Acast.com Hey guys, it's Ronnie and Ben from Watch What Grab Bums. Vanderpump Villas back, and this season it heads to the English countryside at Rose Craft Park, a new playground for luxury indulgence, and plenty of chaos all under the

watchful eye of Lisa Vanderpump. New and returning staff, along with fan favors, Darcy Schroder, are living and working together once again, serving high-end guests while navigating friendships, rivalries, and temptation behind the scenes. And this season comes with a twist. The Villa becomes a full-blown reality crossover event, with guest appearances from the Bachelor, Love Island, the secret lives of Mormon wives, and more, turning every stay into its own unforgettable spectacle. So pour yourself something decadent, because the drama and the tea will be served. The new season of Vanderpump Villa is now streaming on Hulu, and it has never been better. Who was the wrestler that gave you the thumbs up that you were like? Her best friend. My best friend? Who's your best friend? Who's the rock? You know? You're my best friend. Everyone else has their best friend. What did I say? This is my best friend. That's amazing. Yeah. He was the one from the very beginning, and he said, he goes, you could be the female rock.

I absolutely love this film. Get into that. Give it. It works. Oh no. It's weird. She's going. We're going. Today's guest is someone who didn't just succeed in her industry, she completely changed it. The seven-time WWE Women's Champion, Hala Famer, and one of the most influential figures in sports entertainment. She set the standard for women in the business, could be, and continues to prove she still belongs at the very time. Yeah. And right now, she's stepping into something new with her latest project, First Crush, showing yet another side of her creativity and connections with her fans while balancing life and as a dedicated mom. We also get into some of the fun stories, or very first crush, because even legends have those moments. Please welcome, Trish Stratis. Hi, Trish Stratis. Hi, Trish Stratis. Hi, Trish Stratis. So who was your first crush? Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh. It's so funny. You know, when we were kids, like everyone had the posters up and all that stuff. And I just like never gravitate to anybody. Really?

No, there was honestly, eventually, the one person I was like, I mean, I guess I'll say would be John Stamos. I don't know. Yeah, I agree. I agree. Are we talking leather jacket? Are we talking, was it the hair? Full house. I'm just almost full. Yeah, I have to give an answer. So I was like, but I don't really, I don't know. I think I'm just like, I'm not really like, I need to know someone. Right. And that's it. The first crush thing is like, you know, and I just, yeah, so you know what I'm actually talking about? Yeah, I'm not really really. Dream, dream ball. Oh, my God. Even though the picture is up and using it in the air. Oh, my God. But I'm like, you're up. Because we were talking earlier about like, you know, people have their hall pass. Yes. This is my hall pass. And then the idea that once we started in the industry meeting people, like my wife was like, wait a minute, you can't have hall pass anymore. No, not anymore. Because you're meeting everyone that will be at your place. No, the distance. The distance. The distance. No, no, no. Yeah. When I met Tom Cruise for the first time in my husband's like, that's it. You're like, he's done. It's out. But I'm a lot of a female list and you're on my list.

Oh, thank you. Oh, thank you. I mean, you must hear about this all the time though. The first crush thing? Yeah. Well, it kind of became my campaign because of it, you know, like I, you know, people like, oh, my God. You remember my first crush? And they say, you were my first crush. And so I think it was last year on SmackDown. I wore T-shirt and it was your first crush. And it was, I kind of owned the moment. Indeed. That's the one. Indeed. And I felt like, yes, I feel like I'm just going to put out there and then everyone from that point on, every autograph signing, every picture I've signed has said, could you just put in your first crush? First crush. You know? So we went with it. And so when this year started, we kind of made it a campaign and the tour became your first crush campaign. So it's like, come meet your first crush. And, you know, I'm, there's kids that are, when they're crushed and there's, they're dead. It's a generational crush. And then they come with their kid. It's so cute. Like, it's like, it's a mate, like, listen, I feel so blessed. I'm still doing this right now and that I still have this generational touch to be open to it. It's just been amazing. And you've done a calendar for this as well. Yeah. Yeah. So we get to see you every month with a different, yes, you see.

You look, every month. It's so fun. Yeah. Right now, I'm all about putting my energy towards stuff that, like, inspires me and like, it fulfills me and, you know, it's just like, it's, I love being creative. I love producing things, even when I'm at wrestling, wrestling is about producing moments out there, right? So producing moments. And so the calendar was like a fun way for us to just, like, me and my team. We just, it allows my makeup artist to be creative, it allows my photographer to be creative. So we all go, what is your wishlist? What do you want to do? What do you want to do? What do you want to see? And then we make it come true. Is there a month in the calendar that you're particularly proud of one of your stories that you told there? It's July. Which one's July? Do you remember? No. It's going to be the hottest one. It's the summer. It is going to be. I don't even know. It's funny. How we even place it. It's actually fun. It really laid it all out. It's like such a big process, you know? Yeah. But every, every, every month is unique. And it's just really tells a story. It's really, the gamer girl is really cute because last year I posted on the anime, it was anime-trish. And it was like, I just did it on, honestly, it was a filler post.

I was just like, you know, you're just like, just post something. And like, it went crazy viral. I guess because I was all dressed up. I had a purple wig. It was like a whole cutesy thing, you know? Yeah. So we went a little, we spoke to those people. We spoke to those people. You listened to your audience. The key thing was, as I said to my daughter, I'm like, okay, I'm doing a gamer thing. Okay, my daughter's not now. I'm doing it like a gamer thing. I said streamer. Think streamers. Think gamer. So help me. Do the set. So she's like, okay, I said, we have a purple, we have a purple wig. That's what we're going with. So then she went in, like, got, like, Karomi. And like, I don't know if you guys know the theory of characters. She got all these cute little gamer things and the Xbox thing and she literally built the set. So it's so pretty. She's getting into the stuff that I'm doing. She's so cute. Yeah. She loves what you do. So you mentioned you saw me wrestle. And she, that was the first time I kids saw me wrestle live. So how blessed am I that I had this whole career tucked that away. And on purpose, I tucked it away because I had this other life to live, was to build a business, build my children, build a family, build those kids good.

And so then I get to go back so they knew of the lore of Trish and what she did. And they saw, like, when we go out, people would come and they'd get, like, she's people on her autograph and whatever it is. But like, to actually see me in action, it's one thing to watch. Videos is one thing, right? But then to see, like, the mom out there live. And then knowing that, like, that was the same mom that packed my son up, she did an interview with it. She did his first radio interview. And then he said, you know, my mom was packing my lunch that day and then that night, she was, she was in front of 50,000 people. I can't believe she was so cute. So before that day, before elimination chamber, you know, I'm envisioning people coming up to you when you guys just walking down the street or something and, like, autographs for this and that. How did you talk to them about how these people know who you are? Well, they just knew. They knew that, you know, because, like, they grew up with it, right? So I was always, like, where there was, like, my nephew's hockey game and there was, like, a line, they're like, what? I remember the first time that was actually it was my nephew's hockey game. There was a line up of, like, during the interview, people were just waiting. And I was like, meet and greet, basically, like, hi, taking pictures. And they're like, why are they doing that? And I was like, well, mommy, and it was like, used to do this thing, right?

So it was like, she used to do this thing. And, you know, but obviously, like, as you know, we worked so much over the years, Canadian media has embraced my success and I've been, you know, visible and then become a television personality. And so it's been more than just wrestling. And so they get it. So they see me and they get it. And, you know, so when they saw your wrestle, you know, they're in the audience. Yeah. And so the conversation afterwards, was it, what, what we're going to do next year? Or did they say something about saying mom, that wasn't incredible? I mean, yes, they were just blown away to see it up close. As you know, seeing it live is a whole. Yeah. It's just, I was like, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. I say if people like, you might not like wrestling, but you will appreciate the art of wrestling. Yeah. If you see it live, you will really understand what it takes, the theatrics behind it, how the crowd, like, I'm getting goosebumps. The crowd, like, just the energy of the crowd, if you don't have to be a wrestling fan, you will go. You will enjoy this experience, I'm saying, you know, yeah, so for them to be in, it was great. I did get smashed in my face apart by Tiffany landed on my face, not her fault, and it's fine. But I had a huge black eye, like, my whole face was just, and my daughter was like, I don't

like that. I don't like that. So she kept saying, so as I was competing for the Women's Championship, and she's like, she was excited to see me like on TV, she see the lead up, and she goes, but I kind of don't want you to win. And I was like, oh, okay, and she's like, because then you have to leave, and you'll have to defend the championship. She said, so she knows. She knows. I'm on the road, and I be, you know, fighting champions, so I lost for her, otherwise I would have told her. Oh, my God. I did it for my fans. Yeah. To stay home. Yeah. Yeah. So we want to get into, click and tell here, what we're going to do is, we've got all these photos from your socials that you'll get to compete for. We got deep. We went to your Facebook. Oh my goodness. Oh my God. I'm scared. Yeah. You don't have to have that. You do have. We do have. At first. Do you remember your first photo you ever posted on Instagram? I actually do. You do both of them. Yeah. Is it a photo shoot? Is this, am I right? Yes. Okay. I think, I think she was here. This is my one of my teammates. Yeah. I was shooting a cover of a magazine, and I was in a glam dress.

Yeah. Yes. There we go. Oh my gosh. And I do love. It's so pretty. It's the perfect first. It really is. It's also very clean. It's probably the filter on it. It's also very clean. It's probably the filter on it. Yeah. It's also very clean. It's probably the filter on it. Yeah. It's the border. Like, we would do that. Yeah. Oh my God. It's so pretty. I do. And I was like, everyone was saying, you got to get into it. You got to do it. You got to do it. It's a couple of personalities. You got to do it. And I was like, I didn't know what it was. We didn't know what it would mean. But that felt like a good time. Like, let's share this because this is so cool. It's still so special to me. You know, it's really, it's like, you're honored because you know they've chosen you. You know, you're representing their brand and you're speaking to their people. Like, it's a really big honor. And you've been in conference as well. So it's like, so I remember just like being so. And I think this was a good shoot because I was wearing again. It was different than the wrestling stuff and the sports stuff. It was like a gown. And it was showing me a different, like, different. So I was appreciating it. Appreciating that they were giving me that different platform. You know, so boom. For such a pro. Yeah.

Such a pro. I was appreciative. They chose me to be on there. That's true. But you know what's really remarkable about when we watch the way that you move through everything. You carry that with you. You can see it. Like, this professionalism and the gratitude for where you are. Like, sometimes you watch people at the top of their game and you go, they know they're at the top. I don't know. Yeah. You knew you were at the top, but you always were ready to be like, you're in the hand or coming up together. Yeah. And it's really lovely to see. Yeah. I wonder if it's like the wrestling mentality, you know, because we are like, we know it takes two to tango. We know that you're not there. Like, I might be the star, for example. But it's going to be because this person is making my move look great. And we know that this producer is capturing that, you know, that the emotion of my face. And so it's really a team effort. And I think a lot of the times, even when I do outside work, whether it's television, movies, commercials, that that world is like, whoa, you guys are so, like, they're like, you guys are so nice. And I'm like, I talked to everyone on set, but like, I thought, how is that not normal for someone?

Normal for someone? Yeah. I know for having like, why? Why does that not normally happen? That's insane to me. So I did get that on sets where people are like, yeah, I know people, the star usually doesn't, I'm like, that's wild to me. We're just people. I had to tell you, when I went through your social media, I was a little bit emotional, because you can see the chapters in your light kind of ball from, you know, your career to your child, then your career, then your second child. And it's a beautiful version of who you are. Like, you could tell what's the most, you know, there's never anything called balance in your life, either sometimes it's your family, sometimes it's your career. And you could see the trajectory of where you were in your life. That's cool. And being a mom to you is everything. It is. It really is. I mean, there's been, as you saw that in the things, you can tell, and I'm stepping away to do this. Step away. You know, and then I came back and luckily they were, you know, you always, that thought of like, you think that the opportunities there, but like, if it was meant for you, you will be able to go back to that opportunity. It'll still be there for you just at a different time, if it's meant for you. Have you ever had that feeling of, let's say when you take some time to step away,

the urgency or that need to feel like, I need to be back, the foam out. Were you always at peace with like, no, no. I did come to terms with that. Like, I think is even like, I left on my terms when I retired. I was 30 years old. I felt like that was the right time for me as a 30-year-old woman. I felt like I'd worked with all the top women at the time. My mom was diagnosed with cancer at the time as well. And I knew, it was just like, choose, what do you want to do right now? You're going to go on the road and like, hopefully do a couple of chemo appointments? Or are you going to be with your mom while she's going through this? Of course, I'm going to be with my mom. And it was like very clear the decision was there. But no, I just, and then I got to, I mean, sure, there was a time where I didn't know it was going to be next. I'm like, I thought that I didn't know it was going to end up in entertainment for 25 years. You know, and back in the ring, 25 years, like, no way, you know, especially when I retired. I didn't think I'd be back in the ring 25 years later or 20 years later. So, yeah, no, I just think, you know, there's, you just have to be confident in your decisions and know that like, this is right for this moment. And forget this part, you got to really think what is right for this moment right now. It's just less than in life because I do feel formal once in a while.

Like, if I don't say yes to this, I'm going to miss out. Right. The idea, it is, you're right, if something is for you, it's going to be there. It will be there. It will be there. Like, you'll be like, oh, I'll grab that now. Like, it is a little red carpet thing. You're like, oh, it's so important. But it will be another direct carpet thing for you. So, when it was time, like, when you got, you got the call to come back. Did that make it all the more special? Because you hadn't been seen there going, how come that call me? I need to get back in the ring, that kind of thing. Yeah, and it was a slow, like, way in. Like, I guess it was like, you know, they had a couple guest spots here and there. Like, John Cena was in Toronto and there was a surprise mystery partner. This was like two years after retired. So, like, he plucked me out of retirement because like, can you do this? Can you do this be my partner for this? And I was like, the fans went nuts. So, that was cool to see you. I'm like, oh, and I was like, they remember me from two years ago, right? Sure. Yeah. You're still by your post on the road. Like, when is she coming back? There's a thing. You don't. I don't know. Because you're in this, okay, it was like 300 days of the year. You're on the road. And so, you're in this grind and you don't really realize what you're creating. You know, you don't really see the impact that you're doing.

You do see autograph signings. You talk to people. But it was like, I was a 2018. They had the first ever All Women's Royal Rumble. And they called me and they're like, you have to be a part of this. It's historic. You know, we need to have you back at, you know, whatever. And I was like, I was like, yeah, I'm going to just check my schedule. And you know, I'm like, I've had two kids. I've had 11 years. And I was like, do they remember me? And also, so before I said, yes, this is the control for me. I'm like, yes, I will check and see if I can make this work. Thank you for the opportunity. I went right to my ring. I was like, let me just hit my greatest moves. I'm like, oh, okay. Because I will not go back and be crappy. Yeah. I mean, I'm always, I'm not going to go back and give you a cool 60. I'm going to give you 100%. You know, and if I can't give it, I'm maybe not the time to go back. That's the thing. You know what I mean? So I went back, kicks and butt in the ring. And I went back. You kick and butt every time. Like you're walking in here, you kick butt. Thank you. Thank you. We're going to start with any pick any photo you like. Oh my gosh. Okay. I can't wait to hear the story behind me. Oh my gosh.

This is so exciting. I mean, you're very good at remembering what photo she posted. Oh. Oh. Oh. What is that? Oh. Oh. Speaking of. Yeah. Okay. What is there to say about this? Just that I love these guys. And like, you know, when you're posting, it's like, oh, make sure you promote the this, promote the this. And it's like, you know, it's a little glimpse life. This is why I even have to see her for me. I've been doing this for like a couple of days. So I just kind of throw it in there. Which kind of means it's kind of like when I do not disturb sign. When you say this post, I'll be back when I'm back. You know, yeah. You know, raising them and we both, we all have kids. Yes. You know, my daughter's 19 years or what now? I can't believe it. I got 9 and 12 for my nine and 12. Yeah. You know, the things I always try to feel is the what my mom instilled in me that I passed on to my kids. What's that for you that you feel is something you've taken on? Well, I think it's, um, that's your job. You were blessed to be given this opportunity to have children and that is your job. So that is priority over everything, no matter what. You know, and so I was, I feel lucky that I was able to, you know, I got to do my career before I had kids.

I started late. I've got a nine and 12 year old at the sage, right? So I got to have this amazing career. I got to open up businesses and do that side of things, explore television projects. So I really had a robust, you know, a lot of people feel like, you know, they have their kids and they didn't get to find themselves. Yeah. I found myself. I was, I was ready when it was timed up babies. And it wasn't never a pressure for my parents as well. It was always like when you're ready. And then yeah, had the kids, um, at the right time, I feel like we were, you know, I had my business was in place. Everything was good, you know, got to raise them. And then they're, you know, between nine, I guess Max was nine when I got the first call to go back. And I was able to go back and feel okay about it and be like, leave them for a little bit. And they were okay with me going away and kind of getting back into this palette of things. But it has, you know, that's my job. And mom was always like, that is your job. That is your job, you know. And so you, you chose it, you know. Have you seen any, uh, any science from them about them maybe enjoying the spotlight, then kind of wanted to find a career in anything that mom does? No, not at all.

No. No. My kids too. Like, yeah, not at all. No. No. Honestly, Max is like, he's very, he's musically inclined. He, he just has a whole different thing. So even to watch for him, he doesn't really care about it too much. Of course, he's going to watch for me. She got, Matt got more into it and she would, but then she was like, okay, but she's like, I was like, do you want to be a wrestler? Because she got so, she was like going, wait, did he even tray him? And then, but, and then, or she said, she's like, workout storyline right ahead. Or she tasted me. Mom, when Tiffany went up to the top, you should have just, whoa. Why didn't you just, I was like, I mean, yes. And she's also picking out your podcast. I mean, not your podcast, but your social media. Yes. She's doing the things. Yeah, she's to get me on the trends. Yeah. But the one thing she, I go, do want to be a wrestler. She goes, she goes, I, like, I do, but I don't want to get hurt. I'm like, well, then it's not for you. Actually, she doesn't want to get hurt. When my kids were, by the time they were three and four, I was like, we're doing archaos. We're doing stunners. We're doing the whole deal. Yeah. Yeah. That's just fun, right?

They didn't grow up in that. They weren't those kids. There were those kids that are crazy about it, right? But they just weren't. I guess because I kept maybe a little separation from it. Yeah. But, yeah, no, there was a moment where she was, look, she does a promo pretty good though. I got to say. I bet. Okay. Okay. Oh, my bestie. Oh, let's get into this. Yes. This is so cool. This is exactly what we're talking about. It's the comeback of it all. Yeah. So me and Lita were rivals back in the day. And best friends, obviously, we, our entire career was paralleled, right? Yeah. From when we came in to what we experienced. To what glass ceiling we broke. You know, we did it all together. A lot of it, right? And so she's been, you know, since the beginning. And she got inducted to the whole thing. I got inducted in 2013. She got inducted in 2014. So my kids, you know, Max is born. I announced my pregnancy as part of my induction in 2013. Yeah. And so when we were together, we realized like people. So they'd grown up as Trish fans or Lita fans. And so for the first time, they were able to see us together like at the whole thing.

They're like, oh, and it was like almost like the coming together of these. Totally separate groups, right? They're like, oh, okay. They're okay with each other than we're okay with each other. And so like a Lita fan would admit, I kind of dumped Trish. I hated her. But I dug her. You know, like I appreciate what she was doing and things like that. So it was really cool to see that coming together with the fans. And then we started the team Bestie tour. And we did an autograph. So we started doing autograph signings together. And that was a big novelty for the fans. It allowed us to, you know, just disconnect from things and get back into the world. And it was actually around that time. And that, and then the 2018 Royal Rumble, that's when I really got a chance to like talk to other people who now are in the fans of these wrestlers. But then they realized, did you know she was influenced by you? Do you know that she said you were the one who got her into this? So you don't, you don't know. Like I said, you don't know what you pray behind you until you talk to people that like say, oh, by the way, when I saw that match, I knew I wanted to become a wrestler. You know, and like, yeah, I know you've spoken to a lot of wrestlers as well, right? Like someone like Nadie Knighthart, you know, someone like her is like, she's, she lives with Bret Hartz, her, her uncle, you know,

she's her, oh, and, oh, and the bread and her dad. They are, that's what they do. They're wrestlers. So she knew she was going to be a wrestler. She's like, I didn't really see myself in it until I saw you doing your thing. And I was like, okay, I can do that. You know, and it's really cool. So that's when we, you know, got out there start realizing, like, oh, we got to kind of meet a little impact, you know. But there's, there's something really unique about the connection you two have. Because nobody else will do, again, in history. Yeah. What you guys did in the industry. Yeah. Yeah. It's you and Lydia, you and Amy, you and Lydia. Yeah. Yeah. Who broke their glass ceiling for everybody else. Yeah. I know. That's so cool. Yeah. It's really cool. You set up that trend. I know. I know. I know. Like, even when kids like, you know, now it's like, when I grow up, I want to be a wrestler. That was, there was no vocation. Back in the day, you know. So, yeah. And this picture, particularly, is cool because we did this. We recreated a famous, it was from a magazine in like 2006. I thought it was 2004, I think it was. So, we recreated it. And it was kind of cool that we like, fans went crazy with it. And, you know, and we celebrated our 20th anniversary of the mid event match that we was the first time women

to be an event. Yeah. What's the conversations you have in the locker room at WWE? Like, what is happening ahead of you guys going into the ring? Tell me, like, what is the mindset? Like, I want to learn more about it. Like, before we go into the, what is it? Well, it's a really cool thing because you do end up so close with that person. You know, not only are you giving your trusting that you're giving your body to this person, you are creating a moment together. You know, you're both contributing in different ways, but together collectively, you're telling this story. And it's just, it's really, like, the people I've worked with, I end up becoming so, so close with them. Like, these girls, and actually, I'm doing something like Vegas, which we'll talk about. But, I brought in some of my old girls that I worked with. Well, did I say old? I'm an older. I'm the first. I'm the first. The ladies figure that. Yes. Yes. We're all old. Okay. We're okay with it. The legends. We're older. I was calling it a senior talent. But, you know, so, but we, everyone kind of does, we're

collectively doing things. We know we want to tell the story together. I think that's really important. Like, as, when I find another performer that we vibe to the point where we're, like, prepping the same, preparing the same, wanting to, you know, collaborate on what we were doing out there. But there's also that moment of yourself. Like, you have to get into your own zone. You have to do your warm-up. You have to do, you know, rituals or whatever. You know, people have different things that they do. But it's a, it's a, it's a cool place to be, for sure. And I was just like, so happy I got to go back and do it a couple more times, you know. Well, you're going to be in Vegas when Mania's in Vegas. Yeah. A big time. What? Are we going to see any, like, a surprise? Are we going to see anything to express? So, should we come down to Vegas? I mean, you should. Because you're going to come to my restaurant. No plans at this time to wrestle. If that's what you're saying. Yeah. Yeah. Yes. No plans at the time. But I got to, I'm doing this amazing takeover thing. It's so fun. This restaurant in Mandela Bay called Flanker came and approached me and said, we want, we have the fans. Allegiance is literally right there. And they're like, we want to do like a trish takeover.

And I was like, you don't say. And like, when I go in, like, I'm 110%. No matter what I do. So I'm like, it wasn't just like, yeah, put my knee up up there. And I'll come in at nine o'clock. I'm like, all in. I'm like, I want to meet your chef. I want to make the meals. So I curated this menu. And then I even, I don't drink. But I made this amazing drink menu. And each, each drink is named after the girls. Yeah. So, and I, you know, did it specifically like Mickey James's hardcore country. So there's the whiskey in there. Like, it was so fun to do. So that was a really fun creative outlet for me to do. And then it gets me like right in there with the fans, you know. So I get it. We hope that this is like the hub for fans to come and just like, come pre show after show during the show, watch parties, all that. And of course, I have my meet and greets. And I'm bringing in my girls. I want to say the old girls. I mean, the girls from, we called the Golden Era. Yeah. Because it was such a special time as, you know, like the back then was like, you know, it was, it was a changing of the guard. It was like, well, you used to see us just walk the guys down. But now we're going to come down. We're going to actually be there. But as well, you know. So, and it took a long time to re-educate the fans to be like,

this is, they, they expected only certain something from the women, right? Yeah. So like, instead of hair pulls, we're going to do slaps. And so we're going to punch it. We're going to do real moves instead of like the cat fighting that you're used to, right? What was, what was the feeling like when you sort of, you could tell there was a sea change, when there's conversation about, we're actually going to go in there. And we're going to show them what we can do in the ring. Well, I trained at a gym with all boys. It was like, I was, and I was like, just treatment like the guys. I don't want to, like, don't treat me like the girl of the roster. I want to be like, that's how I trained. And so I knew I was capable of doing things. But I recognized that the landscape I was entering was not there. And it was not that at all. And so I accepted the role of I candy. This is what I need to do to get in. I always felt, and even in my fitness days, I knew that I was getting in because I was a bombshell in a bikini. Yeah. It was bombshell in the bikini. Thank you. Yeah. But I knew that like, once I had your attention, I could then, you know, use your platform, use my platform, use my words, et cetera. And that's when, you know, even back in the day with fitness modeling, yes, I was doing the fitness modeling.

But once I got in, I got people's attention. I could then do these fitness seminars and things like that, where I was doing actually good work, you know. So yeah, so we, I knew we all knew we were capable, but it wasn't the landscape. So we had, we adjusted and we adapted and we did what we had to do. And then we kind of just decided it was actually an agent who was working with us. And he was like, you know, he kind of, we were like, let's just do this under the radar. So like, we're not really, we're still going on having fights, but we might do a few punches in front of the set of the slaps that you're used to seeing. And there was a chant back in the day. Do you know the chant that you used to get as one the women came out? Okay. We want puppies. Oh. And it wasn't, it wasn't cute puppies. Right. And that's literally we would wrestle our butts off and have this chanting. We want, it's insane to think of it like as far as doing what you say. Yeah. Like, that's what we dealt with and we're like, it's fine. But there was a point where we went out and wrestled and they did not chant that anymore. And so first we're like, okay, we knew we had them. You know, and we had to obviously, like,

I made it a mission at one point. I was like, we need to change the preconceived notion of what a few more can do in a ring, not just in a ring, because we knew we were capable of doing with the guys. We knew we could tell the stories. They weren't ready for it. You know, they were ready for it. So we slowly started to like just have these solid matches and it was like, people almost we related and noticed us. Right. And then I remember a turning point was I was working with a few mounting jazz and she was, she whooped my butt. You remember jazz? She was fierce. And so we had some pretty like next level matches. Yeah. You ever? Yeah. I don't know. I was dressing fan too. She did. She was crazy. And like, Victoria was like, we went like hardcore. We did like, it was like the first time we were female took like we took a chair shot, you know, and it was like so controversial. But like, when you had to do these little things to like start putting in the idea that the women could be seen like this. And so I remember Vince pulled me aside and he said, he goes, yeah, he goes, so they would have these live events. They're not tellbiz, but they're live events of these called house shows. And they would pull like the first couple rows of like your favorite matches.

And they would, and they said that we were being ranked right up there, like one and two people were putting on. So they're like, he's like, just keep up the work. He said. So he kind of gave me the nod, like recognizing the you guys are being noticed. And then we just suddenly, as we produced out there and then the fans, once they were ready to like take that in. Because we were called the pop-room break, washroom break. We want puppies. Like that's what they, that's what they, when the women do the thing, whatever, right? Then it was like, no, I want to watch this match. I want to see the storyline. And then so it went from delivering really great matches, hardcore matches. And then Mickey James came along. And her and I had like serious, we're like, we were looking at like stories, like single white female. We took that story and turned it into a storyline. And we had a plot. And we had, there was story arcs. And it was intense. And it was months of stories, which was unusual at the time for women, especially, but also for storylines that go along is also rare. But then we were also, you know, they would culminate to the match in the ring, right? So WrestleMania 22 was like the culmination of all of it. And the fans went mental for it. And it was, it was really great.

Was that your like, we have arrived at the moment? Was that your... There was a couple, but that's for sure one of them. Because like, to have like the ulcerina coming for us, like that, it just was unheard of for the females. So yeah, yeah, it's pretty great. When did you feel respected as a wrestler? From the fans or from, it's because there was different levels, right? There was... What do you feel it? You personally... I couldn't own that I was a wrestler for a long time. It was weird. It was because the guys were like used to us not being the show and are, you know, getting the spotlight in the pay-per-view matches and they're the card. And so I remember like, we'd been the airport and like people would be like, oh my god, are you a wrestler? And if I, if I knew there was guy wrestlers around, I was like, oh, I'm just on the show. Like I couldn't... Even though I could and I was a wrestler and I did wrestle on the show, I was like, I get it. I'm not, I'm not what you guys do. They've been in the independent wrestling scene for 15 years. And I was like, didn't, I wasn't worthy of that title almost. It took me a long time to finally get there. And it probably wasn't until I would say 2005,

a good chunk of my career. And I've been like four-time champion at that point. Right. But getting, I think I needed to know that like my matches were worthy, the obviously the, he got the same attention that the, you know, the, like, say ratings and things like that. The men's matches got and things like that. So I think then I knew, okay, like I could call myself a wrestler. So it took quite a while for the other wrestlers to come around and be like, okay, this is the real deal. For the wrestlers, yeah, for sure. Who was, who was it that, for you? Yeah. Who was the wrestler that gave you the, the thumbs up that you're like? Her best friend. Hello, hello, it's Brooke DeVard from Naked Beauty. Who's the rock, you know? Oh, the rock? You're my best friend. Yeah, I was like, what did I say? I was like, what did I say? This is my best friend. You're my best friend. That's amazing. Yeah. He was the one from the very beginning, and he said, he goes, you could be the female rock. And I was like, OK, yes, I like that. So he'd help me with my promos. And it was important to know promos were key. That's what sets you apart. Like anyone can kind of learn a wrestle, but the promos and entertaining and holding a crowd like that is everything. So he helped me with promos. And then, you know, there was probably a handful of guys that were in my corner, my agent, for example, Fit Finley, Lance Storm. He's like an amazing Canadian wrestler, you know? Right. He and William Regal, actually. There was this morning crew who would just be around.

They love wrestling so much that they just literally hang out in the ring all day. And I would just be like, OK, I had this idea. I saw it on Mortal Kombat. I'm wondering if maybe I could do this thing. And they're like, let's try it. So they let me try things. And when they saw how willing I was to try. That's the inner thing. Yeah, look at you. I know. What is this? Well, because I played Mortal Kombat. And they watched her. So I was, you see it on the top turnbuckle. And then I'm going to do a handstand on the bottom, ropes, and come up with my legs and grab your neck and toss you a side. Can we do that for you now? Yeah. That sounds fun. We did some downward dogs first. Yeah, we're going to turn them into a situation. Of course, I did it with you. If you were to ring over there, I would definitely do that too. I mean, there is a space I could take you. I would love to wrestle. But when you talk about the female's aspect, you said the golden era, do you like where it is now? Or do you think it should be further when it comes to females in wrestling? It is everything we dreamed of right now. Good. It really is incredible. The women are getting amazing opportunities. They're headlining paper views. They're, you know, another called PLE's

Premium Live Events. Yes. They're just for an old school wrestler fan, okay? Yeah, yeah, yeah. But it's amazing. The girls are, you know, there's, is there areas that could still catch up, like the money-to-par mixture? Yeah. That's always, you know, in all of our areas, there is that for us females. But I mean, honestly, what they're doing, like, we got like a little hints of it, and we got a little taste of it here, and they're like, we got the main event match one time in my entire career while I was active. Yeah. Now they're doing it, it's normal to have a woman close the show, absolutely. Or even a paper view via main event in the paper view. And, you know, they're a WrestleMania, a main event years ago. And to get the reaction across the board, whether it's the guys or the girls, is from the audience perspective, when you're in there, you feel that it's, yeah. It's not even, it's not even. But you feel at least, like, for a long-term wrestling fan, who is always like, I want to see everyone perform. Yeah. To get to see it now is like, like you said, it's kind of the dream. Yeah. What's really cool is, like,

and also, you know, in the lead-up, we would see it too in my promo work. But like, you training, I was always wondering from you, if, because of the style that they wrestle now, if that felt to you like, yes, we can take out all the stops. Right. Like, if this felt like opportunities for you, when you came back, and you did like, you're not just Becky, you're not necessarily with me. Yeah. And thoughts to yourself, now I could finally like, really, really go. Yeah. Was it an opportunity, or did it feel daunting to you? I know, it was an opportunity for sure to like, and also like, I also like to exceed people's expectations. Yeah. So, I can come back and just do my greatest hits, and you'll see the stratus, the stratosphere, and there's all these things that people know, which is fine, and they're going to pop like crazy. But I like to challenge, part of accepting it is to challenge myself, and like, to see, can I do it, right? So, I like to push the limits a little bit, so I got a chance to like, try new things, and do, I pulled a moon sort out for the first time in 25 years, and I was like, it was so fun. Like, I was like, I was like, I think I can do it. Like, my brain thinks I can do it. Look at my body, you know? And she can't. She can. She did it. So, that was fun to be able to do that,

and also to mix up in the different styles. I had the, you know, steel cage match with Becky, and that is just, that was men's territory. You would be crazy if you said it out loud. Like, ooh, could the women, they'd be like, stop. You're silly. You're silly. So, like, to go back, and like, that's what I wanted to do, was go back, and do things that I was not able to do, so the fact that I could do a cage match, something that was not even a possibility back in the day, it was, it's empowering to be able to do that. Like, now we can do this. It is an option now, and character work just came back and just to have some fun with character work was fun for me to explore that. What do you love about wrestling? There's so many different elements. What is that thing for you that makes you just grab on? I think, well, lately it has been the challenge of like, can I still do this? Will I be able to challenge you? You know, you're all about challenging yourself all the time. Yeah, yeah. And it was, it is about like, can I, you know, I, I, it's not to outdo my other work, but kind of sometimes, I was like, I don't know, which is better than that. You know what I mean? Because I can do more, right? Because I have 12 minutes, 20 minutes to tell a story, not four minutes to tell a story, right?

So there's that. But I just love, I mean, what I'm drawn to this business is the combination of being theatrical and sports at the same time. It's like a dream. You know, I play sports my whole life as kids and to be able to combine, I did, I did, you know, theater work and to be able to combine it and just be that robust personality that I was the kid was a dream, you know? Oh, we also storyline. I was talking to Carlos about this. I know we haven't gone to the next one. But there's so many different story lines. Those are one that you did not like. If I didn't like it, I wouldn't have been in it. So I was really good about, I need to be fully engaged. Yeah, there's a couple that were proposed to me that I didn't like. Yeah. And I, no, I shot them down. I just, I just like, I need to like be, you gotta, I gotta love what I'm doing in order to do it. I do it well. You know, I gotta be authentic. Or else it's, I just feel like the fans know. And it's just different. Your performance will be different if you're not authentic. Yeah. Okay, let's go. Okay. Okay. There's so many. Aww. You guys had to pull this, huh? It's just such a lovely.

Yeah, everything about it. It's the full setting. Yeah. Oh gosh. Okay, so that's mom and my sisters. Where the girls was in prompt to trip to Greece. And I just look, no, you know, my mom was passed. And so I'm just so thankful that we had that last run just the girls where we got my sister lives in Greece. And then, oh, you guys. Yeah. Okay, give me a second. So, yeah, we just, we were so glad that we got to, we went to, I was, I was feeling like my sister was like, needing home, needing family. So I was like, I'm gonna come visit you. And I just on a trip, like I was in England. And I did like a weekend thing in England. If you're like, how do you go to England for like the weekend? I'm like, I just do. It was just work. I just go in. I go out. It's fine. And I was like, my mom's birthday and I was like, okay, we'll bring mom. We'll do that. And then my sister's like, oh, so we just made a girl's trip. And I'm just, it was spontaneous. It was last minute. We did it. And I'm just like, so blessed that we had, she was still, like, you know, fine. Everything was,

she was in her prime. And I made everyone do a photo shoot together. But like, everyone hated me that day. No, this wasn't, this was at a restaurant. This is for a birthday. But I made us all like, do this like, matchy matchy thing. And everyone hated me that they're like, oh, don't worry. And it's like the one thing I say after my mom passed is like, take those photos, be annoyed, just get all, like, videos, like, the one thing I was craving so much when my mom passed was like, just hearing her voice. And so I think a lot of times we take these videos that are like, us eating or just this, like nothing was substance, you know, whereas back in the day, when we did the camcorder, when dad pulled out the camcorder, you'd be like, what are you guys doing? And are you talk? Or you'd have more, like, there's more to it. And it would really capture the moment more than just, you know, it's so superficial now, a little bit. So I say, get all that stuff because you'll really crave it afterwards. I'm getting goosebumps thinking about it. That's true. My dad passed a few years ago. And when I think about the sort of the space of time around when he left, the one thing that I wish I could have done was just be there more.

Yes. And take more pictures and joke more. And we did. There was a lot of that. Did you know it was ending? You didn't know it was ending, right? That's the thing, right? So that's why you have to spend every day, like, make it like they say, make it like it's your last day. Like, it's true. It was this weird thing where my mom, we knew she was diagnosed. It was March of last year. And it was the match you were at. She was supposed to come to that. And the fact that she didn't come, I was like, oh, that's, she's, she'll tough it out. She's like, I have this cold. It was like she thought she had a cold. It was, it was lung cancer. But she thought she had a cold. And she's like, I just can't get it. I must be this long COVID. She said, she kept saying. And I was like, I guess. I don't know. I mean, I'm going to go down. I knew that something was out. That she was, you know, for her to not see me rest. I said, is it like the last time possible if she seen me resting live? And then we... She comes to all your rest. She, she... No, no. But she, especially it being in Canada, it being for the first month for the kids. She would have been with the kids. It being possibly the last time I'd rest. I don't know if that was, I never know nowadays. When it's the last time, right? And so for her to miss,

that was a big deal. And then it just, it declined. But I took off work. I just went with her again. It was like, that was the phase. You know, you'll probably notice there's literally a dark phase in my Instagram where you just don't see posts for months and months and months I just there was the what I don't even think about it, right? And then actually in the match that I did with Tiffany was evolution and that was July and I was like I they had proposed that because it was my 25th anniversary year We had a couple things planned it would have been like the Toronto for sure homecoming we'll do the Roa Rumble was to come out at 25 to kick off the year then it was me in Tiffany evolution and then we're gonna kind of do a little finale Towards the end and when Tiffany came I was like oh, I like my mom said you better do like you better do this match She's like you can't she's a first. Well. I want to see you wrestle. I want to see you wrestle might be the last time I see you wrestle And I so I did and it felt so hard to leave her like during that time But the fact that she got to see me wrestle for the last time was amazing and the text she sent me after was so sweet Like just like that's my girl, you know doing so gave her like a nice home to do it

She was really good about like there was a phase where I was dropping the kids off and just going straight to her and She's like did you do your yoga and I was like no and she's like stop don't lose yourself Like I understand she felt guilty first of all that I was like dropping everything She's like just at least do your yoga do your yoga because for me that was like my only one-on-one time with me because it was just like It was so great as you know, so as that time unfolds I knew where we're headed I didn't know it was gonna be as quick as it was but I was just like as long as she's still here I'll be with her and I just was literally by her side every day to the very literally to the very end She died in my arms literally in my arms. So So I'm thankful for that and I just that's why you have to call like call your parents people just if you take it to take your Grand or like oh dad's calling like you know to me just I would do the things with my dad before he passed I remember thing you think God I started doing that it would be my my daily call I dropped my kids off and I had that little window after drop off to getting home and I called out during that time And it was nothing we talk about nothing. It was going home depot for the days But that he room I remember him for that long

I know that I gave him my love for that long and for him especially as people get older That's so mean so much for them right? Yeah, so that photo is so special. Yeah, all for you. Oh, this is so nice. Yeah, it's that's the one you need to frame and Yeah, oh, that's framed. That's framed. Yeah. Yeah, yeah, I have two sisters too. So that yeah, right says it speaks to you Okay, ready. Nice. Yeah. Okay I don't remember this one. Okay, it's okay. Yeah, I see it first. Oh, yes. Well, we just I was like I was like we need an action shot. Yeah, this is a good shot. I mean this So what is happening here? So here. Yeah, I'm in a steel cage match at almost 50 years old Wrestling with one of the greatest female wrestlers of all time as well, right as well as well This was a blessing to come back and work with her was amazing because I didn't know this was meet coming back And they had asked me to come back and it was like

They wanted me to come back for WrestleMania match, right? Like so it's like, you know, it's marquee It's novelty. Let's bring some nostalgia in and I agreed to it But I was like, but I want to do a little bit of a run if I do it I don't want to just I want to let's see if I can you know and so working with her was amazing Like we just meshed so well the chemistry was there and sometimes you don't have that when we had it right away And I got to be a bad guy. So that was thing. I said I want to come back And I want to do so many different because I've come back and be like She's here, you know, so I came back as a bad guy and it was super fun working with her Can you tell me about the looks like you have so many different looks? Is there one that you love? Oh, they're so unique They are You're just saying it of course. Yeah, no, it's all it's like when I say I I am Everything's created everything's planned everything's there's a reason for everything Well, which look do you want to talk about? Is there one that you love that you've kept or like you keep them? I mean Yes, I'm actually in my restaurant. We're putting a museum. We're doing a museum And I'm putting some of these outfits out and I'm like these this is there's some iconic stuff

I have stuff that like from 25 years ago like it's crazy this stuff I have like I was like the big rubber made box. Okay, like the tickle trunk I've been really like lucky that I hadn't I remember when I first the very first day of work They came to me. I was in the arena. They were just bringing me every week and figuring out when I would start And so they came to me and they're like, okay, you're gonna start tonight. You're gonna be a bad guy You're gonna be with test and Albert and I was like, okay, and I was like I don't have like I needed the outfit So I went to the mall with Lily and Garcia the ringing answer her and I were riding buddies And she's like let's go to the mall. Let's get you something And I remember thing. I just wanted like as a distinct outfit like the undertaker has a distinct outfit Like when you're when you dress up for Halloween, you know, there's an outfit, right? So you know, sometimes it's just like the girls were just you know, spandex and type things But there's no real distinct look So I got the cowboy hat and the long jacket and that became my thing. So you were you were thinking oh, yeah Yeah, yeah, yeah, I didn't realize how much I was inspired with it Tell this very moment Yeah, yeah, he did the career for many many years, so they're like, okay, interesting

And so yeah, so it was fun to come back and like reintegrate that look, but in a modern way It was fun. It was it's you know, and my my style remains the same But obviously the modernized Trish, you know what we say But when I did come back and I turned heel and I came back in the iconic Trish outfit people are like This that was the one How do you compare the feeling of you're just talking about that first day you put that outfit together Do you walk that out for the very first time to Coming back and putting on a show for like 50,000 people who have watched you since they were kids like Compare those two moments Less nervous Um, it is such a at home feeling for me like as nervous as they am and there's feelings of course there's butterflies and like oh my god And like the could I do it there's moments where I remember thinking when I went back was like If I suck I could like ruin my whole legacy like this could this could be bad, you know Like we've seen that people have come back and just stayed a little too long Hey, who I'll tell you after

No, I don't know any of that. No, I don't personally know it by the way For people that have been sitting in the business I know like you know some people yeah Michael Jordan should have paid Facebook just like things like that Yeah, yeah, yeah, um, yeah, so um I went back and I was able to sustain my legacy, which was great But obviously that great people people working for me, but that feeling is the same like it's like I just want to go out there. I want to make a moment It's about making these moments again And I just want to like I want to give my I give my everything to the to the fans But because they are so invested in what we're doing. They're so they're just you know This is their moment. They've paid money to be here. I owe them this moment, you know So I want I need to deliver and then I just I feel so at home. I really do I get on stage and I'm just Fans are amazing Even like when I wasn't even wrestling like even just when I was doing like has got talent or something They're still supporting me like yeah for years. These guys have been in my corner for 25 years And I like my stratosphereians they call them. They're just amazing They on they come out to all when I was a second city I did like a there's nothing to do with wrestling, you know

And they came and supported me like it's pretty wild and these autograph signings like they just you know They I'm a piece of their childhood, which I'm honored to be a part of like I said's generational now where like the dad's like I grew up watching you now my son or my daughter's growing up watching you, you know And to see the how it's impacting their lives. It's pretty remarkable. What's really amazing is like You've been able to make this be a part of your story, but not your whole story Like you've got the stratosphereians like you said to follow you to whatever and support you doing whatever you transcend and what the business Kind of is although I'm sure you know you would say to yourself that I owe a lot of this to that business You are like Tristratus not just not just Tristratus that did this one Yeah Someone mentioned they said it's like they're like wait, how long did you wrestle and I was like well It was like so it's like about six seven years, right? Yeah This time, you know, you've got to turn this there. It's like it's really yeah And that is cringe now because now you know, it's cringe to do it right before you're like It was called sigma mom now. It's like these words are like not cool anymore

But I lost my thought what was I saying You said that's how you did it for yes, okay, so it's really a blip in the in my life, right? So in a weird way, I've only did it like wrestling in intensity for six seven years But yet for 25 years, it's been part of my life You know what I mean? So and I have done autograph signings for the that same fan base, you know and created products for them and and you know spoken to them And so it's like it's it's a 25 year career in the business, but not wrestling studies So it's it's interesting, but then yeah, I've had the chance to see if you've seen me do other things I've gone off and done amazing opportunities like cans got talented movies and it's you know, it's helped me do yoga So much yoga. Yeah yoga is the heart of me. Yeah, it's honestly how you know people are like how can you how do you keep doing? I'm like it's yoga and it's funny because there's a a deeper answer when like someone's like I want to get Interessing what should I do do you have any advice for me? And I want and I've always done like the you know state treat yourself be authentic There's stuff with your character like I've done that, but I'm also like, but also do yoga

If you want to wrestle for 25 years And you know, yeah, do yoga. It's such a it's a huge part of how I keep going Editation does that well kind of century. You like yes, I mean you've gone through a lot. Yes. I mean from When I first found it, it was definitely to just take her an injury I had a hernated disk in my back and it was just degenerative damage, which happens in our business And so I was I was faced with having to do surgery and I didn't want to so I found yoga And I immediately felt like oh, I think this is helping the pain and like headaches are going away Like the things that I was experiencing on a daily that I was just used to doing which was not acceptable You should not ever have headaches every day I just started to believe you so I found it because I'm like, okay, this will help me get back in the ring But then I realized it it affected me on so many different levels So then when I went back to this 300-day-year frenetic pace of wrestling Suddenly it wasn't as crazy. It was more manageable And it was like also I would see it differently. I'm like holy I mean I'm in Memphis. Let me go to Graceland as opposed to like airports I mean a hotel home train to it was like wait you've this gift you're like traveling the world

You're meeting people from around the world like go and see the like places see where you are Don't be boss is not the same as as Texas. You know, I mean like go ahead and actually see the stuff like you you know The arenas all let it together. Yes, I would love that. I mean, so I feel like and then I opened my yoga students You know because I was like I was like what's the secret? I'm like it's actually yoga if you guys do 90 minutes a day This is you will have this I'm gonna say in the whole thing about her going into Because I've been in a car with her driving on the gardener. Okay, I know how much she needs it So I need to send her I need to send her out Yeah If I see we will look at this whatever you have the same high energy, right? Like we like they're like we're like fricking fracked together But like they would do people who vibrate at a certain frequency. They're just I'm always at that level. I think for me that it's Still you because I know that if I don't take that still that'll burn you out you can't keep going forever Like I'm a little bit older than you girl, but so I've been vibrating for a longer So like you need to so it's like it was always even when I opened my studio. I remember saying

Like really how do you do it all? I do this thing. It's yoga. It's this one-on-one time with yourself your moment to disconnect your moment to set your intention It's really like take just shut everything down It's like when you see those phases in my Instagram. I'm shutting it down being with me for this 90 minutes That's it hour to 90 minutes and then you're gonna be able to tackle it all Okay, okay Your best friend Yes, all of them I have yeah, and you've gone on to do a lot more we just talked about Outside and so of these guys so these guys so between the three of them if you're sitting down to watch your movie Yeah, this movie you're picking. Who do you think is the best actor among the three of these best actor? Yeah I all of them are doing excellent outside of the sphere wrestling Yeah It is wonderful to see everyone as everyone exited the scene and like started to dabble outside of wrestling

It was so great to see people hitting success, you know, and like being able to to to make it out because you know You're more than just a wrestler right, but the thing is too about wrestlers, right? We are quite a unique thing, you know, the fact that we can do what we do it's improv It's thinking on your feet. It's moving. It's looking good while you're getting your ass kicked Like it's so much. So I'm not surprised to see it translate But I was happy to see that they were able to end the world of brace that as well So kudos to all them the boys Do you think is the most successful? You changed the question But you know looking at all of this and you know kind of bringing them memories back for you Do you have have you had a chance to kind of just sit back and reflect on how credible it's been for you? Not really I haven't it takes things like These autograph signings for someone to say things to me that I'm like, oh my god Yeah, you know, I think honestly a few times there's been a couple retrospective moments when I got inducted to the Hall of Fame

Because that's a chance like I remember I got inducted WB Hall of Fame's 2013 And I remember I was like it feels too soon like I felt young I was young for sure But also it just felt like should I've done more? But I realized oh that made me think oh we did a lot like we made huge strides in that short amount of time I mean me and rock talk about all time were like I'm like we were only there six or so we were he's same thing six seven years And we made the impact we did so we just you know, it's like concentrating good work But um the Hall of Fame allowed so I remember because I've been I always know it's like I was only given the chances and and able to Accel because I was supported, you know, I was supported by my my agents by the other female who was like I got to work with this new chick Trish and then you know, give me this great match because she helped me You know, she helped elevate me and things like so I was been always thankful and and aware of the people in my life That helped me get to where I got So my first speech was very much. I thank you. I thank you to this. Thank you to that and acknowledging different things in my career I literally had a scroll I put the scroll out and I said

If I didn't get your name today you're on the list like because there's so many people from the producers to the production to the ring The guy who put up the ring, you know everything right The guy put the oil on my back. I'm just gonna But you guys Yeah, it's a job. It's just a real job. It's just that's what they told me anyway Yeah, but then then later on in other Hall of Fame It was like I feel like okay, it was like about actually let me just think what the messages right it was about like the impact that We've made as women and like that. I was given the chance to go out there and like you know a female making a male dominated world When a girl says to me, um, I want to be like you want to grow up. It's not to be a wrestler It's that someone who is a female making a male dominant world someone who's following their passion Someone who is breaking barrier. So it wasn't someone's not afraid to say no, you know what I mean So I allowed me to sort of be more retrospectively in those moments to like be able to see the full picture a little bit more So yeah, I think you're like to see would be different if you thought differently I think it's gonna be different if you were like I am the best. Yes

I know these things and walked around with that every day. Yeah, you know when we talked to Chelsea Green She talked about meeting you for the first time and being kind of awestruck But she brought up that it was everything I wanted it to be In the moment in meeting you and I think that is kind of what you were talking about here If you standing in your foot, I can go I did this for everybody It would come across differently for anyone that you encountered and For your stratosphereians who follow you. So yeah, I think it's I love the way that you carry it Ah, thank you. This is a you know if you weren't right a book about your life. What would the title be? Oh Gosh something with strides, of course Into the stratosphere. I don't know There may be some dabbling on some pages currently happening It's time it takes time for sure. I don't know. I don't know. I feel like I'm one of those It will it will tell it's like once the story is being told I it will just I think I'll just literally close my eyes and I feel like it's gonna pop into my mind What it's gonna be. Yeah, I feel like that. I have so a lot of time. My mind should just be legend

It's just legend. You'll be in street pose and you'll be like there it is And you'll just start 100% though that does when I steal my mind This is why sometimes I work my best work is done between two and four a.m Sometimes because everything's still and I'm like I see it. I got it. I'm working and that's when it comes, you know So yeah, I'll let you know I can't one of the what is the book coming out? Well, I'll let you know We'll come back and talk to you. Yeah, Julie. Okay So we're just gonna quick fun quiz with you. Okay, I love it. Okay, ready?
