  • Cynthia - My deceased sister has always wanted to be sprinkled in the ocean.  When she passed away, I asked my Catholic priest and he said, no you can't do that.  The ashes have to be in the ground or mausoleum.  I'm so torn.  Her ashes are in my house.  She passed away 2017.
