Troll Belly Blues: A Mindful Bedtime Story for Kids

About this episode

Three billy goat brothers need to cross a bridge guarded by a mean, smelly troll who threatens to eat anyone who passes. Working together, the brothers outsmart the troll by convincing him to wait for the biggest goat. When the biggest goat finally crosses, he uses his sharp horns to knock the troll into the river, sending him far away. The brothers learn that by working together, they can overcome even the biggest challenges. Parents, here are 4 calming ways to explore grit with your little one during the episode: 1) Hold your little one while they are laying on their bed when your child is imagining someone they love holding them. 2) Get close and breathe with your little one so they can experience how the deep breathing rhythm feels and sounds. 3) Repeat the affirmations with your child when following the breathing cues. 4) Try singing a song to your child when the episode is over.
