kind of 98 percent of MAGA which is the voters then there's the 2 percent which are those podcasters that are kind of just dying for relevancy they seem angry but they always kind of seem a little bit angry because at a time like this you can use that anger to get some clicks on Twitter X whatever we're calling it these days I don't really talk to anybody who's confused about what's going on here anyone that voted for Trump especially voted for Trump all three times has followed his career for quite some time now was very aware of exactly what he wanted to do with Iran he talked about in every single campaign speech from 2015 up until this point he mentioned that he doesn't believe in forever wars and also mentioned that he would do whatever it took to make sure Iran did not have that nuclear weapon and I think coming off the heels of Joe Biden's presidency we're talking about wars from you know everyone wants to reference the Iraq war what about what happened in Gaza what about what happened in Ukraine these are wars that were going on because Joe Biden was literally funding them flip flopping back and forth and had no clue how to end them or was pretending he wanted to end them but actually did not because he was making some money off of them the reality is Donald Trump is showing absolutely what it takes to do

something differently from Democrats and for Republicans of the past like you said he's three for three this war six days in he obliterated the Iatola with the help of our ally literally with no one knowing it was coming obviously those troops losing their lives is the worst part of all this and we should unite it on that part and not arguing anything else we have plenty of time to see what happens with this but so far Donald Trump has proven very much that he is the most consistent politician we've ever seen and I think Maga absolutely knows that Jessica what's your take if I have a little bit of criticism and it's tough because having sat in the seat it's sometimes tough to like I don't I want to be fair but I will say this the message discipline has been challenging and I get it there are different roles that people play Pete Hagset the Secretary of War General Dan Cain is the chairman Secretary of State Marco Rubio warns about the foreign policy so not everybody has the same jurisdiction obviously but I do think that like when you're hearing different things trying to from different people the American people are like so wait why are we

doing this what what's the right I understand like I'm not be I'm trying not to be completely critical but I do think that like the consistency about what we're doing and why we're doing it probably needs a little refining well I think the best way to answer that is to go back to what president Trump himself as the commander in chief has said and he's done he said two things he said Iran can never have a nuclear weapon and the first attempt at that was successful with the bomb strikes that were targeted just a few months ago but then in that absence because we weren't there right because we didn't send boots on the ground because it wasn't a forever war they were able to recoup and then rumors began started through intelligence that additional nukes might be in development which then led to this weekend and so I think the story from the original strike to this past weekend is actually one that I'm really interested in seeing if that's ever gonna come

come out to the public's view because I think a lot happened between that first very narrow strike and then what we saw on Saturday but I think the second thing that the president has said and and actually Secretary Hegseth said that this morning when he was giving his speech on the Monroe doctrine that this is not a forever war and providing relief and and and and hopefully regime change the Iranian people is a noble cause and it has a direct impact here in the United States I think the challenge from a messaging standpoint to me the biggest challenge is connecting all of this back to China because that's really what I think is the heart of of this entire fight it puts Venezuela in context and it puts Iran in context and and that's the piece of this puzzle that I'm waiting to see I'm hoping that the administration will do more of this next week to really explain that this was about putting China in a corner strangling their hold over oil

and beginning to not only use the diplomatic and the tariff side which we know is is a part of this plan but now boots on the ground so close and and notice who hasn't come to the defense of Iran China China is not bombing Turkey China is not bombing Sri Lanka or these other places the UAE these other places in the region that have been hit and I think that's also very interesting so I don't know that the messaging arc has done yet I think we'll see a lot more this week and I'm really hopeful that they'll connect all the dots back to China John Bachman I mean you talk about how long it took you to write a book right and and and then you but you also have a show every day so you're kind of the perfect person to follow on what Jessica was just saying which is the following I'm with her I believe that the one message that's not getting out is we've choked off China's oil from Venezuela and China's oil from Iran that has a massive economic impact on them in particular okay secondly the military precision in all three of these I have

argued this I'm a graduate proud graduate of the Naval War College I believe that the precision and the jointness and the preparation and execution of these three not just one these three military operations will spawn future books in the future about and they will be taught at both Carlisle for the Army War College and Newport for the Navy like these are going to be textbook operations and yet and this is why I want to segue into your role now as somebody who has a show why are we not talking about that why I get these mainstream guys hate Trump okay fine but why are we not saying what where's the coverage about what Jessica just said about China where's the coverage about the the military's execution flawless execution on all three of these I've not seen a single story on it well you're obviously not watching my show Sean because we're going to feature that today too I mean going back to what Jessica was saying about China I mean they just released their economic forecast today for the first time in a long time it's estimated to be

below 5% growth in GDP for China you know the numbers are always fudged but that says a lot to us about the China themselves now are hedging their beds on their own economy that has got to be in in part due to what what President Trump has done you cannot lose sight of the long thread that runs from Venezuela to Iran and then ultimately to China and we know President Trump wants to have this sit down face to face with President Xi and so he of course as Donald Trump has always done wants to make sure when he sits down for that all important negotiation whatever it may look like he has as much leverage as possible and that's exactly what he's doing right now and Sean something I'm sure you can appreciate and something that I know is not necessarily natural for President Trump is we hear him coming out complimenting Delsey Rodriguez which I'm sure he does publicly but doesn't think much of her in private and also saying the same thing about how much he respects President Xi these are the things that you know going back to my book what Ronald Reagan would do in public and then he would make sure he would brow beat these people behind closed doors not embarrassed them

publicly but also but hold them accountable privately and it is a just such a critical delicate dance that has to be done and when as it relates to the military precision I mean gosh it's just amazing to watch our assets in use and you think about how powerful the American military is not only do we have the most powerful Air Force I believe we have the second most powerful Air Force when you factor in naval aviators and what we hear from President Trump from Marco Rubio from Pete Hegg is that we are using only a fraction of our assets right now to actually fight this war and to see as successful it has been and then the threat that still lingers for our adversaries that hey we've got a whole other you know a bunch of other stuff in our quiver that we could employ here has got to be terrifying for our adversaries one of the things that you just said with the tape with John it's just so important it's it's the economic impact for China can't be understated but this is why the messaging is also so important because it is going to have an economic impact

on us as well and this is happening in the context of of an affordability conversation driving voters to the polls in November but this is why the messaging is important and you're going to remember this years ago when we were when President Trump was talking about securing the border one of the things that I heard from the grassroots every single day was we are happy to pay more for the price of avocados if it meant our southern border was secure this administration has the chance to do that a second time to say your gas prices might go up 25 cents or 30 cents between now and next year but it is worth it because we are defeating China one strike and one country at a time and that's something that I think is a huge messaging opportunity and it's worth connecting the dots I think for voters especially as we grapple with affordability heading into November yeah I think that's really well said because I think that one of the things that we've

gotten numb to and this is both shutdowns and wars is personal sacrifice let's start talking about like the greater good and what we need to do as Americans I think the problem is part of the politicians want to shield us from any downside to anything these days so we don't know that the government shut down anymore so we don't want people to feel that then we don't want them to know that we're dealing with Iran so we don't but Elizabeth here's the thing I want to get into media covers before I do that though I want to talk about a little the dem we talk about the message and in the reaction the Democrats have been reflexively like unbelievably against this because Trump did it but this is John Federman coming out of the briefing take a look at what he had to say the top fifty five of them were killed and I think they just blew up 80 of the randoms move eyes too which I mean that was pretty great actually so all right if that was pretty great Elizabeth I mean it was pretty great I I can't believe honestly thinking back to a few years ago how big of a fan I am right now of John Federman I know I know I don't know how many Democrats want to learn from him versus how many still believe they have to

lean further left to actually be popular in their party but I mean you said it before we watch that clip they're angry because Donald Trump did it right and it's kind of sad how predictable everything is nowadays but that's that's how it is and both sides are so divided that we can't even agree on basic fundamental truths which is that Iran is an enemy of the United States of America has been for many years has tortured kidnapped murdered countless Americans and that this was the right thing to do to keep us and our allies safe it is so basic we've agreed on this forever there's obviously things to be discussed in terms of how to go to war what should be done how long we should be there who we should drag in that conversation can go on and on and on and it should add a respect for the country but this is so basic and you would think that Democrats would have enough decency even not even decency but faith in their own voters to know that they could stand up to something like this admit that it's the right thing to do and still have the respect of their base but we are so divided everyone suffers so much from hatred of Donald Trump or overwhelming love for Donald Trump that nobody seems to want to think straight anymore John it's worse than that I

want to show you he came Jeffrey who asked I mean it's full on hypocrisy take a listen to him asking about a very similar situation that happened when Obama was president go thank you leader Jeffrey's back in 2011 Nancy Pelosi said that then President Obama didn't need congressional approval to bomb Libya now House Democrats say President Trump needs that approval to bomb Iran what's the difference well obviously Libya and the circumstances connected to that were very different than the circumstances that we face in Iran right now I mean I don't even understand the genesis or basis of that question I suggest that you're not asking it in good faith Libya when I said months as I as I've indicated first of all was not in Congress at the time so we're dealing with what we're dealing with right now John John Hawkeman that is not an answer John we're dealing what we're dealing with now I mean like I know he by the way and then he's like I don't even know the like your question it's no he asked a question Obama bombed Libya you guys said he didn't

need authorization and then but it was like the shifting answer I think that was what the beauty was he's like I don't like your question I wasn't in Congress also Libya starts with an L and Iran is an I mean like different continent you know I think every day I watch a Kim Jeffries and you you you you come to respect and appreciate how how good of a politician not that I agree with her policies but how good an affected Nancy Pelosi was as a leader of the Democratic Party in Congress the Kim Jeffries is just absolutely lost up there he looks like he has no idea what he's talking about that answer is a perfect example he's got no control of his caucus and you know quite frankly I mean that is very on brand for a Kim Jeffries the nickname he often gets is Taimu Obama and I think it's appropriate I mean it's just I you know I don't know I would love to see you know privately a vote of confidence among Democrats on the Hill and what they think about Hakeem Jeffries because he was you know groomed for that role and he just he fails on a daily basis right Jessica it's obviously the nice thing is that aside from the one or two questions that

these guys face from sort of I would say reasonable not even conservative reasonable media it look the media when I say in the tank I I showed this the other day this is the New York Times headline when the guy died when they took out the Ayatollah who's killed tens of thousands of human beings thousands of Americans the New York Times says you know uh cleric dies I mean like I mean I they go after Scott Adams the cartoonist about conservative you know right wing crazy passes away who wrote who drew things on an napkin and yet when the Ayatollah dies it's it's clear but it gets worse this is the Washington Post this is the paragraph it says this is how the watch it's so you got the New York Times headline right and then you got the Washington Post who their headline was Ayatollah Ali Kamenis Irene Supreme Leader is dead at a six okay that's little lacking context but fine whatever then this is what it says with his bushy white beard and easy smile Ayatollah

Kamenis cut a more eviccular figure in public than it's perpetually scowling but much more revered mentor like is that the Easter Bunny with his I mean I was like what what this is insane you know we've been saying this probably for 10 years since that comment of you know mostly peaceful protests and the bombs were going off behind us during the middle of BLM but we just can't hate the liberal media more than we do right now they continue to twist the truth um and they don't really even see it when it's in front of their own very eyes and that's the saddest part is this Trump derangement syndrome it's at their core it defines who they are and then it's applied to every single thing that they do but I don't think you know the the normal American right that's maybe not partisan not right not left just like going about their business they don't listen to that crap they know exactly what this means and they may not be tuning in to Newsmax or Sean

Spicer this morning but they're definitely not believing that I know shocking but some people don't watch your show and instead they just go amongst their daily lives and and you know they take care of their family and their kids but they read that at a hotel or an airport you know wherever they wherever the Washington Post is still sold I don't even know um Barnes and Obel's maybe if they see that headline at a glance they know that that's not true because the fight against Iran has been decades long and many many presidents Republicans and Democrats have tried to solve this and it was only now under President Trump and Secretary Rubio in excess that we have a shot at peace globally. My favorite part about that article Sean real quick is is when they talked about his literary uh you know what he liked uh Laymi Zarab who's a big fan of Victor Hugo and also loved poetry it's just so over the top part of me wonders if it is parody like if there's somebody actually working in the obituary section at the Washington Post just like uh I'm gonna I'm gonna

see how far I can go with with this joke. How would they have covered Hitler like I do wonder if Donald Trump would have said about him. Right. That's an important point. That's a man passed his away. I mean like I've been here. I've put out renowned painter lover of fashion fashion. You were you were in local news right? Yes. Yeah. It's not just in New York Times this is a local CBS affiliate reporter being told on air what what to cover or whatnot. I'm sure everyone's take a listen to this. The reporters right there reading his phone during a live shot people supporting Trump being told we can't cover it and he ultimately covers it. I mean but he's getting orders right there. Don't cover what we can see. We can see all of these people in America supporting President Trump's decision and excited about it and

they're like literally telling them in his ear do not do not show this to the American people. We must hide this comrade. This is the problem right now with local news especially in the TV world where you see this massive consolidation with the corporate media and I suffered through this at the end of my local news career. You know you have people making decisions at editorial decisions a thousand miles away from where the news is actually taking place they have an agenda and it is not what is in the best interest of the people that live in that market and I you know tip my hat to that reporter that's you know you're in a place you cannot deny or ignore what is actually taking place and you got to push back and yeah you know that was that was the right thing maybe it may cause him some turbulence temporarily in his career but I'm sure he's going to go on to bigger and better things. Hi this is Alex Cantrowitz I'm the host of big technology podcast a long time reporter and an on air contributor to CNBC and if you're like me you're trying to figure out how artificial intelligence is changing the business world and our lives so each week on

big technology I bring on key actors from companies building AI tech and outsiders trying to influence it asking where this is all going they come from places like Nvidia Microsoft Amazon and plenty more so if you want to be smart with your wallet your career choices and meetings with your colleagues and at dinner parties listen to big technology podcast or ever you get your podcasts uh yeah but but um Elizabeth Pipco uh let me just ask you this real quick uh and then because then I'm of team you up just so we're clear um do you think the JD Vance is likely the the maggot like who maggot would want as is the the next nominee of the Republican Party as of right now today yes okay I've got some very disappointing news for you then uh let me just share one of the the biggest minds in politics has got some bad news to share with you play uh clip four yeah I love hot takes JD Vance's presidential aspirations are dead that is a hot take okay explain I mean I know what you're talking about but from this okay covering from this because he is such a

less president right no it's what happens it's like what happened to Kamala Harris whatever identity JD Vance had going that was different from Donald Trump's is gone oh my god Elizabeth yes I'm sorry I didn't mean to prove you like you saw that right there you really showed me showed you what Chuck Todd says that JD Vance is dead so we might as well pick somebody new I don't know if you had anybody in mind but we we might as one move on because Chuck Todd has declared that JD Vance's political career is dead it reminds me of that video my brother and I I don't know if you know he was on the campaign with me my little brother he was the youngest staffer in 2016 on my campaign and he loves to watch the video it's like a compilation montage video of everyone saying the walls are closing in this is the end of Donald Trump and we have what 10 years of that and they're going to keep doing it this is the same thing I don't think anyone's listening to Chuck Todd ever I don't think anyone cares what he has to say and again there read the mainstream media's read on Megan on Donald Trump has been wrong from day one and they refuse to kind of look at the you know look in the mirror and look at what's happened and change

their mind and try to actually understand what Americans think they just want to double down and prove that they're right because they believe that they're smarter than everybody else in our country they're going to continue to do this but it's actually great news for JD Vance because they've been proving a wrong time and time again so it's actually a really good sign for his campaign in 28 what was the context that I mean it feels like Chuck Todd just randomly woke up and decided to say that like was he reacting to something so so that was Chris Eliza who was fired from CNN and Chuck I mean I don't know if they call like that podcast like fired or something because it's two guys that got fired from from left wing media but but here's my thing I and I mean this in all sincerity I think Chuck is jealous or doesn't like the fact that he does John shaking his head because I think he agrees with me this guy had a platform forever where he was at NBC news and he could kind of help shape the narrative you would go on the today show and tell everyone in America who's too stupid to understand like here's what you need to believe in why I think he doesn't like the fact that he doesn't have a perch anymore so when he can make what Chris

Eliza called a hot take but I also say this Chris Eliza used to write a call and called the fix which was a real Washington Post staple about what was going on in politics and for him to sit there and say oh really why like I was like dude at some point you got to push back and be like hey that's not a hot take that's a dumb take like yeah you don't sound like you're in the in the loop and I thought that's what blew me away was Eliza was complicit in looking stupid and I don't mean to be a jerk about this but if you're gonna sit there and say JD Vince is dead politically like come on but I want to get to I need I want to get to two big other things before you get to winners and losers because I think the Texas race is big for the for and I lose this already shaking her head before I do that I want to bring it to your to Virginia and I want to explain to people because I think this is coming to a neighborhood to you let me set this up there is a this is a local ABC reporter explaining what's happening in Virginia and I wanted to do this this way Jessica because I don't want me saying all this is the right wing interpretation of what's happening

in Fairfax Virginia so I want to play for you what's happening in Virginia right now and and explain that there's a guy who's committed a bunch of crimes this is who he is take a list of this local reporter explaining it a Virginia woman was killed at a Fairfax County bus stop we're learning the man charged in her murder is in the US illegally his name is Abdul Jalo from Sierra Leone according to the Department of Homeland Security I'm at the Fairfax County courthouse where I discovered this man has a lengthy criminal history more than 40 charges in the past ranging from stabbing to malicious wounding and much more and almost every case Fairfax County Commonwealth Attorney Steve DeScano drop charges against this man only secured one conviction in the past he served very little time he was let back out into the community where then he allegedly stabbed this woman of Friedrichsburg okay Jessica let me fast forward the story the reporter there explains the situation bad dude let back out of the street stabs a woman at a bus stop

repeatedly okay so then the reporter does what reporter is supposed to do he follows up with governor Spanberger's office and here's what his latest reporting is on that right now the US Department of Homeland Security is calling out Virginia governor Abigail Spanberger to notify before Fairfax County officials release a man who's accused of murdering a woman at a Fairfax County bus stop well I just heard back from Virginia governor Abigail Spanberger's office on if she's gonna do that or not here's part of the statement her spokesperson sent me quote DHS should request a signed judicial warrant to ensure this violent criminal is deported I'll read that again DHS should request a signed judicial warrant to ensure this violent criminal is deported so right now ice lodges detainers those are notices to local jails saying hey we want to come pick up this individual so we can proceed with immigration consequences it might be deportation

might be something else but Virginia governor Abigail Spanberger is now requiring ice to take the extra step to overcome an extra hurdle by going to a local criminal judge to get a criminal warrant an order for the local sheriff to hand over this individual who has more than 40 charges against him an arrest record of more than 30 arrests to get the local sheriff to hand over that individual to ice the Fairfax County sheriff simply could choose to hand this person over to ice but Spanberger is saying that ice should get a signed judicial warrant now here's the problem Jessica the story goes on because the feds are saying we don't have jurisdiction it's a state crime he didn't cross state lines he killed a woman in Virginia we don't you can't go to a federal judge about a state so our hands are tied if you don't hand him over he hasn't commit a federal judge doesn't have

jurisdiction over a state crime only a state does so Spanberger is forcing them to go to a federal judge to get a federal deportation order for a guy who's committed a state crime what what the heck is going on that Democrats have taken the step now this should be a no-brainer 30 arrests a murder and it's still like we want to let him back out on the streets yeah there's a couple of things going on here that I think are worth clarifying one these are the early steps I think of governor Spanberger of making the entire state of Virginia the Commonwealth of Virginia a sanctuary state because this is what it looks like when there is not cooperation between the state and federal jurisdictions for illegals and in blue cities across the country that we have actually seen blue mayors like what we saw in Memphis where they work quietly with the feds that sort of cooperation and handoff between the local law enforcement the local jail the local police and the feds for

ice for detainment and questioning is seamless and some blue mayors can't actually do that like they got like the mayor of Memphis so it's it's this is something that she's intentionally choosing to to put Virginia towards a path of being a statewide sanctuary city a sanctuary state which might be the first of its kind ever Illinois is not even that bad right it's just it's just Chicago but when you get to the lower parts of the state they cooperate so this has the makings of that I know we were talking a little bit about local media I actually really like this guy because he was one standing in the snow then in his car like he's rolling up his sleeves it's getting to the story like good on him I hope that this was I'm gonna look tonight and see like how much of Virginia this story is out there because even if you didn't know the specifics of the cooperation that is that is required to keep our neighborhood safe and secure between the feds and state officials you hear this guy's rap sheet and you're like what how is this person not being being held accountable for his crimes

and released back to the state so you don't even have to know the detail of cooperation or sanctuary cities or sanctuary states to know that this is wrong and that this is exactly why Spanberger I think ran as a moderate and within 30 seconds of her inauguration turned to that extreme liberal and has officially put the moderate part of the Democratic Party on ice they are not welcome this is instead how our governor unfortunately is going to govern which I don't think Virginians will like for long Elizabeth he has another story at that I can't but basically he the the Fairfax County police sent a and obviously they wanted this to be very public sent the prosecutor or no and said this guy is a danger to the community and literally the word was if it's not if it's when he kills another citizen of Fairfax County what are you willing to do and the reporter says so far the prosecutor says nothing I got to be honest with you I've seen a lot of crazy leftist policies allowing people in Fairfax County and frankly throughout

the Commonwealth of Virginia to be put at risk is something that I I cannot believe they're willing to go this far right and I don't understand why right that's the only thing I tried to understand Democrats I so badly want to know why it is that they advocate for what they advocate for the you know boys and girls sports or bathrooms whatever that's a big one where it's like what what is the goal here this is probably the biggest issue I think going into midterms the only thing that we can all agree on regardless of TDS or anything else as we want our families and kids to be safe this is the only issue that everyone I know agrees on it doesn't matter who I'm in a room with this is what we want and I just think people are going to get sick of it people are going to realize what's going on as Jessica said you couldn't run as a moderate but if people actually see what you're doing and it's putting their lives in danger they don't care if there's an R or D next to your name and it's not going to be the women and men you know working out together it's not going to be Israel it's not going to be any of these issues it's going to be safety and law in order going into midterms because the only thing that we can agree on is that putting Americans in harm's way is not a winning policy and nobody wants that to happen they might not

vote for Trump or Republicans but Democrats will stay home if you're actually making their neighborhoods more dangerous and that's what Republicans have to hit on for the next nine months all right I want to hit on one more quick topic before we get to winners and losers because it's obviously big in the political world John Bachman the Senate had a primer the Texas Republicans had a primer obviously the Dems did too but there's with decisive talerico President Trump saying yesterday I'm going to endorse a candidate the wins in DC everyone I talk to believe that that person will be John Kornit and that and I believe that Ken Paxon will not resign which is what President Trump asked him to do it or said whoever doesn't get my endorsement should so I wanted to a quick round real quick starting with you John Bachman do you agree that Trump endorses and again people get mad at me when I say I'm not telling you what I think I'm telling you what I hear I hear that that's where this is going down and if so do you think that if that's the case do you further agree that Paxon stays in or does he get out? No I think Paxon stays in I mean

he's obviously dealing with some other issues as well personal issues which would in normal circumstances I think make somebody drop out of the race but he's staying in it I believe he does feel like he has a lot of support particularly from the MAGA base and as it relates to John Kornit a lot of Trump loyalists are not happy about the the prospect of Donald Trump endorsing John Kornit but you got a you got a factor in what what President Trump is dealing with with the Senate right now he has such a thin majority and he needs every single vote and that is why he's playing nice with people like John Kornit and there's so much to consider here and look I think I've seen the polling I looked at Polly Market just this morning after you know after the primaries and it you know just it doesn't have a candidate but it says Republican versus Democrat it's gone up by like 13 points in favor of Republicans just from the primary so I think you know there's a lot of factors that play there but it might be one of those situations where you got a whole of your nose and support John Kornit if you're a Trump loyalist and I think that's what President Trump is probably willing to do now but

Elizabeth I want to go to you first quickly and then I got a separate question we're just going this before we get to winners and losers but quickly do you agree with that assessment? I do but I would assume based on the truth that Donald Trump put out that he actually does believe Ken Paxson would get out of that race that he does believe him and again he's not going to endorse anyone until he believes he has that agreement from the other person they're going to get out of the race. All right Jessica you guys in the Sentinel Action Fund spend a ton of time worried about maintaining a majority in the Senate. The DC establishment narrative is we need to get behind Kornin because he's the only one that could beat Taloriko. Do you believe that? I don't think I believe that but I think that there's a difference in how much money it's going to cost and that's what I actually think is kind of the worry right now. So Taloriko is a very very weak candidate. He is also a crazy man. So like if you listen to what he says like he is not like if you think of John Ossoff as like the most kind of the future sleeper cell of

the Democratic Party in Georgia, Taloriko is so far left and just insane. He is very beatable by either Paxson or Kornin which I know goes against what people are saying today but you heard it here first. I agree. No, no, I agree with you. The difference is is how much it's going to cost and I think that actually is what is a worry me and why I didn't really sleep well last night is because Texas is always expensive right. This isn't new. You look at Cruz's races the last two cycles. They've been over a hundred million dollars. These are massive. This is massive spending. So what is it going to take to defend Paxson's reputation some of his personal life that's come up to bear his fraud and corruption in his office that's all alleged but there is going to have to be money that's spent on defending that just as much as going on offense versus Kornin you kind of get you kind of know what you get right. He's he's been a center for a long time. He has a voting

record. You don't really have to spend money defending him. You can use all of the money towards going on offense and burying Taloriko. That has implications for the Senate map because we do have limited funds and if if there's only you know half a billion dollars for the U.S. Senate then does that pull resources out of states like Michigan or New Hampshire or Georgia where we have real flip opportunities. So I think that is also in the president's mind you know I don't want to speak for him but if I was if I was advising him this morning it's not just who can win it's also what is it going to cost to win and how is that going to impact our larger goals across the nation. Right John Bachman real quick give me your winner and loser and I'll give you you can make your winner your book if you want but I need a quick winner but I also want to give a hat tip to all the Persian Iranian women out there who are suddenly all over the place on TV defending why this is such an important operation. Number one they are all beautiful like there's like a limitless

amount of beautiful Persian women willing to go on TV but they're also incredibly intelligent and really can argue why this is important. My biggest loser is actually James Talrico because by winning everyone is now paying attention to the things he has said in the past everything from his white guilt to there being six genders I mean why stop at six if you're going to go with six there could be like a 28 genders and then him saying God is non-binary there is a endless stream of James Talrico embarrassing clips out there for all of us to play with in the media world. So James Talrico is a real quick I agree with you on this and I just want to say this for the record based on what Jessica said as well the media treats Texas I've been doing this now like nationally for over 10 years they keep every cycle it's Texas is going to flip Texas is going to flip they're wrong every time it is the Republican nominee by six to eight points this November mark my word today that this is such they they love to talk about Dem slipping Texas and they're wrong Jessica who's your winner and who's your loser well I had both of John's answer that's usually how I do it

so so I feel lame but I'm just going to add like an adendum to his the Iranian people not just the ladies love the ladies but all of the Iranian people for sure I think are the big winners of this week seeing the cheering and the celebrations and the happiness is just was wonderful the same with seeing the the glimpses in Israel of you know even the pictures we saw of people getting married in the bunker like I just love the spirit of joy that this has brought across the entire globe so that's the winner loser I had actually had Talrico too but I'm also going to add an adendum and say Cooper and in North Carolina who won his Democratic primary and is now positioned to take on Michael Watley in the North Carolina minute race this guy is a bad dude he has a record that will concern everyone and he is he is basically an Abigail Spanberger because he's going to try to run that race in North Carolina and now voters know more because of their neighbor state in Virginia and I think we'll call him out so he's on his rose to he he liked Taleriko

they are on their road to loseery Elizabeth real quick who you guys are winner and who do you have as a loser uh see real quick you mentioned also for me I'm thinking of beta orork who now seems very very normal compared to this gentleman who has no chance like you said in Texas so that's my winner and my loser is the former supreme leader of Iran which is but she beard an easy smile who no longer exists thank God all right I'm going to start my winner and I'll just play the b-roll on this Marco Rubio I think not only it's done a fantastic job but this is a consistency he has been calling Iran out since 2015 so so Marco Rubio is my winner because he has been making this case for a long time and I applaud that my loser of the week is everyone like me that thought the White House Correspondence Association should be put out to pasture and taken by by especially their stupid left wing dinner I I will say this and all the things that you know policy differences that people have with Trump the one difference him going to that dinner that definitely upsets me uh I he was so close to killing off that dinner I hate it I hate the people who go there I shouldn't say that

I don't hate them that's not Christianly I will say I don't like the dinner I don't like what it stands for they're all phonies and so I wish that he had just put the nail in the coffin and let that thing die anyway I love uh you guys chatting here if you're interested in John's book we put the link in the bio uh on the YouTube and all of the social channels congrats on the book John thanks for being here guys tomorrow we've got a great show with John Solomon we'll be back tomorrow go to Sean Spicer dot com for the latest craving the coffee flavor you love but without the caffeine kachavas got you covered with their newest coffee flavor this all in one nutrition shake delivers bold authentic flavor crafted from premium decaffeinated Brazilian beans quality nutrition shouldn't be complicated just two scoops of kachavas all in one nutrition shake and you've got 25 grams of protein six grams of fiber greens and so much more whether you're craving that coffee taste to kickstart your morning ritual or as a nutrient packed reward to round out your afternoon kachava keeps you fueled and satisfied wherever your day takes you plus it actually tastes delicious no fillers no nonsense just the good stuff your body craves and for the
