Trump Pauses U.S. Effort to Guide Ships Through Strait

Just hours after his Secretary of State flat out said the initial mission against Iran, Operation Epic Fury, was over, President Trump said the operation that replaced it is on pause. The president said the US will pause “Project Freedom,” a naval effort aimed at guiding commercial vessels through the Strait of Hormuz, to see whether a deal with Iran can be finalized.  Also, a major test tonight of the president's grip on his own party.
