Trocheck Braces for Trade Amid Rangers' Rebuild

Vincent Trocheck, the 32-year-old center for the New York Rangers, is bracing for a possible trade before the 2026 NHL. Trade deadline at 3pm, Eastern Time on Friday. He has three years left on his 7-year contract worth $39,375,000 with an average annual value. Of $5,625,000, this season he has 38 points, including 12 goals and 26 assists in 45 games. As a result, Trocheck is expected to play when the Rangers face the Columbus Blue Jackets at Madison Square Garden at 7pm Eastern time. Trocheck has put up 238 points in 291 regular season games with New York since the 2022-23 season. In the playoffs, he has 21 points in 23 games, highlighted by his 20 points during the Rangers' run to the Eastern Conference. Final last year, he has only been traded once before, from the Florida Panthers to the Carolina Hurricanes in February 2020.
