Trump Honors Fallen Service Members in Iraq Crash

President Trump heads to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware on Wednesday for the dignified transfer of six U.S. service members killed in a refueling plane crash. This will be his second such ceremony since the war against Iran started on February 28. The KC-135 went down last week in friendly airspace over Western Iraq during a combat support mission. All six crew members died in the incident, which involved another aircraft but was not caused by hostile or friendly fire. That other plane landed safely and investigators are still looking into the details. Trump once called these transfers the hardest part of his job as Commander-in-Chief. He attended one just weeks ago on March 7 for troops lost to a drone strike in Kuwait.
